Crucially a user freirndly lux hotel would highly recommend and would be my only choice agsin🥂
The view and location are good.
Especially the Junior Suite is still very dark, minimal furnished and at the price point a little disappointing. We have stayed at another 5* Hotel in town and would go back to that Hotel, since it was half the price, but with newer rooms.
We have travelled with a baby and needed USBC charging outlets and dimmed lights etc. none of that was available. The food at the Hotelrestaurant was unfortunately not good (Club Sandwich, Chicken). Breakfast was good!
Service is very good and all of the staff really did their absolute best to make our stay effortless and nice! Thank you!
All in all: The price is not justifying the old Hotel and its 2001 furniture-style.
My only complaint was that the air-conditioning was not working properly. It was quite hot in Marseille that weekend n the hotel was not able to reduce the temperature of the rooms. As I am of a certain age, I struggle with my own internal furnace. In spite of raising the matter with reception, nothing really was done to rectify the issue. This affected my sleep n my overall experience at the hotel. It was an expensive sleep deprived stay.
The breakfast is rich and it feels comfortable to eat on the large terrace.
In short, except for the price, there is nothing wrong with it.
