This hotel was built in the district is extensive and beautiful beach of Playa de Muro. What a beautiful hotel! I traveled to Majorca after attending at wedding in Germany. I was so pleasantly surprised at this beach resort. It is physically beautiful. Rooms are comfortable; well equipped. There is food service at the pool ... the food and drinks are ok. A frozen drink should be frozen, not "liquidy". There were quite a few kids so if you want a quiet experience, you may want to try a different hotel. There is direct access to the beach; lots of seaweed to walk thru to get to swimmable water, however. I'm not a fan of seaweed! Showers are available to use to wash off sand. I used the Bali Beds for a day and they are just glorious! I think the hotel and staff are still working out the kinks of having recently opened ... but all in all, I would definitely return ... and highly recommend trying this lovely paradise.

The property undoubtedly enjoys a prime location, directly on one of Mallorca's most beautiful coastlines. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, and the housekeeping staff has always been friendly and helpful. However, what left us perplexed was the management staff's general approach. We felt that the selection process for managers and department heads did not reflect the standards of quality and hospitality expected from a chain like Hyatt. Certain behaviors observed—including public addressing of staff members and inappropriate tone toward collaborators and artists—reveal a deficiency not so much in training, but rather in the selection and evaluation of interpersonal skills. In a sector like high-end hotels, technical expertise must always be accompanied by emotional intelligence and positive leadership skills, elements that were unfortunately lacking in this experience.

Hotel has just opened and I cannot fault it! As someone who has worked in events for over 30 years and also a travel agent I can be very picky! Firstly, every single member of staff is fantastic, so helpful, genuine and friendly. The bedrooms/bathrooms are great, we had a side sea view which was lovely (only a few rooms have full sea view). It is located right on the beach, and the water was so clear and blue, it was beautiful. Stunning sunrise! The hotel doesn’t have sunbeds on the beach but you can hire them for €7 a sunbed. The pool area was great, never a problem to get sunbeds at any time of day, always lots of towels and the pool was beautiful. Also Small little kids pool. There is a really nice pool bar where you can also get food. The hotel is located out of Alcudia but you can walk to restaurants and shops and there is a little supermarket right outside the hotel. You can jump into a cab and be in Port Alcudia in 10 minutes which was great. Remember to download Mallocab app. We took part in a wine and painting experience which was complimentary and so much fun, I would highly recommend it. The lady that took was so good. The whole vibe at the hotel is very relaxing, worth a trip.

We booked this hotel last minute and were very glad we did. The hotels main areas are lovely with friendly and efficient staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Everything was very clean and the beach is fabulous - long and sandy so plenty of room. Views were great from the restaurant terrace and our balcony. Hope to come back next year to try out the spa !

Service was second to none throughout our stay - attentive, but not overly so. So friendly and thoughtful and felt like quality from the moment we walked in. Food had wonderful variety and quality was great. Impressive surroundings and the decor, refurb, facilities and general ambience was fabulous. Rooms VERY comfortable and clean with thoughtful minibar etc. Cannot fault any aspect of this hotel/resort. Hire car arranged for us from the hotel, no issue/hassle/bother. Exceeded expectations due to the service and feeling like everyone there was happy, if we were happy!! ! Thank you all for an extremely memorable stay- We will be back!

Overall, the hotel was really really good, maybe best we have been to. Sarena de Muro after reconsturction was on another level of experience. Rooms have been clean and fragrenced. Stay at this hotel was such an experience.

Location very nice. Direct access to the beach. Quiet location. No holiday tourism. Family-friendly.As part of the renovation, the rooms have been completely refurbished. Access to the balcony is easily accessible through new sliding doors, and when closed, no outside noises can be heard. Only the cabinets could provide a bit more space.After several years of stagnation, the takeover and renovation of the hotel have had a very positive effect. The rooms now make a really good impression. Great importance is placed on cleanliness. Very good sanitary area with a directly accessible shower. It is therefore also suitable for people with physical disabilities. Staff were very friendly, as in previous years. The pool area has been nicely renovated and is in a very good condition. The location with access to the beach is noteworthy. It's no more than 20 meters from the pool area via a short path similar to a wooden bridge. The entire hotel complex is also very well designed. Additionally, there is a very good breakfast and dinner with a wide selection. There should be something for everyone. There are also vegetarian dishes available for those who want them. Overall, we were very satisfied. The staff are a special plus. Always ready to accommodate requests and make the stay as pleasant as possible.Relaxed atmosphere, very good food with a wide selection. Of very high quality. Flavor has improved further compared to previous years. And the food was already very good then. High quality hotel after renovation

Me and Hubby have just returned from a five night stay at this hotel. We really liked the decor and thought it was tasteful/stylish. The pool area is lovely with a pool bar which does particularly great food, I’d say! They played some music for a while round the pool which added a nice relaxed holiday vibe. The staff everywhere in the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfasts were yummy! Sourdough with avocado and salmon was my favourite! My only negative is that there is nowhere near enough wardrobe space for hanging, even for five nights! Also, our balcony was tiny! But amazing air con. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, most definitely. Thank you Hyatt.

Recently refurbished to a high standard, beautiful hotel very nicely decorated throughout. Staff are very pleasant and helpful, really friendly and ready to help at any time. We had a small leak in our room (recently refurbished, bound to have the odd hic-up) and the staff fixed the issue very quickly and left us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for the inconvenience, very good customer service considering. The pool area is very pleasant and located within the front of a beach. Sunbeds on the beach are not part of the hotel bear in mind, so you need to pay for those as it’s public beach property. The beach bar is great, fast service and the food is really good. Staff are again very friendly and the drinks are great quality too. Plenty of parking outside the hotel with a local supermarket just down the road for essentials. I’d recommend this hotel, its tucked away from noise and traffic, just down the road from the old down (about 20 min drive)

Positives: While the hotel feels dated, tired and in no way deserving of its 5* rating, I found the rooms of a good size and clean, the breakfast buffet was varied and tasty and extremely well run with helpful and friendly staff, the reception staff were also helpful if not overly warm.

Negatives: The near constant bad smell from the bathroom in our room, which ranged from bad to feeling like we had an open and direct pipe to the islands main sewage system. I am not lying when I say we were woken in the early hours of the morning on two occasions due to how bad the smell was. We ended up leaving the extractor fan on and door closed every night but it didn't help much. We reported it to reception multiple times, and they sent maintenance to do something which offered a few hours of reprieve but beyond that did nothing else.
