The last straw was when the male staff, without knocking, entered our room with his access card. Amazing experience all within ten minutes of arriving.

Average. The entrance is dark, dirty and hidden. The room is small and lack facilities

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional Staff Behaviour

I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience on the early morning of the 26th of April. The staff member in the morning shift was shockingly rude. He spoke to us in a raised voice, creating an unnecessarily hostile atmosphere.

As we arrived early after a long journey, we were very desperate for a toilet at that time. He gave us the code "123" to access the door which didn’t work. When we asked again, he claimed there was no toilet available. Then we had to rush to the train station to find one.

Later, we spoke to another staff member from a different shift who informed us that the correct code was actually "1234" something that all staff are aware of. It became clear that the morning shift staff member had deliberately misled us, which was not only unacceptable but also deeply humiliating.

The way we were treated was utterly disgraceful and left a lasting negative impression. It’s disappointing to see paying customers treated with such disrespect.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL YOUR THINGS WILL BE STOLEN.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights at the start of the month. I used to live in Lille and was back visiting friends and we just wanted a low budget city centre hotel so this seemed ok. First impressions were a very basic room and clean so we didn’t mind, was worth what we paid. The only valuable I had on me was my beats headphones as we only had hand luggage and we thought nothing of it when leaving them in the room. As we left the room we thought everything was still in our bags and nothing was lying around and after we left we realised we didn’t have the headphones. We saw the headphones in the room and were 100% there we didn’t use them outside of the room. We then phoned and asked if they could get them from the room and my friend will collect them and they said they weren’t there after a lot of back and forth through email and phone they have been rude and unhelpful and are accusing us of lying. They also said this has never happened in their hotel when I have read other reviews since this incident that it has happened.

I have never written a bad review about anywhere before as I am usually happy with what I pay for and have never had a bad experience hence why this was so unexpected for me, however, they were stolen from the room and on the phone they said there’s nothing they can do if cleaners take things from your room which is saying they are free to just go in without permission and take what they want.

Also to add, there’s no option to not get your room cleaned as me and my boyfriend never really bother as it’s only a couple of days and we even said to one cleaner who knocked our door we don’t want the room cleaned but we came home to the bed made anyway.

We have had no help and still not got the headphones back so just wanted to warn others out there to not stay here you will get your things stolen.
