Excellent room comfort. Central location. Location is perfect for train travellers as hotel is opposite the central station. More complicated when you arrive by car since there is no drop-off space right at the hotel, but a drop-off lane across the street.

A hotel where all the key things are right. Small but incredibly and comfortable well equipped. Excellent location. Our room had a good view over to the station and the massif mountains beyond. Superb breakfast and excellent staff

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff were very pleasant, and the entire place has a beautiful English-style aesthetic, with fresh flowers and good soundproofing.
On the downside, we were given a very dark room with a tiny window — it felt almost like a dungeon.. The room could really use more lighting or a chandelier, as the darkness made it a bit uncomfortable and gave a slight feeling of dampness.
Other than that, the location is excellent and the hotel overall is lovely.

Just an overall very pleasant experience. Good location, very nice service upon arrival, nice and tastefully decorated rooms, secure parking nearby, and one of the best breakfasts we have had in all of France so far! And all of this at a very fair price.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Victoria. The hotel is in a great central location, making it easy to explore the area.
Our room was lovely very clean and well-kept, which made our stay comfortable from the moment we arrived. We were also really impressed with the staff, who were all incredibly polite and helpful throughout our visit.
We'd highly recommend Hotel Victoria for anyone looking for a clean, well-located hotel with top-notch service.

Waystop on long drive through France and frankly quite concerned when we realised The Victoria Hotel was literally right outside the train station - usually an area of any city to be wary of. However, both Valances train station and the Victoria Hittel exceeded expectations. Firstly the arrangement with the Q-Park underground station car park was very convenient - and I don't think we have experienced a cleaner and more secure spot. The station area was actually pleasant - no sign of the usual vagrants for such an area. And finally, the Victoria Hotel was neat and clean, good rooom, very nice breakfast and helpful staff.

Because the train was canceled, just I decided to stay in this hotel, just across the train station, very quiet, the environment is very good, clean and comfortable, the room door is still using the old-fashioned key but the gate with access control, the overall is quite safe!
