Great hotel near the beach, easy to access anytime

Nice hotel but definitely not a true 5 star hotel, let down by poor gastronomy in its restaurant and 3 star breakfast. Coffee is terrible. Food service overall is not up to standard with both poor quality and poor options available. Staff lacked basic English speaking skills and for a 5 star hotel this is just not good enough. The ladies that checked me in were an absolutel gem. They made me laugh and were highly emotional. To.be honest, it was nice having someone make you smile and laugh. I would definitely come back again without hesitation.

Such a beautiful hotel!! We absolutely loved our time here. The pools and beach were clean, beautiful and relaxing. The food and drinks by the pool were exactly what we needed at the end of a stressful trip.

Laid back beautiful property. While it is summer in the USA, it was not considered summer season in early June while we were there. Low staff and some activities and pools not full hours. A decent hotel to spend some time in Almeria. However, it's quite far from the city centre and old town. Wi Fi is ok. AC was working well, too. There's a small pool, so it's better to come early, not later than 11 am. There's no gym unfortunately. The breakfast was the same during my week of stay, so at the end it was disappointing.

Nice hotel with parking, located at the top of the Avenida del Mediterraneo, a little far from the center but convenient for a stopover on the way to the highway and next to a large shopping center. The bedding is very comfortable, The staff is very friendly. No tea, coffee, infusion in the rooms, which would be a plus.

This is far from a 4 star hotel, the Rooms are old and look very “dusty”. The A/C is crazy, the level 1 fan works like the level 3, I bearly slept. The staff is nice and helpful. The restaurant near door is a really good one.

Visited Almeria for 3 days. The location perfect to see the sights and walk to the beach. The room was a good size and perfectly clean. The bed was large and comfortable. Air conditioning in the room was perfect very little sound and always a nice temperature. The staff were all very friendly and breakfast was excellent. We couldn't fault this hotel.

Nice hotel between the beach and the city. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Great helpful staff who can speak English. My only complaints would be that the beds are a bit hard and there are no balconies. The only outside common area is also a public access path from the train/bus stations.

It was an OK stay. Nicely located, near the bus station, with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. It was clean, the staff was helpful and nice. Wi-Fi is okay and the room was spacious. But the floor of the room was squeaky, and the walls are super thin, so you won't get a decent night of sleep. Also, the TV is super slow and the bed covers are strange... Excellent location, approx a 15min stroll to the beach and playa, also bus and rail station. Almeria city, one of the less over crowded places to wonder around in Spain in the cooler times of the day and year, with a wide and varied selection of shops etc, and great tapas bar.

Everything was great, good service, and there's always someone at reception. I didn't try the food, so I don't know how it was. The only drawback I can find is that there's a sign in the elevator that says there are vending machines on the first floor, but when I went, there weren't any. Overall, everything was perfect.

It has been a nice accomodation, the place was comfortable, and the room as well. It had a very useful shared kitchen and a balcony. It is closed to the city center and close to the supermarket, so very good location. Only negative thing was the toilet, the pipes were a bit locked so the water of the sink struggled to flow and it created a bad smell.

Was hard pushed to give 4 stars. Hard to find . Difficult to navigate. Let's be honest, my room was on the second floor(no lift) large heavy suitcase, dragged it up the stairs...😱😱😱 but was very surprised with a smart, no-nonsense room.. if you want to be in the center of it, stay here. Word of warning, there is no central heating, and it can be a little cold in the winter months.

It was located in the historic center of the city and near the main avenues and restaurants so everything was within walking distance.

Check in was with the sister hotel across the road. My main gripe was that the bathroom door wouldn't shut, due to the carpet/tile connector thing. It would never have shut. Goodness knows why this isnt a known problem. The reason for shuttingbthe door was to keep the street noise out.

Excellent clean and tidy hotel. Daughter left her purse in the room on check out. Purse was returned with everything intact by the hotel staff. Very good service and excellent caring staff. Breakfast in the downstairs eatery was also good.

We loved this hotel. It’s an oasis in an area which is currently being developed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was stylishly decorated and furnished and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We opted for the breakfast which was delicious and just what we needed. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Almería.

Once we maneuvered the near city streets we arrived to the front, there is a small area to stop a car for a few minutes, but parking was down the street. The was the only negative I could say. Pleasant place Everything was great. Situated right next to the Cathedral in center. Parking was a problem but there was a garage close. Roof bar was great overlooking the Cathedral and square lots of great restaurants nearby.

Lovely hotel in centre of old town Almeria Beautiful hotel right in the centre of Almeria. Room was lovely, tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff all very welcoming. I was only 1 night for business but enjoyed my stay.

This property exceeded our expectations as far as the staff, the room, and the VIEW! We would definitely return. We took advantage of the ancient baths and massage option. I would skip the massage. Even when I asked for more pressure, it felt like someone was just gently rubbing way too much oil all over me. No massage involved unfortunately.

Almeria Lovely hotel, baths and massage amazing. Small sunbathing area with warm plunge pool but had no problem getting a sunbed. Beautiful old hotel I enjoyed my stay but I almost rated the hotel a 4 due to internet service came and went. The room was a mini suite and had lots of room. I had the ability to have doors open to square although under construction. I did like how they used an old building and made it comfortable.

The location is great. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast croissants and orange jam are amazing. It's inconvenient that there are no trash cans in the room or bathroom. It's a shame that there's a lot of dust under the bed.

Hi there, this is a great hotel but its miles from anywhere. You cant walk on the main road there are no pavements and it is dangerous. Its manily spanish there , while we stayed there for ten nights met only one english couple.

I would give them higher score, if not the fact that the hotel allows you to smoke literally everywhere. Assuming it's family oriented hotel, has plenty of kids and people that actually not smoking, would be nice to designate some areas for smoking and ban some in all. It's just unbearable at times. My issue with this hotel is the lack of no-smoking areas as in none what so ever, and being a non smoker I don't understand why I have to be forced to sit with smokers whilst enjoying the entertainment outside and have to inhale the cigarette smoke. The view is utterly resplendent; second to none. The rooms are relatively luxurious and there is also a small private beach by the hotel. None the less, I feel that the rooms are not capacious enough and perhaps the service could be improved slightly.
