Just had a short break there for 4 days. It's definitely worth spending that bit extra on the premium rooms, you have exclusive access to the roof pool, gets the sun all day. Was happy with the mostly positive reviews on booking. The hotel did not disappoint we were in studio 1302 which had a lovely view of the pool. Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Pool was ideal for the kids, we did SC so can't comment on the different options each night, but we did order a pizza and it was gorgeous! Just finished our holiday at punta del mar, absolutely loved every minute of it. Was an absolute pleasure to come to. Food & drinks were good, rooms clean and very spacious. Don't believe all the negative reviews I had a fantastic week at this hotel. Of course there was sunbed wars that happens everywhere but I always managed to find a place to sit. The room was clean and beds comfortable, never run out of hot water when taking a shower which has happened to me before in other hotels. Nice hotel apartments - went with a family of 5 in late September. There is a kids splash pool and a main pool. There is a bar with snacks / simple meals. The local square is a few mins walk and there is a lovely beach 10m drive away. When I got here I thought it was going to be bad because of their layout but it was about 4am when I got to their room they left us a salad and a roll . Just stayed with my children Wednesday-Sunday, views from balcony are beautiful, supermarket directly opposite, not much entertainment however the vibe I got staying here is people use this as a base to sunbathe in the day an sleep (or not sleep ) at night. We booked a 3 night get away at this hotel, for the price I did expect better. Breakfast is very mediocre, not much choice, coffee machine also wasn’t working properly. Hotel is spotless. Food is good with something for everyone. The pool area is the quietest I have ever seen at a hotel at the height of season. You can basically walk in and get a lounger no problem. Would definitely come back

Just returned from 10 days holidaying at Hotel Golf Beach for the 13th time. Cannot praise staff enough, basic but a friendlier hotel would be hard to find. A great base for visiting Santa Ponsa. Rooms are basic (no air con) but they're amongst the cheapest in the area. 3 min walk to the beach, 2 min walk to all the local shops / restaurants. A bar downstairs that serves food, open till late. We will return.

Jumping into the sea and the music at night was great!

Overall it was a pleasant stay but a few things could have been improved on. Our room smelt of blocked drain (third floor). Robin, a brand new member of staff, did not help me with my bags (two backpacks, full duty free bag and a wheel case) when I was clearly heavily pregnant and clearly struggling to juggle all of the bags. We booked a suite with a hot tub and terrace with sea view. The terrace was great but there were many ants coming through the patio door. We notified staff and they sent someone to clean it.
