Mogan Princess & Beach Club

Despite paying all-inclusive, the carpark holds around 15 cars for 4000 rooms! I had to park a few times 1km away, and the hotel is at the top of a 30-degree hill! The rooms are tired and need of drastic renovation. There are loose tiles when walking on the terrace and stairs. The room block layout is appalling, needing several lifts and stairs to reach our room. The staff could be a little better versed in manners as it seems an effort for help.The food is mediocre at best! The last night of our stay, I returned the food. It was appalling and cold!

I'm sorry if this offends, but it is my opinion, and in no way warrants a 4 star rating! In fact, more in the lines of a strong 2 or maybe 3 star.

1.Very noisy ! Never stay in the rooms near the Elevator ! 🙈 You won’t sleep one minute there .
2.Very very very crowded!
3.Extremely loud In the diner hall - it’s Not possible to eat relaxed.
It was just overbooked and overfilled with too many people- what means that the Hotel wants to make only profit and doesn’t care for the well-being of guests.
4.To few parking places at the hotel!! It was a disaster to find a parking place. They make also with that money by selling you a private parking place for 20 eur per day :/ 🙈
5. Too far away from the beach, and high hill road way back . The Shuttle is not so offen and until not so late.
6. There was construction in the near.
+ 1. The only good thing there was the food and the variety of the food !
So at the international Standard I would rate the hotel max. as a 3 star hotel resort.

It’s a nice resort
However on site shop inadequate does not supply fresh milk. You are not given milk for your room so if like me you like a morning coffee when you wake you can’t have it unless you drink it black.
Unlike other resorts they do not offer free bottled water either unlike other resorts you have to pay for water although you’ve paid all inclusive does not apply to water. They have a vending machine where water cost €1.75.
All entertainment is in Spanish or Portuguese they do not cater for English speaking people
So unless you speak these languages
You can’t enjoy the entertainment during the day or evening shows.
The pool side fitness is also in Spanish
So we can’t enjoy that either.
The food however isn’t to bad at all it’s pretty good it’s what you’d expect from an all inclusive

This hotel is NOT a 4 star-hotel. I wouldn't give it more than 2 stars. It's OLD, not maintained properly, you can actually see how everything is falling apart - furniture, doors, bathroom etc.
There were so many annoying things while we stayed there and we literally wanted to leave on the second day already. Pillows were very uncomfy, we asked for new ones and the answer was "These are the only ones we have". There were no bed top sheets and covers (except for some nasty old blankets), we asked for duvet covers and the answer from the reception was "I'm sorry we're not like in Northern Europe". Seriously, what kind of an answer is that?! Hotels all around the world use soft duvet covers to provide comfort and luxurious stay for their guests but I guess this 4-star hotel doesn't know a thing about comfort.
The staff may be considered friendly in Spain, but I've been many places and this is not friendliness. They were visibly annoyed when asked about something.
The hotel is located up in the cliff, the road to get there is very steep. There are NO parking places available. And if you can't park your car in front of the hotel or close by, then you have to CLIMB UP that hill walking, which takes approx 15-20 min if you are in good shape. When you finally reach the hotel reception, prepare to take lots of stairs and elevators to get to your room, which might take you another 10 min.
There were never available lounge chairs at the pool. It was so crowded, it's impossible to relax. The beach Taurito is probably the worst on the whole island, and there is no shortcut to get there, you have to walk a lot. The closest nice beach is 10 km from the hotel.
Overall, the food was decent. However, there were very few things for breakfast and no vegetables whatsoever.
