TRH Jardín Del Mar Apart-hotel

We have just returned from this hotel after ten days holiday. I will firstly give you the good aspects.
Location good. lifts excellent. cleanliness good. Pool area very nice. Do book a room with a view it's worth it. Beds very comfortable. Reception area spacious and cool. Supermarkets nearby. Lots of sun beds available. Very nice helpful staff.
The BAD...
Rooms are dated and tired (70s feel) no accessibility to plugs in the dated kitchen area. One is so high up on the wall it's religiously stupid.
Absolutely no sound proofing tiles on the floor chipped and old. Pigeons poo on the balcony ever day. Water stains on the skirting boards. No tall table on the patio for dining. No hanging hooks on the doors. Blackout blinds are dated and torn with out of date pelmets. There is only a bath shower with a curtain that sticks to you. No Happy Hour at pool bar and no internal hotel bar. No 'DO NOT DISTRUBE NOTICE' on the door. Only one key per apartment. Key box at reception (outdated system) uncomfortable sofa as its a bed and difficult to sit on during the day. The fridge in total need a replacement. Cleaning staff just ring the bell and barge in. Only one socket in the bedroom to service both sides of the bed. Why advertise an indoor pool as its never in use. We didn't need it however it should be clearly stated. The pool has no steps only a few wobbly ladders. This is very unsatisfactory for the unexperienced swimmer. With all that in mind you can now make a calculated decision when booking this hotel.
It such a pity that there has been no proper investment into the self catering rooms/apartments. The view across the bay is exceptionally nice but you need to stand up above the concrete balcony in order to see it.
We won't be staying again sadly.

We were with the whole family of four person at the reception there were a lady and a man who were so so in
communication with us which me as guest expected more communicative rather than disciplinist. In clear example they told us we need to pay tax in addition to the night fee but our debit card was in problem for a while and we were tired so we asked them let us stay in our room until we finalize the tax payment which they forced us to pay first and then let us in while I was prepared the night fee through Hotels application full payment a few days before arrival. After we entered our room we noticed it is in basement floor where our view was a wall and the room was disgusting all the floor covered by snails and other creatures and the cabinets were old and fungi also fungi bathroom tails and dirty dishes and break down kettle. All was pictured by me I don't recommend this hotel

This is a rare hotel that makes people angry.
The facilities are old, the walls are not soundproof at all, and the voices in the corridor are clear, not to mention the loud singing downstairs in the middle of the night. Don't even think about going to bed before 1 o'clock every day.
There is almost no WiFi, and the connection is either very slow or disconnected after a while.
No one cleans the room every day!
There is no reservation for sports facilities at all, and those who can be reserved need to pay extra.
The front desk is inefficient, and the check-in time exceeds 40 minutes. They would rather answer the phone than answer people. The funniest thing is that it is clearly three stars (shown at the door) but it hypnotizes itself that it is four stars.
