Clean and ok parking a nightmare

Location is not in the nicest part of town but short walk to main area. However was good for us as they had parking and was close to highways. Room is small but efficient. Would be good if there was a kettle for morning drinks. Clean and bed was comfortable. They were able to accommodate a slight change from 2 twin beds to a queen. Room was quiet.

The property needs attention to some in room details. Our room had a completely non-functional air conditioning unit and it took me a lot to convince the reception to come up and understand the issue before entertaining their suggestions of keeping windows open! The standard room I booked has either a shower or a bathtub. If you want a bathtub, please make a note when booking. The service is excellent. Good location near train station in Rouen. Love the hotel which is just next to the Rouen Tower, historical site. Love the sweets and candies and the fruits infused wster which is complimentary. Not forgetting the apples too. Front desk staff are friendly and very helpful.

The hotel is very close to the train station, which allows you to leave your things and walk for an extra day, delicious breakfast and a good view from the window

Looks quite shabby from the outside, but the rooms are nice and clean, gated parking lot and just about three minute drive to the city center. Good sleep over destination if you're visiting the city by car.

Wonderful small hotel, right in the heart of the city.

A very warm welcome at that cosy hotel located at the heart of the medieval city of Rouen, only a few yards away from where Joan of Arc was burnt alive... Comfort and silence in that traditional Inn where the staff will do anything to please patrons' requests and meet their every needs. Highly recommended.

The location itself is really good, They guided me to the wrong room on site, and because of that, the hotel view in Luang was a mess. I am currently requesting a refund for the difference in price through Trip.com due to the downgraded room, and I will also strongly demand compensation.

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, quiet at night, located right in front of the Cathedral and next to all points of interest and restaurants, very convenient! The only issue that we had was with the internet which at the moment of our stay the property had problems with the signal, further than that our stay was a great one!!!

The hotel was in a wonderful location overlooking a cathedral square. Also the room was modern and very clean and comfortable. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Cardinal and I highly recommend this hotel.

well-placed and very nice owners to this hotel without fuss. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. On the other hand, very bad soundproofing, the single glazing lets in outside noise and inside it is not better. the place is quiet so the noise is limited fortunately. Rouen Cathedral is right next to it, very magnificent. It is convenient to every attraction, you can go to the morning market, the town hall, the Jeanne d'Arc Tower and the Memorial Hall, and the ancient clock.

I have stayed in a lot of Mercure hotels and this was the most disappointing. The room we had was tired. The curtains had holes in, there was chipped bits around the sockets in the bathroom and a socket had been removed meaning we had to pull the fridge out and un plug it each time we wanted to use the kettle. If you can't find other more distinctive hotels, you can consider this international chain. It's a bit old, but it has everything you need. It's also very convenient in the city center. There is also a parking lot with reasonable fees.

It's an old facility, but considering it's in Europe, it's a decent standard. There are many famous tourist attractions near the hotel, so you can get to them all on foot. The parking lot is underground, and you have to pay the parking fee first to get out.

Due to allergies, the carpet in the room gave us a hard time during our night. But the manager is exceptional and super kind. She has passion for her job.

Cheap as chips and no frills. Good location, a short wall to the town centre. Car park is small and isn't secure. It also feels like you are lucky to see your car in the morning, but maybe this is unfair of the area.

Booked this hotel because of the convenience. It’s right in the middle of everything in a very walkable city. The hotel is right next to the train station. It houses a historique elevator dating from 1912. The room we stayed in was a suite and it was perfect. It even had a bathtub with lights and jets. Would definitely stay here again.

The loo would not stop filling, we had to use the manual over ride. The hot water took ages to reach the room. Because of this other guests had clearly got frustrated with the shower control, and had turned it so often it did not work. Result is a very hot shower. The room needs a new shower controller quickly before some one is scolded. Bed side reading light, bulb blown

I’ve chosen this hotel since it was close to the Flixbus stop. When we arrived the receptionist told us that there was no hot water and offered to stay in another location about 5 mins walk from there without any additional fees. The staff were very nice and polite during our stay. The room was spacious and clean. Wouldn’t mind staying there again if I ever come back.

I stayed at this hotel for one night only as part of a tour group. We arrived quite late so it was basically a shower and bed before a small buffet breakfast very early in the morning and then off again. Hotel was clean and modern. The floor coverings in my room were interesting 🤔.
