Hotel Villacarlos

Nice clean hotel with nice staff and good breakfast. Good wifi. Quite comfortable bed. About halfway between the historic center and the city of arts and sciences.

The hotel is good. The location is not in the city center, but in a nice, clean, cozy area. It is a 15-minute walk from the hotel to a wonderful place in Valencia - the City of Arts and Sciences, which is definitely worth visiting. It is a 15-minute walk to the metro along a wonderful park area (the metro has a direct line to the airport). It takes about 35-40 minutes to walk to the city center (old town) and to the train station along a very pleasant route (or by transport). The hotel itself is clean, has everything you need. 24-hour reception. Stable Internet. The room has all sorts of useful little things, such as shampoos, brushes, a razor and a shower cap. The renovation (design) in the hotel is starting to get a little outdated, but when everything is clean and comfortable, high-tech is not always absolutely necessary. There is one drawback - there is a not very good smell from the pipes in the bathroom (the technical staff should pay attention to this). But in general, the hotel is good, quiet and inexpensive.

Great hotel on a perfect location in the city. Everyone who worked there and that we met was so friendly. We had a very nice room on the top floor with a terrace. Although the room is a bit outdated, everything you need is there. You walk right into the city center and the beach is only 15 minutes away by bike. Breakfast is simple but again it has everything you need and is replenished until te end. We’ve really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent staff. Room very clean and all amenities. Perfect location from the center and even closer from ciudad de las artes. A bit noisy on the side of the street.

The hotel staff were great, came here as me and my partner are Valencia CF fans and visit every year to watch a match and soak up the culture. Rooms were clean and tidy, hotel staff were fantastic and really helpful. And the location is only a 15 minute walk from the stadium. Loads of great bars nearby also.

Excellent hotel! Only thing, no many good restaurants, cafe stores around. Public transportation to move around the most important city attractions.
