Great location, great size hotel,.inconsistent with prices in the bar. I would like the bar to open earlier than 10.30. The pool water was often dirty looking - even in the morning the water did not look clean, I never saw it being cleaned on our stay for 10 days which was a pity as it stopped us from going there. The hotels bathroom products were AMAZING, unfortunately they did not sell them. The fragrance they had in the reception and hallway was amazing - I want it in my home! Great stay overall and would return if the pool was cleaner

The staff were all very helpful and courteous at all times.
The rooms were very nice, a large bathroom with Eight and Bob products, which was a real bonus.
Breakfast had a vast amount of cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, and pastries and was displayed very well. Two nespresso coffee machines mean you can make a coffee to your liking. Although a chef was on hand to make any egg dish you wanted, I found the other hot items to be very disappointing.
We chose this hotel because of the swimming pool. Do not be fooled by the picture on their website. The pool was full at all times of the day, so we never did go in. We were hoping for an early morning swim when, hopefully, it would have been empty, but it doesn't open till 9 am.
There is a bus stop just outside the hotel so it is easy to get around and go to the beach.
If you don't want or need a swimming pool, then this hotel is lovely.
A nice touch is a sun hat for every guest in the room.

Loved it. It felt luxurious, but affordable. Big rooms, very nice breakfast. The room was large and had a/c, had coffee maker, robe, slippers and sunhats. The location is not in the old town, but within walking distance. It's near a nice park as well.

A really nice hotel, location is perfect right on the Park and close to the old town and the arts & science center. The Bed was the most comfortable bed I think I’ve ever slept in.
The staff were so helpful for everything and when we had a small issue they fixed it immediately. All the staff speak perfect English too. The Gym is small but has good equipment.
My only negatives are the pool is not great (but most hotels in Valencia don’t even have a pool) so can’t really complain. The other was the set menu for lunch was a bit strange and a bit gourmet when all you want is a sandwich, a lot of people walked out when they realized they had no options.
All in all a great Hotel and would happily stay there again.

The lobby looks much better than the rooms. I stayed in a Junior Suite that probably saw better days. The carpet was stained and the furniture clearly showed signs of time. From a 5 stars hotel suite, I expect way more.

BED BUGS!!!!
Our first night in the room we had bed bugs. We weren't sure that they were bed bugs until just now, and we now have to fumigate everything in our house! They moved us to a different, room that night, and a JR suite our very last night. We didn't care about the room. We simply wanted to be compensated for the one night stay in the room with the bed bugs. The assistant manager instead offered us a free coffee! (That you can get for 1€ in town or free at breakfast) then she said on our next stay they can upgrade our room. But when we emailed her about the offer she did not get back to us... i emailed her again and my email has now been BLOCKED. Find a new hotel. This one's *INFESTED*!!!

Thriller Night at SH Valencia Palace
A completely naked man stumbled into our room at 3 am in this supposed 5-star hotel. After the initial shock, we called security, who arrived within minutes and removed the intruder. But what truly baffles us is the complete lack of follow-up. No apology, not even a courtesy visit from the manager. This is the kind of service you expect from a roadside motel, not a 5-star establishment.

Wonderful and luxurious hotel in Valencia, perfect for a quick getaway or a longer trip. Service is awesome, all the staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean, and with nice details that set this hotel apart from others. There's a small gym and an indoor pool. Breakfast is also great, providing a wide range of dishes and also gluten free options.

To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed. For a five star hotel, I was expecting a bit more. Our bathroom had hair in the floor that didn’t belong to us, and our bidet plug did not work. Some of the staff was wonderful, but some seemed pretty indifferent. We also grabbed a sandwich in the bar. It was a 12 Euro ham and cheese sandwich, and it was pretty terrible. Next time we come to Valencia, we will try somewhere else.
