Atlantica Akti Zeus Hotel

We spent one week at this hotel, and I can definitely recommend it.
The whole facility is very beautiful, with many places to sit and rest, along with great views and a relaxing atmosphere. There was no problem finding a free sun lounger either on the beach or by the swimming pools. The service staff were very kind and friendly. The rooms were very clean, and they took care of everything needed for a great holiday.
The meals were excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from, so everyone could find something they liked, and every day there was a great variety of dishes. The à la carte restaurant was also fantastic. Each dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and could be enjoyed with a stunning view of the beach.
Maybe one small caveat is that there were no refillable bottles of mineral water in the room; we only got two bottles on the first day. However, to be honest, there were water dispensers available throughout the hotel, so it wasn’t a big issue.
To sum up – we had a great time, and we definitely recommend this hotel!

We had an amazing stay at Atlantica Akti Zeus Hotel! The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with regular housekeeping that truly stands out. The food was varied and delicious, with plenty of options for both sweet and savory dishes.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, something that is rare to find in many other countries. Their warm smiles and positive attitude made our stay even more pleasant.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, slightly off the beaten path, which we loved. It also has a large parking area, perfect for those renting a car. The beach is spacious with plenty of sunbeds available at all times, so finding a spot was never an issue. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped with stunning greenery, making for a truly relaxing atmosphere.

One thing worth mentioning is that there’s a power plant nearby, but it’s mostly hidden by the surrounding trees and plants, so it didn’t impact the overall aesthetic of the place.

Our only minor complaint is regarding the receptionist who was on duty when we arrived (October 9th, 2024, around 5:30 AM). We had been traveling for over 24 hours and were exhausted, yet he showed no initiative in helping us with an early check-in. Instead, he asked us to sit on some sofas in the lobby and come back at 11:00 AM, not even to check into a room but just to ask when it might be cleaned. To our surprise, when two very lovely ladies started their shift at around 7:00 AM, they managed to get us a room within an hour and a half. So, where there’s a will, there’s a way!

Overall, we highly recommend Atlantica Akti Zeus Hotel. Everything was fantastic, with the exception of that one experience at reception.

The standard of the hotel definitely exceeds expectations. The rooms are practically new and spacious. The service was helpful and not overbearing. Good food, beautiful green areas and a well-kept beach. I also recommend massages in the SPA zone. As for the location, a city bus leaves from right in front of the hotel, which takes you to the center of Heraklion. I recommend.

Very nice hotel with water park and close to the beach. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good quality food on the all inclusive. The snack bar was absolutely the best restaurant. Traditional Greek food. Greek salad, Tzatziki, pita, gyros, French fries. Very good and easy to access. Over all a very nice hotel with lots of facilities to enjoy your stay at.

Stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend, the food was amazing and the service was great. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming especially George who was working at the main lobby bar. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, always polite and had a laugh with us. We will definitely remember him!

This is the best 4 star all inclusive hotel I have ever been.

An excellent hotel, located just outside a beach. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Food is diverse and tasty. The staff is very friendly. Sunbeds are available for free both at the swimming pool and the beach. If i visit Crete again, i'll come back here for sure.

Hotel is quite isolated and far from any shops. Had full body exfoliation and massage in spa, unfortunately I'd imagine my therapist was quite new and unexperienced as my treatment was poor compared to my daughters, we both had our treatments together. Service was also very slow at the Fadira Grill restaurant. Booked for 8pm, seated at 8:10 but left with no menu until 8:30pm. It was 10:30 by the time we were finished. The general restaurant was buffet style and excellent, snack bar was excellent too.

We loved our stay here. Beach front location, all amenities within a few minutes walk, two pools by the beach, a splash park with a few slides for every age range, a fab waffle bar and activites for the children made for a perfectly relaxing break. There is a power station right next door but it doesn't impact on the views, in fact our room was directly facing it but the scenery masked it really well so apart from an occasional smell of fuel, we forgot it was there! Sunbeds were at a premium as the hotel was busy but we usually managed to find a couple together eventually. We ate in the buffet restaurant which was noisy but the food was tasty and plentiful. We travelled as a party of 6 and usually managed to sit together except for 1 evening when it was made clear we'd have to sit separately. We would definitely stay here again, the staff were mostly friendly and helpful (Christina kept our room spotless) and the scenery and seafront location are just gorgeous. Cat lovers, take a short walk to the local souvenier shop (supermarket) where you can feed all of the local cats 🙂
