Stayed here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago on a trip through the city. The room was exactly what we needed - clean, well put together, very comfy bed, and comfortable private bathroom. We found the staff to be very kind and accommodating, and the location was nicely off the beaten path, but very close to the main center of town. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, 10/10 stay!

We had 2 large suitcases, no porter, no lift to get up 2 flights of a very narrow and precarious spiral staircase. Nothing in the room ... no complementary water, tea or coffee either.

Perfectly situated, comfortable and clean rooms and very friendly and efficient staff. A late check in was arranged before we arrived and the map provided at the front desk was such a help!

The owner, Benjamin, was very gracious and helpful. He arranged our train tickets from Bordeaux back to Paris and arranged for taxi service as well which made our last day much less stressful. Breakfast was good; the best bread and croissant I had in France. The room was very clean, the products to wash with were high quality and the place was quiet. It is modern and chic and "real", as we say in the US. The location was great as well: it's in the Saint Seurin neighborhood which is central to everywhere and especially to the tram line which was cheap, fast and efficient (if crowded, because it works!) The closest restaurants including Ze and The Grand Cafe were reasonable and wonderful. There is a small market a couple hundred yards away as well as a laundromat. I recommend to people with any mobility issues to request one of two rooms on the first floor. While the rooms may be small, what room isn't in France that's under $500 Euro a night? I went to Amsterdam years ago (my first Europe trip) and remember calling the front desk whining" Isn't there a bigger room?" It still makes me laugh...
The support staff was friendly, all spoke English and I can't say how gracious they were to us again. I highly recommend this hotel. We loved Bordeaux and will definitely go back if we can. Thank you Benjamin and staff for a wonderful stay and a feeling of comfort and caring.

2 nights in this hotel in July 2016. 2 sleepless nights...
Our room next to the road does not match the pictures on the website of the hotel and more, the street is not the bandwidth but the neighbours of the hotel are foul! 2 nights where the noise (screaming, music, songs,...) to fall asleep at 7 am for a wake up at 8am... On a vacation that you put the nerves.
In addition the breakfast is not up to scratch and worthy of a hotel.
The staff is nice, the boss in the morning prevents us to ask how this passed our nights in his establishment, no doubt because he had already taken up the reflections of other holiday makers about the noise at night, we made no gesture trade, I think we offer a breakfast was the least, especially considering the quality of the breakfast, it should not be too much to impute the cash flow of the hotel. For 160 euros per night, the hotel is clearly not at the height of its rates, at least for the rooms on side streets.
Positive Point, nevertheless: friendly staff, cleanliness of discipline and geographic location.

Small hotel, near the centre of Bordeaux. The room was spacious and the reception was open till midnight. The hotel has no bar or restaurant, but plenty of places in the neigbhorhood. The breakfast was fresh and offered a good selection. Had a great stay.

Room is too small. Shower space is extremely tight. There is the no lift access and we had to climb the narrow staircase with the luggage. Hotel has no carpark and we had to park in a shopping mall car park.

The hotel staff, especially Marie are exceptional. However, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. The rooms require sideways movement. There is no closet, only a small indent with 5 hangers. The shower had only a wand because it is too small for a shower head. No mini-frig. A desk that was only 6 inches wider than my laptop. But worse, no lift and you must use the most dangerous stairs I have ever seen. If you want to carry your luggage up these stairs, well bonne chance. Very difficult to get a taxi or to access transportation.

A true boutique hotel in a very nice part of town. Service was excellent and the room had a nice modern look. Highly recommend.
