Hotel LIVVO Lago & Aquapark

Have just got home from a week stay here with my husband and 2 children aged 2 and 11, we did have a nice time and made some good memories but we will not be returning. I would give this hotel a 2.5 star, the hotel lobby had cockcroaches, we even had some in our room in the wardrobes. We were in a single family room which for the 4 of us was cramped. We requested a cot for our 2 year old which was not available so she had to sleep inbetween me and my husband. The food to be fair we could not fault, yes repetative but we never went hungry. During the day the only bar that was open was next to the pool and the other 2 bars only opened in the evening. The waterpark has some amazing rides which my 11 year liked but the water in the park is salt water. The water was burning our eyes even with the kids wearing goggles and give my son a sore throat. My 2 year old got some water in her mouth which actually made her vomit in the water park. We only went to the waterpark 1 day out of the week as my son didnt want to go back due to the salt water. We mainly used the pool within the hotel which was much better water but for the size of the hotel we found the pool was too small. Was too busy around and within the pool to fully enjoy it. Around the pool was slippery, kids and adults was slipping over. One child slipped right in front of me getting out of the pool and hit his head on the floor. Evening entertainment was ok, my 2 year old loved the kids disco which started at 8pm and then at 9pm was a evening show. The area around the entertainment stage needs some work, it is on decking which needs some tlc. Some of the planks are lose and raised which caused some children who were running around to trip over. My 2 year old did this multiple times and cut her knee. Around the entertainment area is amusement arcades, which my 11 year old loved. He made some friends so went off with them and only came back when he ran out of money to ask for some more. My advise, take lots of spending money! Around the complex is lots of shops, we did use the shops to buy bits and bobs but my advice again is take lots of money as the prices are crazy! We were on floor 2 which is ground level with the sunbed area so we didnt have a balcony, we had a open patio area which went straight out onto the sunbed area. In terms of using the lifts this was good as we used the stairs and carried the buggy up and down as the lifts took forever. In terms of safety, we personally didnt like this as felt too open for our 2 year old. However others we spoke too loved it, as it ment they could just walk off their patio. I suppose personal feelings on that. Overall we did have a nice holiday, but with a little bit of work and tlc to the hotel it could of been much better. Had the waterpark been chlorine too, we would of gone to the waterpark every day over the small hotel pool. If you are used to salt water swimming then you will be fine in it. A fantastic location but a very old and tired hotel, we had cockroach in our room on two occasions both during the day on 7th floor both 1 inch in sizeI cant imagine what it wouldbe like at night 🤯. Both came from the wardrobe behind bathroom access panels. The pool is too small and always busy and I refuse to put towels out as I think that's unfair but the hotel do nothing to stop it. The food was ok on a few days but the majority of the time it was bad, cold or undercooked. Lacked flavour and risks of contamination was there. The all inclusive bars lacked basics like glasses 🥂 and felt cheap. The waterpark was the best bit of the holiday. We did enjoy the holiday but next time we will choose a better hotel 🏨

Great location, but missing the basics Stayed as 3 families in July 2025. Beautiful beachside setting, but the resort fell short on key comforts. 👍 What we liked: Fantastic beach access Spacious family rooms but only if family of 5+ Resort cats were a big hit with the kids 👎 What needs improvement: Food: Repetitive, reused at lunch and dinner, and flies on the buffet were a big turn-off Drinks: All served in paper cups, including wine (undrinkable) and cocktails Waterpark: Strong salt/chemical mix stung eyes and throats—kids refused to go back Kids’ club: No crafts or play area; staff seemed disinterested, and kids picked up on it so didn’t return. No clear info on daily activities. Activities: Poorly organised with long queues—kids often gave up and returned before getting a turn. Animation team not engaged with kids. Entertainment area: Picnic benches only, limited seating, shared space—not secure for younger kids Pool: Too small for the size of the hotel; chaotic adult water polo games made it unsafe for children Parasols: Very few—not enough parasols for the number of guests. felt bad taking enough parasols to shade our family as there wasn’t enough to go around so someone always got burnt! Rationing parasols on holiday …! Cleanliness: Dirty curtains, towels not replaced on a few days, had to request bed sheets to sleep under multiple times. Basic requirements Noise: Tree cutting and shouting construction workers at 7am wake-ups daily Extras: Lots of paid distractions—arcade, trampoline, shops—kids constantly asking for money Supermarket: card charged too much twice - check your receipts Bar: Long queues for drinks every evening—not enough staff for guest numbers Rooms: our room was spacious but our friends a family of 4 were squeezed into 1 small room. ⚠️ Tips for future travellers: Bring bottled water, a parasol, earplugs, and a good sense of humour. Maybe even your own wine…. Oh and a wine glass.

Shocking. Restaurant is shambles. Only breakfast is good. Although the eggs in liquid is just no. And there is no has browns and pancakes. The water park is salt water and not just regular salt water. It’s really salty. I had a sore throat from it. The main pool is chlorine (thankfully) but it is very small considering the amount of people who go there because of salt water park.
