The biggest hit is the avocado restaurant. The fact, that the pool and beach bar close so early is a big let down, but the main bar is opened until 1am. The personal is very friendly and helpful

My best holidays of my life ! The food was amazing; the pools were ok even if one with salty water which might not be ok for everyone; the beach is one step from the hotel, there are beach sport available with sealing ; the proposed trips are so cool with montain 4x4, and a boat trip to Santorini Island; the kid's club is very creative and multi languages

I payed extra for bungalow with pool front. Nice clean room with large balcony. Pools are large and with optimal temperature at least for me. Beach is really nice with sand and pebbles

Had a great holyday. Excelent food. Nice rooms. Great beach and swimingpools. The SPA in the place to visit and enjoy.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Don't let people complaining about the power station to the right and a river flowing to the sea and the left discourage you. Both are far and you don't really notice

There are large but smooth rocks in the sea itself, but only for 2 meters or so, than it is sand again. Restaurant has smaller variety of food, mainly for lunches, but dinners are better

They are basic toothbrushes though. 4) Garden, beach and pool: very beautiful garden, really fun to look at

Well guess we "won" the lottery with the room/bungalow. Which felt archaic 😅 - the location was nice however - directly on the beach + you can play tennis

Hotel has own beach with enough seats, the same with the swimming pool. Rooms are clean and well equiped. The shower is not very comfortable, mostly with the sheet, small or no window, so it is very hot there

Hotel on a good place close to the airport (25 min), with busy street with shops, bars and restaurants outside the hotel. Bungalows ale llaced in nice garden, close to sea

The meal was good, but not relevant for 4-stars. Missing better assortment of fruit and vegetable, practically nothing sweet for lunch (good for your health but somebody could miss it :-) )

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, due to the stunning beachfront location and generally warm staff, and would definitely recommend to others

People of unusual kindness and charm will help to explore the island for 30 percent cheaper than from your travel Bureau tour guide in your language and with comfort! Bureau Status! Would recommend to anyone and have a nice stay!

We had the all inclusive plan and the food was diverse and very tasty! The rooms are cleaned everyday and the coffee tastes heavenly on the terrace with the garden view, from where you can also see the sea

We've stayed in Dessole Dolpin Bay resort for our family vacation and LOVED IT! Food is absolutely delicious, so many options even picky eaters will find something. Employees are so nice and welcoming

The hotel and beach were very beautiful nad well-kept. Staff was helpful and kind, always smiling. Entertainment was well-organized by likeable animators (especially water gym)

Infrastructure is also good, slide, sand beach, pool. Although it is medium quality it has good price value ratio

This was my first experience of an all inclusive beach resort (I'm more a city break kind of person) and I think the bar has been set high for future ventures - I'm sold! This resort was amazing on every level

We had slept in an airport and were exhausted. Our room was ready at 9:30! The food has been great, even though we are at the end of the season. I am a vegetarian and there are lots of options

A perfect location with a sandy beach right out the back door. There is a nice sized pool out back. The rooms are clean and the staff are more than happy to look after your every need

We had a day room before our late flight departure. The hotel definitely needs reservations. The rooms are basic, but clean and spacious. We really liked the pool, probably the best pool for doing laps in the area

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Our room was a sea view room view which overlooked both the beach and the pool. Hotel staff were all amazing, really helpful and friendly

Food was pretty good for the most part and when you fancy a change, there are several good taverns about. Drinks were alright, what you expect from an all inclusive. Entertainment looked ok if you’re into that

Me and my partner aren’t so just sat on our balcony with drinks. Wasn’t too noisy, finishes at around 11 each night Bus services are fairly regular to and from Heraklion

Be warned they don’t always run to time and the last bus back is much earlier than advertised (last number 6 is about 11pm)

We always had to leave the air conditioning on the lowest setting at night, otherwise we couldn't sleep. What you need to know; the hotel has no elevators! This must be clear for people with walking difficulties

The hotel complex is small, manageable and well maintained. As a result, the hotel was not overcrowded. About the room: The room was well equipped and clean. However, the room was very small

The juice machine doesn’t work and just pours water. It’s a lovely area though, beautiful beach, big supermarket across the road and some lovely restaurants around

Very clean, spotless in the lounge as well as the room which had clean sheets regularly, breakfast was delicious and staff were incredibly friendly. There was a very large swimming pool area as well

The pool is spacious and good for all the family, as it reaches good depths in some areas, but also has an area especially designed for kids

The walk to the beach is just 5 minutes and taxi to the city center is relatively cheap (13€)

We stayed at Vanisko Hotel for 3 nights. Everything about our experience was wonderful. The buffet breakfast was magnificent - fruit, vegetables, cheese, pastries, coffee, juice all the best quality

There are "public pools" which we also used, but it's a nice thing to have your own bed whenever you want to relax at the pool :) Food: The breakfast had a good choice of food (also vegan options available like marmalade and peanut butter, soy milk, fruits, vegetables and many more

Minus points: loud outdoor music on right side of hotel, on left side loud outdoor movie theater. Beach is nice, but beds contantly occupied by people laying down towels at 7:30 am and views on Coal Power Plant

We liked the dinner that was served even more as there were plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from (meat was of course also available). The selection changed every day for a great variety

The hotel is very clean, nice staff, smells good, the room was perfect and the clean housework was done everyday :) The buffet was amazing with various choice of food with excellent quality

We stayed at the Petousis Hotel & Suites for a week, we took the swim up Suite with the private pool. The room is spacious and clean, the bed so comfortable and the pool was clear and clean

The staff was amazing and would go out of their way to help you with anything you needed. The food was amazing! By far the best food we had on the island. Try the fried zucchini, it is to die for!

