Arctic Light Hotel

We love our stay here, the room was really pretty, I just find some hair (not mine) on the pillows so I’ll recommend have a better look at the room cleaning, other wise it was really nice. The location is perfect at the city center and everything is walking distance. If you’re here on winter check out the river close to the hotel! You might see some pretty northern lights at night

Lovely hotel in a great location! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and assisted us with luggage storage, snow sleds for the children and a packed breakfast when we had an early morning tour. Highly reccommend this hotel!

Wife, I and grand-daughter just returned; 1-6/January 2025.
The hotel is very nice. The service, front desk personnel, and location the best. The restaurant and breakfast buffet top notch.
Maybe **** for Europe. but no way a four star hotel for the states. The room was way too small. I think I booked this room a year ago and could only get two twin beds. We squished together the two beds so the eight year old could sleep in the crack between the two beds. The room had no dresser draws or night stand tables. There was no where to put your cloths or unpack your suitcases. Not even a spot for a book or reading glasses. We were lucky to use the bathroom at night without getting killed navigating around the suitcases on the floor. I think I paid five hundred dollars a night. So I don't think I got the cheapest room in the place. Maybe because I booked it through a tour we got the worse room in the hotel or just got screwed.

Incredible stay at this hotel right in the centre of Rovaniemi. The staff couldn’t be more helpful - huge props to both Duty Managers Antonio in particular - who went above and beyond. Super kid friendly, lovely food, wonderful cocktails and the delights of Lapland on your doorstep. Highly recommend!

The service at this hotel is truly exceptional! Every staff member is nice and professional, making me feel at home throughout my stay. Mark from the reception is always so helpful and friendly. He is so patient with all kind of questions. Really appreciate it. The breakfast is good as well, simple but delicious. I highly recommend this hotel. It is definitely a good place to stay in Rovaniemi.

An all around fantastic experience here. The location provided easy access to the city centre, and was right next to a bus stop that brought us to santa claus village. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a cozy yet modern aesthetic. Accessibility to hotel services was made easier by an app that allowed room service, towels etc. to be ordered directly.

Our stay was made significantly better by the hotel staff, who consistently demonstrated exemplary service. Mark in particular was exceptional. He checked us in on the first day and greeted us each time we met him in the lobby. He was friendly and always proactive in trying to find ways to improve our stay. It helped us quickly settle in to the hotel and rest assured that any concerns would be quickly addressed.

The Artic Light Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The service was great from the moment we secured rooms. I believe the woman who found us rooms name was either Caren or Paalan. She was fabulous. Our accommodations in Rovaniemi fell through so we were without a place to stay upon arriving in Rovaniemi. She toured us through the available rooms allowing us to choose which rooms would be best for us. Really fabulous. Waldermar who works in the bar/restaurant was always at the ready with our favorite wine. He remembered what we liked and took such good care of us. There was also another woman who is from Greece who took good care of us when we ate at the Artic Light Restaurant. The wine we wanted was not available but she brought 2 other choices and was able to explain them in detail. Every single staff member was super professional and friendly. Going out of their way to make our 10 day stay perfect. Housekeeping was also very good. The restaurant in the hotel serves traditional Finish food. Hats off to the chef. The food was always delicious. The breakfast buffet is also spectacular. Run don't walk to stay at this lovely hotel.

The hotel delivers a good experience for my stay.  Staff at the front desk was so helpful and informative and extremely friendly. Staff provided useful information for visiting Rovaniemi - bus route, map, etc.

Hotel has modern design with 4 floors and is located near the bus stops to and from Santa Claus Village.  Room was large enough with comfortable bed. Free 30-min sauna is offered to guests. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Overall, Great boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and large room. Good breakfast. Good private sauna.

We had an amazing experience at the Arctic Light hotel. Max at the front desk was so helpful and informative and extremely friendly. He made sure to go out of his way to make us comfortable and helped us figure out where to eat and what to see while in the area. Waldemere at the bar was entering and friendly! We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent had the breakfast the next morning and again it was excellent.
Great place to stay excellent environment very cozy and comfortable. Fabulous staff!
