We spent 7 nights at this hotel, and we were very satisfied! I highly recommend this hotel because it has so many advantages and positives.
First of all, the location is incredibly beautiful, and you'll get to enjoy an amazing view every day that inspires and instantly lifts your mood.
The hotel offers many options for spending your time: golf, tennis, a gym, a yoga room, a great spa, and various beauty treatments. You definitely won't get bored here. There are two nice outdoor pools and one indoor pool, but the only downside is that the indoor pool had cold water 🥶.
The staff here is very friendly, always happy to see you, and they do their job well! We were pleased with how they interacted with us. Although we had an unpleasant situation when checking in because we had to wait a long time at reception, they compensated us for the inconvenience and upgraded our room. Special thanks for that.
As for the breakfast, there's a wide selection of food with calorie information provided, including gluten-free options, though the desserts were just average.
One evening, we purchased access to the dinner buffet. The food was also varied, but nothing special. The restaurant on the hotel grounds has a rather limited menu and nothing particularly interesting—3/5.
I would definitely come back to this hotel because I truly enjoyed my stay!

We regretted staying at the Hilton Mallorca Galatzo, and we are shocked that this is a Hilton branded 5-star property.
1. Our room was materially worse than the pictures on the website. Read the fine print!! We booked a King Guest Room, which lists a balcony as a feature. But then, later in the description, it says "enjoy views through floor-to-ceiling windows from your terrace/balcony." So, is it a balcony or a terrace? For us, it was a terrace built into the side of a hill -- no balcony, and a view of a big pile of dirt. The pictures show a tub -- but the fine print says tub OR shower. You get the idea...if the fine print lists multiple options, assume the worst. The TV was facing away from the bed, and was, quite literally, 3cm gaps leading directly outside), rather than sealing the gaps or using a stronger repellant. The minifridge was never addressed or fixed. When expressing that the room was well below our expectations, they said, and I quote "you're staying in Mallorca in August...sorry, but this is what you paid for." Also, "we're on a hill, so of course there will be bugs." No offer to comp part of our stay. No offer for room credit, or food/beverage credit. Spa 'fully booked' on three days, even for something as quick as a 10min eyebrow waxing. Food closures at random times -- no food from 11:00am-12:30pm, no food from 3:30pm-5:00pm, no food after 10:00pm. Never consistent. Careless management who could not give less of a crap about their guests.
Pros: Friendly bartenders and housekeeping staff. Nice views from top of hill. Easy to find parking.

It is a luxury hotel with beautiful views. In the rooms, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. This hotel has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Spa center, swimming pool on site, tennis courts, restaurants, everything corresponds to the high level of Hilton. The restaurant offers a delicious breakfast. The only minus in my opinion is expensive water, 4 euros for 330 ml is very expensive. A tennis player drinks 1.5 liters per workout, and a sane person would not spend 20 euros per hour.

We stayed for a week (Sep/Oct) and were really happy with our stay which was typical Hilton standard. The hotel is set on a hillside with stunning gardens and beautiful views to the sea. Although a little out of the way, it is very peaceful at night and we definitely preferred that to a more central location. We had a hire car which I would recommend for this hotel (they do have a twice daily shuttle bus and taxis arrive promptly though) and parking is free. The staff at reception were very helpful with any needs, and all the restaurant staff were also efficient and pleasant.
The adult only pool is a great area (there are 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pool) and we enjoyed tasty barrata salads, burgers and yaksobi noodles plus several of the cocktails on offer, for poolside lunch. We also ate and had cocktails at the other outdoor pool, which offered a different food menu but equally tasty food. We had breakfast in the hotel which is a wide selection (typical Hilton offerings) but dined out in evenings.
The room is typically equipped for Hilton; beach towels, steam press, shampoo/conditioner/body lotion etc. and the hairdryer even has a nozzle (ladies with frizzy hair will appreciate why this is a bonus!) and was spacious and comfortable. We made use of the diamond member benefits like late check-out, which were easy to arrange with the reception staff. The aircon was quiet and beds were super comfortable so we got a great sleep.
We very much enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay again.

It was a pleasure stay. The hotel is so big and spread over the hill that you feel like in a village! They got a separate area with swimming pool adults only that was just perfect! I put 4 stars because the buffet for the dinners was not always up to expectations with a lot of canned vegetables. Apart from that the service was excellent and the room just awesome. Highly recommended!

Good hotel, rooms are clean and the buildings are well situated. Not too far from the sea but far enough from the crowd and the horror beach building to have a peace rest (we like it). The restaurant should have an external terrace because it’s too much closed inside, get out for diner and lunch if you want fresh air. The gardens are well done, that’s nice ! You can play tennis (21€ extra 🙃). Stay a moment and relax 😎!

The cleaning lady accidentally took some of my clothes with the sheets and they got lost. I was told to get a refund by the reception and never heard back after my return. Also no answers to my emails.

We have enjoyed our 10 days stay at Maritim hotel Galatzo. The calm and safe area is definitely a trade up compared to some commercial party places like Santa Ponca or Magaluf. You can definitely relax and unwind here, if this is what you’re after. When hygiene and maintenance was good, we felt this hotel just misses the details to give it 5 stars. Starting with ala carte restaurant being closed, either because of season or COVID, and the quality of the buffet restaurant leaving you unimpressed, not sturdy bed, cupboard falling over. I just feel the hotel is a bit outdated, mainly catering for their largely german +60 audience. Allowing smoking in eating area and lack of recycling, not promoting walking distances to beaches and cities nearby, lack of gluten free options when dining. It misses a future direction and addressing the needs of the younger audience. The outside areas are beautiful with enjoyable views. For a hotel that advertises itself as a gastronomical hotel and luxurious feel they promise on social media, they just don’t cut it. We much more enjoyed dining in either Peguera, Santa Ponca, port Andtraxt or even Magaluf, which is not far either with rental car or taxi. This place definitely has a lot of potential and small improvements can determine its success in the future.

Nice hotel, needs a little bit of updating but rooms are large and revamped with fridges in rooms, great views and lay out, two nice pools always able to get beds and not to busy. Nice buffet breakfast but the bar & cocktails could be better.

This hotel deserves at most 3 stars. Spa hotel ??? Big joke ! 1 jaccuzi for nearly 500 people! In covid time, no cleaning, no monitoring, the sauna is ideal for catching covid +++. We had a voucher for a massage. As soon as we arrived, we were told that the next availability is in 2 weeks! Unable to make a commercial gesture after so many unrealized services, to run! A formula 1 hotel will be more appreciated!