Fairly new and modern looking rooms. Rain shower is lovely! We went for a regular room, which is quite big already, plenty of space, TV, mini fridge, 2 person bed (2 single beds), desk, balcony

The room and the grounds were in excellent condition and you could see that the staff take great pride in keeping it that way. It is a bountiful boutique hotel with excellent accommodations

Bus stop in front of hotel, which goes directly to Heraklion. The restaurant/bar/tavern that is located against the hotel has good food as well. Definitely recommend this hotel

If you have children, there’s some nice things for them - a set of swings and a football net with lots of balls around! Also a pool table. Everything clean in general in our room

I personally did not see or use the swimming pool (oops) as I was too busy travelling about and just went to the beach to swim

While I did enjoy the half-board arrangement, ordering a la carte is a recommendation! They were even kind enough to let me keep my salad from the half-pension when I did! Back to the hotel: Rooms are cleaned daily and the hotel itself looks clean and tidy

The beach is closeby (walking distance), there's a bus stop for the local bus service right in front of the hotel (with the name of the hotel) and there's plenty of small shops nearby to get those last items you need

At the pool of the hotel you can relax and enjoy the great holiday atmosphere. You may also find wonderful excursions. (Haris, a wonderful lady that can help you with these)

The lady at the front desk, I think she is the owner, was really nice and we quickly got our room. It is pretty close to Heraklion center and harbor area by car. Disliked · For us the photos looked better than reality

The next house was pretty close and high so the room was pretty dark. That house looked old and had a lot of doves sitting there and making dirt. That dirt was on the little balcony of us too

3 minutes to the beach: ammos beach bar sells TWO sunbeds and umbrella for 3€ daily - incredible. There are also pavillons for 10€, and you get fruits, juice and water. Some nice restaurants and shops around

Pool bar was open every day (serving drinks, Greek snacks, icecream, coffee; also pasta), and VERY cheap: ouzo 1,50€ ? Pool open from 1000-2000, no night swimming, quite common times

The hotel itself what you'd expect for the price. Rooms are clean and tidy if a bit dated. Breakfast is good as is the pool. Staff are excellent, very welcoming and helpful fixing any issues immediately.

We stayed 7 days and everything was absolutely amazing! In my opinion they do best food in that area, all the staff are very friendly and nice also the beach design! Only problem is they have a river next to them which is cold as ice, so if you want to enter the sea better walk a bit down the coast for a good temperature sea

Hotel is situated right on the beach. Stuff is very nice. Hotel guest's have sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge where hotel waiter's serve drinks and snacks. Beach is sandy and clean with life guard.

Food is reasonably priced for quality and all dishes were delicious. The cheese platter is a good choice if you want to try the local cheeses. Pizzas are thin based and generously topped and calamari is cooked perfectly

Rooms that you would only expect in a high-end Hilton or better, and staff that would bend over backwards for you. Enjoyed breakfast every morning, which was included in the price. And of course the sun beds up front

100 meters from nice sandy beach with lots of activities for all ages

The studio was basic but had everything we needed and was clean with sheets and towels changed mid week. The pool was lovely and very pretty surrounded by flowering shrubs. The food was lovely and freshly cooked

Arrived around midnight but was welcomed as if it was midday even made an omlette as I was pretty hungry washed down with local Ouzo ..Will take welcome over accommodation every time

Naturally they saved my vacation after I arrived in Amoudara and noticed that my previous booking in the hotel nearby was cancelled. The service, the room, the food - everything was outstanding

This is a great family run 4 star hotel in Ammoudara, the beach resort for Hersklion. I had a twin room with a good, partial sea view, came with long balcony, with chair. Room reasonable size, tastefully furnished

I wouldn’t recommend it for people who would like to party 24h/day in hotel (but it is very close to Heraklion where You can party, and later on sleep up to 12:00)

Maybe WiFi signal on the 3rd floor could be better but will you arrive on Crete to spend all your time inside ?) Thanks for all, ευχαριστώ πολύ 👍🏻

This is a very nice option in Amoudara Beach, it’s extremely good location wise, you can spend your days beach front straight from your room or explore the island and return at the end of the day

The main restaurant is indoors adjacent to the hotel, whilst the popular section is outdoors across a narrow access road, directly on the beachfront

I ate lunch here and from the extensive menu, which contained options of salad / fish / meat / vegetarian dishes, I chose the mixed seafood salad, together with a small beer

Good experience, big rooms with sea view ,good food at the restaurant,private beach. staff and Christos (friendly and professional) Good spot from where you can explore the east side of the island

In relation price vesus quality we recommended this hotel. It is simple hotel but is quiet, have a pool and is near the beach (350m). Our room have a fridge and it is posible to have hot water to make a tea or coffee

I really liked the people in the hotel, they are authentic and smiling with you every second while speaking, I felt at home, the pool is small but clean, my only concern is the location but you have public transportation and you can order freenow(app) as well, I really enjoyed the trip here in Crete

Very nice place with friendly and kind staff. Location a bit far from the center but close to Ammoudara beach and the highway. Parking right next to the hotel

Value for money, the room was clean and spacious enough. Very basic amenities, small balcony, no elevator, has an outdoor pool, has a parking. Short driving distance from the city center.

Rooms in very good condition, I would have preferred more furniture in the room and the shower was also not working the best

You get correct value for the amount you pay, and they are not treating you less politely just because it is a 2 star place
