Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza

The location is great. Beautiful beach.
Airplanes fly about 100m away but it didn’t bother us much.
Room had a great view , but it was small (booked standard ocean view ) and I questioned its cleanliness after I wanted to use a spoon but was unable to pick it up as it was cemented in to the cup with old coffee/sugar? Refrigerator also didn’t work.
Service was giving 2 star hotel. Bit snobbish. The nail on the coffin for me was when my boyfriend was turned away from guest services and SENT OUTSIDE to ask a bell boy for help with the blue tooth speaker? He was so polite when asking , it was difficult to watch.
After that we decided to do everything ourselves, as if we had an option as no one bothered to help in calling a taxi, loading our suitcases , etc.
Amenities close very early too, spa at 7( you only get 1.5 hr) , pool at 8? No jacuzzi either.
It’s not a terrible hotel but there are much better options when considering value.

Great location, crap hotel. Been to 5 star hotels around the world and this was overpriced for what it is. When I first called to ask about how the buffet was for breakfast, the person on the phone line made it out to be like it’ll be a wow experience. When it was absolutely far from it. Very underwhelming. Surprisingly, they had a kebab machine with chicken spinning on it. Don’t bother to ask for them to shave the chicken off for you fresh, they’ll ask you to get it from the hot counter. At 9am looking at the meat that was in the hot box didn’t look it it was shaved that morning, she then went out to the back to bring out a new tray of chicken (that wasn’t shaved off fresh either). It’s obvious they shave it from day before and put it into the fridge. The chicken that was spinning on the rotisserie was burnt, I’ll put it into photos.

You get to use the spa for 1.5 hours with your booking with a side of attitude from the receptionist. Asked the lady to take us for a tour or for us to look around in it before using, was refused. Not helpful or welcoming at all, poor service.

If you have a late flight and you need to use hotel facilities after checking out, make sure to bring your own body wash gel. Also don’t expect to have a bathroom with a functioning door lock.

The only positive about this place was probably being 8 minutes from the airport and that still doesn’t justify paying and arm and leg when you can go up 2 minutes from there and pay less than half the price.

Wouldn’t stay here again.

This is my 4th visit to this establishment. Very disappointed with my last stay. Don't be fooled by the comment from a year ago. The quality of service has greatly diminished. If you don't call the front desk to have them clean your room, they won't and even when you do call they don't necessarily come.

Extremely unpleasant staff, especially at reception and check-in. The General Manager was not very competent either, and several problems occurred, such as leaks from the bathroom faucet, dirty sheets and the balcony door not closing properly, making the stay very noisy.

And as compensation for any problems? 10% discount on next stay. Another GM would have offered an upgrade, free breakfast and also reimbursed at least one night's hotel stay, especially for a 5-night stay in a 5 star hotel. I will not return
