Moxy Lille City

5 well deserved stars for the Moxy staff: super friendly, helpful and spoke very good English. Helped out with parking and advice to visit the city. They also offered us a welcome drink. Room however was a bit basic though: no desk & mini-fridge. Clean, welcoming, yes, but a bit smaller and more basic than what I would have expected from a Marriott. Despite this, I still fully recommend the hotel: very close to the city centre.

A perfect gateway hotel. Room was small but it is what you need if you are there only for 1 or 2 days. Breakfast was correct. Service was excellent, Alexy at the reception was helpful and friendly. It is a bit far from the historic city center (if you are on feet) but you got what you need in the area. The city center was like 20-25 mins walk.

Good location, within walking distance to several attractions, a nice park and a few boulangeries and cafes.
A nice courtyard where you can enjoy your breakfast, if you want to sit outside.
Breakfast has 2 options, a 6 euros per person, which includes a hot and a cold drink + pastries, or a 12 euros per person, which is for the full buffet.
Clean and inviting inside, just the right amount of energy from the staff working there. Very warm and accommodating, we arrived after midnight and the key and checkin papers were ready for us. We also got our welcome drink! Which was a nice surprise.
Nice redesigned bathrooms, the view was of the other side of the entrance, facing an industrial design housing complex, the beds were comfy, but would recommend adding a second pillow to each bed - they only provide them with one each.
The rooms are minimal, in the usual Moxy style, which totally works for short stays, like ours was.
Parking on the street is free overnight until 9 am, then it's around 1 euro every half hour. Alternatively, the hotel has parking inside for an 18 euros daily rate.

🍸 Nice bar on premises, with a cozy terrace, and a small snack bar.

🅿️ Parking spots can be booked in advance, but you can also park on the street - it's free on Sundays, so maybe even a better deal. 😉

💰 Good value for money.

Cracking little place. Parking not so great for motorbike, but there is secure parking 5 min walk away. It has a young vibe. But very proffesional and quiet. A great stop of before and after the tunnel

Great hotel, funky vibe great decoration. Walking distance of all we needed, found the iron room fun as brits abroad we were a bit disappointed no kettle in the room but a trip to the bar at reception sorted that out with a nice brew to take up to the room
