UNITY Apart-hotel

All in all, not bad! We stayed here for two months and got a pretty good deal by booking far in advance. Rooms were spotless, coworking space was great and the gym was adequate. It’s in a chic, recently-developed area of town with solid access to downtown. The problems we had were with the rooms, which are simply not comfortable. Chairs are hard, couch has no back support, and the beds have no support. I had to buy a mattress cover to sleep well. The rooms are also very small unless you splurge, but the upgraded rooms have a lot of street noise. Customer service was generally wonderful: the people working there are kind and generous.

Rooms had a great set-up. Everything is well designed. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, safe and easily accessed by the #9 tram. Please note that this is not a hotel. Rooms are considered apartments. Therefore no daily cleaning services. Only one a week. Asked for an extra pillow and had to pay 5 euros per item ...
The sauna is the best kept secret. Large, comfortable, with a view, and always empty. Can enjoy it to yourself 😄

There seems to be everything you need to cook even if I went outside to eat.

Stayed here for a month whilst visiting friends and family in Helsinki. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, approachable and helpful. It is very accessible with the #9/9b trams and is also a short 10-15 min walk to the tallink / eckero terminal. It is walkable into town as much of Helsinki is. There is a 24 hr Alepa just down the road, a kioski even closer, and a Lidl 8 mins walk away. Rouholahti and a 24 CityMarket and Alko a short walk away as well. There are plenty of food options around. The unit was spacious, new and clean and the sauna was a bonus with split times for men and women.The miele laundry downstairs was cheap imho. 2.50EUR a wash and 1.50EUR for drying using the miele app. The wifi also was strong and I was up high in a far corner....I had no problems at all. I'd stay again.

I spent over four months here and wholeheartedly recommend it! The 24/7 reception is outstanding - the ladies were friendly and exceptional. The hotel features practical, clean, and modern rooms with excellent soundproofing. Amenities include a small gym, sauna, business hub (available for an additional fee), and a basement laundromat (also for an additional fee). Breakfast, coffee, drinks, and snacks are available at the reception for an extra charge, and the Wi-Fi is strong throughout the hotel.

The rooms are well-equipped, featuring most of the essentials: a kitchenette with a small fridge, induction hob, and microwave, as well as a TV, sofa, small table, some cupboards, and a bathroom with a WC, large shower, and sink. However, it's worth noting that the rooms lack an iron and ironing board (a shared one is available in the laundromat) and cleaning equipment like a vacuum or broom. As per other reviews, cleaning is done once a week and could be better, doesn't really reflect the rest of the services. These were the only items missing & challenges that prevented a perfect five-star experience.

The location is a bit removed from the city center (about a 25-30 minute walk), but I found it ideal. The neighborhood is peaceful, with nice restaurants and a large supermarket 10-15 minutes away. You can also have groceries delivered through Wolt.

Winter prices were great and well worth it (a little over 1k per month), but unfortunately, they become less attractive as summer approaches.

Stayed with UNITY for 5 days. Rooms are not cleaned daily (totally fine for me), but are perfectly clean upon arrival.

Beds were good, rooms very quiet, hotel-employees super helpful and friendly. You can also get the room key in an app - very cool.

The free umbrella rental is an awesome plus as well. Aparments are also fitted with a fully working kitchen and a nice terrace.

Very nice apartments even for short stays! Best hotel on my whole trip the rooms are amazing for the price. Just the soap/shower gel was empty after a few days because they weren't full enough and some hair in the shower

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel boasts a captivating design, and the comfort of the beds made for a relaxing stay. The inclusion of a small kitchen and a TV in the room added a convenient touch to the accommodations.

One of the highlights was the stunning bay view from our room – it truly added a special touch to the stay. On the top floor, guests can enjoy a sauna and bar, which were all well-maintained and provided a great way to unwind. A gym is also available.
The customer service at Unity Hotel was exceptional. The staff's attentiveness and willingness to assist made the stay even more enjoyable.

However, the one letdown was the breakfast. While the rest of the amenities were excellent, the breakfast options were somewhat disappointing. The limited variety of a sandwich, croissant, or muffin, along with yogurt and granola, became repetitive each day. The coffee offered was also subpar.

In summary, Unity Hotel offers a wonderful stay with its impressive design, comfortable amenities, and remarkable customer service. The only area that could use improvement is the breakfast selection, as it fell short of the otherwise impeccable experience.

Easy check in - checked in with the app - and spacious room with a refrigerator, a small hob, dishes, utensils and a dishwasher. Room was clean, sofa was comfortable to sleep on it. Also, smart TV. Location was good, it's located at the outskirt of the city but there is a tram stop just around the corner. All in all I would definitely come back when I'm next in Helsinki.
