Hotel Altamadores

The hotel overall has been fantastic. Every meal has been spot on with a massive array to choose from. Any interaction with staff has been a positive one. The pools are spotless and the view of the beach and ocean are spectacular.

Drinks are self serve and surprisingly not as single drunken person has been seen.

My only points to not are that the rooms are a bit dated and the hotel is situated and the top of a massive hill which will take around 20 minutes to scale to get to the beach but the is a shop just outside the hotel. Would still definitely recommend.

Have been 3 times and fantastic Jamie’s entertainment is just fine not in your face enjoying every one food there is something fire everyone alcohol 24/7

What an incredible hotel! The staff can’t do enough for you, the rooms are exceptionally clean and the food has a great variety every day and always fresh! We have no faults at all, even looking at rebooking! Stunning sea views too which is an added bonus! Thank you Altamadores for a wonderful holiday xx

Lovely hotel. We had a junior suite with so much room. Restaurant had great selection of food. Bar area small but never had to queue for drinks. Nice pool and kids play area with pool. Gym not massive but good selection of equipment. On a steep hill but has amazing views over the bay. Would definitely go back.

Really lovely place. Great location with views of the beach.
Staff were brilliant in all areas, very attentive and friendly. Rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard.
The buffet food was fantastic, the best I've had as an all-inclusive option. Lots of options for all palates and the kitchen/waiting staff were great.
Rooms were basic, but had everything we needed with a spacious balcony and loungers.
Overall, we had a great holiday and would definitely return, something I never do!

Great atmosphere, good place for families with children

The rooms and showers are very good. The food is very good and varied. The cooks, waiters and reception are very nice and attentive. And I really liked the covid safety check. Hammocks were disinfected every time someone left and the pool's maximum capacity of 23 people was constantly monitored. We will be back!!

Wanted a last minute getaway after a rough year. Spent a few hours looking for something suitable and this was it. Board category: All Inclusive. Middle aged couple.

Mostly meals were excellent including 2 BBQ evenings. Plenty to eat & drink during our stay.

Hotel was quite empty (which suited us) don't think I would have enjoyed it full/really busy. There was no entertainment on site. No noisy revellers. Perfect.

The room we were in had a large terrace (I had requested an upstairs with a private balcony as I don't like to be disturbed by people above me) and to be as close to sea as possible. This is my only 'niggle' as 2 other people (holiday neighbours) who checked in same day as us had not made any special requests but were closer to the sea than us. I know special requests can't be guaranteed but mine could 100% have been accommodated as one guest was on same transfer & the other guest a couple of hours later.
Loved the kitchenette with fridge/freezer/microwave/toaster/cutlery/plates/kettle. We were on All Inclusive but so much available for self catering guest too. Loved our little holiday pet too. A little black and white cat we called "Billie" as she is like a cross between 2 of our cats Millie & Belle. I was happy with our room and more shade available than the upper room with balcony had.

Staff were delightful. Receptionists lovely Restaurant staff friendly & accommodating especially Karolyn. Room hostess left our room clean & tidy.

Just to be aware the hotel is very high up (in a no through road) so very little passing traffic but so steep we did not attempt to walk back from the beach. Taxis were regular - we paid around 4 euros with tip. Beach front a pretty cove

Much better than we could ever have hoped for. We booked a trip for the New Year and stumbled upon this hotel to escape the Swedish winter for a week. Upon arrival we were met by friendly staff in the reception before making our way to the room. We booked a two room apartment with terrace and it was perfect for our family of 4. The room was clean and well equipped, everything was in good condition and the beds comfortable. The hotel provided both bath and pool towels which meant we didn't need to unpack our own.

We booked all inclusive expecting to eat breakfast at the hotel and maybe a couple of dinners. The food provided was excellent with a big selection of meats, vegetables, salads and things for the kids. The dessert selection is great, don't expect to loose weight at this hotel. The restaurant staff were friendly and were happy to allow our kids to sit with the other children that they met on the trip. The breakfast had more than you could ever want to eat, with the option of ordering fresh omelets with fillings of our choice. The drinks selection was great and there was something for all of us, the beer was cold and tasted pretty good after a day in the sun. For the New Year celebrations the staff went all in to ensure the guests had a new year's eve feast and part to remember, honestly, it may have been one of the best New Year's celebrations I've been a part of.

There was entertainment provided each evening, most really entertaining, although the sleepy keyboard player could probably do with a vodka redbull.

The heated pool was more than big enough to cater for the amount of guests, there is a small kids pool and water play park with fountains too which is a nice touch, there are more than enough sun beds so getting a spot wasn't an issue. Tucked out of the way, but close enough for us parents to be in reach is a kids club room and football/basketball pitch which provided many hours of entertainment for our children and the large group of friends that they met at the hotel.

The hotel is close enough to walk to the beautiful beach yet for enough away to be peaceful. It's situated about 100m above sea level which give amazing views of the area and is a great place to watch the sun go down. The hotel catered mainly for Scandinavian guests (like my family) but also had a few British and Italian guests there, all were friendly and there were no issues with roundy football fans., etc...
There is a small shop situated next door which has drinks, snacks and hygiene products.

There is a gym at the hotel and the area is perfect for running, especially if you like hills.

This really is the perfect spot for a family holiday and we will be back.
