As we were attending 'Le Cid' representation at the nearby 'Théâtre des Feuillants', we decided to book a night at the Vertigo Hotel in centre Dijon.
The hotel is well located and surrounded with places to visit and good restaurants to indulge yourself.
We used the hotel's carpark and no specific issue to get our SUV parked there.
The hotel staff is dedicated and looking after your needs, special mention to the bartender.
Otherwise, the hotel was refurbished with a design attempt, but the room are definitively too small.
We even had to ask for a change, as in the first one, the small bed was absolutely a no way for us to sleep together in!
We liked the bar atmosphere, you can even find a cigar lounge, but do not expect a great selection from the cigar cave...
I'll recommend this hotel for a short stay in Dijon.

I was hesitant to stay in this hotel based on recent reviews, however, everything about our stay was great! The location is prime, the hotel is unique, staff were helpful and the room was more spacious than expected for 4 people. Highly recommend!

This was our second one-night stay at Vertigo, stopping at Dijon on our way to Marseilles to catch the ferry to Corsica. The design is exquisite and funky, with glass everywhere and the latest tech in the rooms - love the waterfall taps. The bar doubles as a breakfast room and has a good selection of drinks and a lovely breakfast, served in tiny ironware pots. Parking is simple, once you know how to get into it. Our only small complaint was that the cigar room was soooo hot, we couldn't enjoy our planned nightcap there, and the staff just shrugged when we told them the aircon was set to 30 degrees and we couldn't seem to change it! Overall, though, this is a lovely hotel, with good access to the town and all the restaurants and bars.

I wanted to write 2 separate reviews for hotel and spa and give hotel 5 stars and spa 1. Hotel is really good and I don't have complaints about it but spa experience was terrible. It was by far the worst massage that I had in my life, even though some of them was in cheap places. The only reason I stayed till the end was my husband (we had a couples massage) and I didn't want to ruin that experience for him.

We loved our stay here! The staff was kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious and the wellness area was a wonderful treat! We also really liked the location as it was walking distance to all we wanted to see.
