Zafiro Palmanova Apart-hotel

The hotel is perfection personified but tonight we are just finishing one of our meals whilst watching the show which is superb again, live music, amazing food and drink in a fab location served by Lubo and Miguel and many more, will leave a full review when back home but bar and restaurant staff whether it is buffet at breakfast or lunch on patio or dinner and then evening drinks, fab again.

Currently staying here just now for 1 week in a 1 bed apartment. Overall it’s a nice hotel but I probably wouldn’t return as it didn’t tick all the boxes for me. We are all inclusive and I feel the food was a bit of a let down. Firstly the size of the buffet area is actually quite small compared to what I’m used to. Having said that, it was ok. Pretty average. On occasions the food was lukewarm at best. However, the restaurant staff are very good. Hard working and friendly. Normally greeted at the door by Jeanette who was very friendly and polite. The restaurant is kept clean by a lovely older lady walking around sweeping the floor. She had a smile for everyone and loved the young children. Sorry if I don’t mention other names but all very good. Our room was clean. Sheets were only changed once during our stay though towels were replaced when the room was cleaned. We didn’t get our rooms cleaned on Wednesday and Sunday but that was explained to us at check in. Not sure why though. Other rooms seem to get daily housekeeping. I think it must depend on what room you get. Prior to arrival I was informed by TUI that building work was going on and I requested a quiet room. On arrival I was not pleased that we were actually placed in a room directly in front of the building work. Fortunately this did not affect our stay at all. In fact it was surprisingly quiet. I’m assuming most of the work is done during the day when guests are not in their rooms. Not the best view, however, I did not pay extra for a pool view. So building site view it was. Which was ok. The pool areas are busy. I would say this hotel is more suitable for younger families. The depth of the pools are not deep enough for teenagers for example. Teenagers coming here would get bored. Special shout out to Gus the lifeguard who was very helpful and kind. Great customer service from him and always smiling. Overall it was nice. The staff make it better than it is. Location is great too.

Just about to leave this hotel after a week with my wife and two kids aged 3 and 9. An amazing hotel with great staff, food and drinks. Super clean and modern!! The jumping pillow in the pool kept my kids entertained for hours every day. Perfectly located for walks into palmanova and magaluf if that’s your thing

Loved this hotel, even though we came as a couple it's definitely a family hotel too, we never struggled for a sunbed, food was exceptional, staff are very friendly and attentive, room lovely, spacious and clean and housekeeping always superb. We booked self catering but upgraded to all inclusive for 3 days for €70 each per day ( you can do this as long as it is a minimum of 3 consecutive days which was well worth it. Its a short stroll to the beach with lovely resturants and bars, I would recommend the olive tree, best steak I've ever had, we also got an Uber to the harbour for dinner one evening which is lovely and karaoke bar nearby is worth going to for a giggle and cheapish drinks. A little tip would be that is your self catering or half board and want to go all inclusive book it there rather than upgrade on your package deal, from half board to AI was €40 and self catering to AI was €70 and worth it! You can also get Ubers out there and please note is it a cashless hotel (unless paying for something at reception i.e upgrade, things charged to your room or tax etc) the drinks are quite expensive in the hotel hense why we upgraded for 3 days.

Our first time in this hotel and we were very impressed. Great location. Good food. Clean spacious room. Modern bathroom suite. Big comfy bed. Super cool air con. Lots of pool room and sunloungers but we stayed out of England school holidays so perhaps it was quieter than in full season. Would recommend a pool view room to avoid looking out onto roads or a car park. We will return.

We stayed at the Zafiro Palmanova as a family and travelled with my 22 year old daughter. We have stayed at different hotels in Palma Nova and this is the best yet. All the staff are amazing Was very impressed with everything from the start. We had an early morning flight and arrived at the hotel around 11am, we checked in very quickly & easy & told check in was 3pm but as our room was ready were allowed access. a great start to the holiday as we were able to unpack and change and go to the pool. The rooms were clean and aircon was great. Was a bit worried about the comments on here on open plan bathroom and no privacy but we didn’t have this the bathroom had a door and very private. We booked our stay as half board but enquired about upgrading to all in inclusive at check in & was quoted €30 per person per night which was amazing as we have been quoted £1100 by easy jet before travelling. We took advantage of this & we’re not disappointed. The food was amazing the best we have had in a hotel in Palma Nova. The variety of food on offer was great & there is something for everyone even my daughter who is very fussy!! The desserts on offer leave you spoilt for choice. The drinks included are all premium brands & not the cheap local brands & the cocktails are all included. It is even waiter service on a night which was a nice touch and meant you could just relax. The evening entertainment could do with something for the adults as well as the kids. Location is great too just a 5 minute walk down the steps to the beach and shops Would highly recommend this hotel and already looking to come back

Back again at the Zafiro Palmanova! The staff here are amazing and can't do enough for you. Thanks to Fernando, Cristina and Maria, and the rest of the reception team, and TeteKike, Sergio in the restaurant, and Alveroand Ra fa at the bar. Amazing people that make the stay. Buffet was better than last year. Last year we commented that it would be nice to have Salmon and Sea bass more than once week, and wow, did they deliver. Not saying it was down to our comment, but overall much better quality. One suggestion, please put chips in the 'adult' area and not just kids at dinner time. If you don't want the kids food, go straight past this section and grab a plate by the show cooking, but when you go back for a few chips and the ketchup you have to navigate in-between queuing people for the kids section. Air con was good, wifi was fast, lively atmosphere. Evening entertainment perhaps a little too focused on very young children, so more adult orientated acts would be good. Credit to Marco for a very well run hotel!

The highs: Location - a short 20 min transfer via taxi, within a 5 min walk of the beachfront. Cleanliness - 10/10 for cleanliness. Rooms - neutral, clean, and air con is bliss. Staff - really friendly. Drinks - loads of alcohol on the All Inclusive including my fave Aperol Spritz. Sunlounger policy - when you reserve a sunbed they put a note on your bed to say what time you reserved it, and you have 40 mins from reserving (perfect amount of time for brekkie). We never had any trouble finding loungers. Kids facilities - the splashpark and slides etc are perfect. Evening entertainment is great, discos and shows. Pool - nice and warm. The lows: The Safe - having to pay to hire a safe at a 4* hotel doesn’t sit well with me. Tired - the hotel and pool areas are tired, loungers are discoloured, towels threadbare. Buffet - the variety was poor, the same old pasta, pizza and cold fries on option most evenings. A la Carte - we had wrongly assumed the al a carte restaurant was a separate restaurant but in reality it’s just an area sectioned off the main buffet. Lots of options not available from the menu which was disappointing. Tip for room choice - we didn’t fancy paying extra for a pool view room, and we’re glad as the pool view rooms also have to listen to the entertainment until late, which isn’t ideal with a little one. We requested a room away from the building works, which they did for us, never heard any building works our whole trip.

I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left everybody was super helpful the staff but the restaurant were always smiling and happy to help. we did an all inclusive package, Both the food and wine at the restaurant were great quality.
We paid extra for a swim up room, which was also really nice
Will definitely go back again
