It’s a 3 star hotel, good value for money. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable to 3star standard. Bathroom good also. Shame just one tea bag each, nothing else. Location fab for everything.

Room was nice and cosy, I had a very good sleep. Breakfast was lovely too. The lady noticed that I really liked drinking the milk they had so she refilled my glass more than once even when breakfast session was about to end. The hotel is at a super duper convenient location. I managed to visit all the attractions I wanted to visit by walking. I’m really glad that I picked Hotel Chagnot.

Clean hotel, good reception. We had to use the ironing board which was very tiny. I would advise getting something of a normal size, because the iron looks like a toy and also irons like a toy.

Had a really nice stay for Braderie weekend. Well worth buying breakfast and starting your day with the amazing view over the square. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No problem at all.

The service was very good, but the room didn't have an air conditioner, only a fan. It wasn't too hot, which was good, but it was sometimes uncomfortable during the day or when sleeping.

The rooms are somewhat reminiscent of Ibis Budget hotels, nothing special, but perfectly sufficient for a night’s stay!
The staff, on the other hand, are very friendly and helpful!
Breakfast, include the awesome rooftop terrace is an absolute highlight! Especially in the morning sunshine, it feels very idyllic. There’s a good selection of typical French breakfast items. The scrambled eggs I wouldn’t really recommend (classic carton-style eggs), but the salami and jams more than make up for it!
The location is excellent: about a 10-minute walk to Lille Europe station and just 1 minutes across the street from Lille Flandres.
If I ever come back to Lille, I’d happily stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff for this non-French speaking traveler. Room and bathroom is very small, but is very modern, in good condition, clean, and has all the ammenities you need. Lights, lots of electrical outlets, tea kettle, instant coffee, tea bags, and sugar, fan, coat hangers, etc.
My room had a great view of the busy city below. Double glazed windows kept out most of the noise, but if you are a light sleeper, you might want a room that does not face the street, or a different hotel.
There are dozens of restaurants and shops within a few hundred metres of the hotel. And of course, Eurostar Lille station is a 5 minute walk away.

This hotel is perfectly located, especially If you travel here by train / bus. Everything is in walkable distance from here. Staff was always kind and cheerfull. Room was clean and they replenished coffee and tea daily. Also changed towels, emptied bin and made our bed daily. Prices were favorable in comparison with other hotels nearby. We stayed for 5 nights and were mostly happy. Doublebed room is quite tiny and there is no much room for clothes and other stuff. Also the bed itself is quite a bit narrower than we would like, as me and my wife were often bumping in to each other in sleep. Also fridge would be nice. But those are mostly nitpicks and I would fully recommend stay in this hotel to everyone. Cheers

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It's super centrally located, next to the train station and Euralille. Parking is easy there, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived on a very hot day, as the hotel doesn't have air conditioning. We were given a fan, though. Beautiful view from the top floor.
