We stayed all inclusive, food was there for every possible taste and each day we were treated to something different.
We had to pay for our own drinks, if I was in a smaller group I would opt for all inclusive.
Fun games every day at the pool, archery, tennis et al
At night, we had live music and DJ's.
Staff are friendly, approachable and resolved any issues promptly.
The food and drink was good but not particularly exceptional. The staff struggled to keep up with demand, with popular dishes not being replenished during dinner and plates running low.
The staff were a real mixed bag. The reception staff with a few exceptions were rude, hostile and in some cases actively unhelpful (seriously trying to book the Italian restaurant shouldn't be that painful an experience and require that many dramatic sighs). On the flip side, Erika and the Kids Club team did an absolutely incredible job entertaining children during the day and doing a brilliant mini disco every night. As well as doing the grown up entertainment, they were total pros and made our daughter's holiday.
One last comment, why is the coffee shop only open between 1430-2130? That might be the most baffling thing I've seen at a hotel in my life....
check in was OK, friendly reception staff. However, I didn't expect to pay deposit for safe.

You get charged every time you want to swap pool towels over.
Room did have an odd smell when you first walk in.
They don't replace water in room.
Wifi for guest and visitors both very slow.. so even the tv often starts glitching. it would be easier if they just charged the extra bits onto the card if not returned rather silly bits of paper receipts.
Other facilities appear to be fine
Food was average
We had a room facing the front of the hotel and even tho we asked for a quiet room, we heard noice from nearby bars waking us up multiple times at night until 6am
2). At the Gaelic Bar end of hotel loud music and shouting prevents sleeping before 12 or so every night. One night it continued all night until 5 am.
For the price a “underground” room was not great.
Ridiculously slow check in. Staff are like robots. Poor air conditioning in the room and is lacking some basic amenities like an iron, tea / coffee making facilities etc. Charging extra for a safe in a 4 star hotel!
