Hotels on first line in Amoudara

If we would have known that there are no baby seats available we would have taken ours from home. A longer stay in the room on the departure day was not possible although we are civitel members

Most of the service personal was very nice. Although we booked a taxi service with a baby seat via reception and didn’t get a seat so that we had to drive with our little one on our lap

That was not that bad, although it would be easier for our baby to have a proper day time sleep, the problem was, that the receptionist wasn’t very keen to explain why we couldn’t have the room until our departure time

Then go and pour into a carafe (1l). In the vacant bottle pour at the restaurant drinking water. But in General, everything is wonderful and friendly

I would say all in all I do recommend the hotel and I liked our stay. The bungalow was very new and beautiful. Although it could have been cleaner when we arrived and during our stay

Lovely villas, quiet and well maintained. Delicious food served in the dining room beside reception. Good selection at breakfasts taffy very friendly and helpful. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach and around pool area.

This was my first experience of an all inclusive beach resort (I'm more a city break kind of person) and I think the bar has been set high for future ventures - I'm sold! This resort was amazing on every level

Beautiful beaches, plenty of space for everyone, really good and varied food/drink choices, and lots of activity options available

We had slept in an airport and were exhausted. Our room was ready at 9:30! The food has been great, even though we are at the end of the season. I am a vegetarian and there are lots of options

Agapi beach resort was a dream! The staff are all incredible and friendly. Very informative and accommodating

We have been at Marirena Hotel just some days ago and I would like to underline that everything was perfect. I was surprised because lots of people sent descriptions that are not real

Very friendly staff, perfect position near the beach, nice dinner with rice, pasta, meat and fish, lots of salads and vegetables. I really cannot understand why lots of people said never again

Me and my family with a 4-year-old boy really cannot criticize anything. Towel changes and room service daily!!! One of the best hotels where I have personally been in Greece and we've visited lots of islands

Decent, clean rooms, free Wi-Fi but too modest and monotonous breakfasts and not always adequate dinners with a stingy owner who doesn't like his guests

A Beautiful Hotel with Good Services, Very Close To The Cretan Sport Stadium at Ammoudara beach. Youth and Sport Team Leaders Love it.

The bus stop is in front of the hotel, easy to get to the city centre (bus 1 and 20) and back (bus 6). Short walk to the public beach. The best advantage were early breakfast hours (7-10)

The pool was also nice, not many people there and suprisingly I couldn't hear the traffic from the street that much

The pool is spacious and good for all the family, as it reaches good depths in some areas, but also has an area especially designed for kids

Check the fruit aisle! Mot much else around worth exploring

The juice machine doesn’t work and just pours water. It’s a lovely area though, beautiful beach, big supermarket across the road and some lovely restaurants around

3 minutes to the beach: ammos beach bar sells TWO sunbeds and umbrella for 3€ daily - incredible. There are also pavillons for 10€, and you get fruits, juice and water. Some nice restaurants and shops around

Pool bar was open every day (serving drinks, Greek snacks, icecream, coffee; also pasta), and VERY cheap: ouzo 1,50€ ? Pool open from 1000-2000, no night swimming, quite common times

Free sunbeds and umbrellas, pool is large and up to 2,90m deep. Included breakfast typically Greek: olives, feta, watermelon, yoghurt and honey,. Furthermore two types of cold cuts, cheese, cereals, scrambled eggs

A very nice Hotel, clean and fresh, with excellent service, and the beautiful garden with huge and sheltered swimming pool.

The hotel itself what you'd expect for the price. Rooms are clean and tidy if a bit dated. Breakfast is good as is the pool. Staff are excellent, very welcoming and helpful fixing any issues immediately.

Simple yet very clean and nice accomodations. Nice and upgraded modern bathroom. Big swimming pool with a lovely garden area around it. All of the staff were so warm and welcoming and helpful

If you have children, there’s some nice things for them - a set of swings and a football net with lots of balls around! Also a pool table. Everything clean in general in our room

Great hotel with friendly staff who gladly help you out. I stayed over for six days and arrived around 22:00

I personally did not see or use the swimming pool (oops) as I was too busy travelling about and just went to the beach to swim

While I did enjoy the half-board arrangement, ordering a la carte is a recommendation! They were even kind enough to let me keep my salad from the half-pension when I did! Back to the hotel: Rooms are cleaned daily and the hotel itself looks clean and tidy

The beach is closeby (walking distance), there's a bus stop for the local bus service right in front of the hotel (with the name of the hotel) and there's plenty of small shops nearby to get those last items you need

At the pool of the hotel you can relax and enjoy the great holiday atmosphere. You may also find wonderful excursions. (Haris, a wonderful lady that can help you with these)

This is a very nice option in Amoudara Beach, it’s extremely good location wise, you can spend your days beach front straight from your room or explore the island and return at the end of the day

The main restaurant is indoors adjacent to the hotel, whilst the popular section is outdoors across a narrow access road, directly on the beachfront

I ate lunch here and from the extensive menu, which contained options of salad / fish / meat / vegetarian dishes, I chose the mixed seafood salad, together with a small beer

Good experience, big rooms with sea view ,good food at the restaurant,private beach. staff and Christos (friendly and professional) Good spot from where you can explore the east side of the island

In relation price vesus quality we recommended this hotel. It is simple hotel but is quiet, have a pool and is near the beach (350m). Our room have a fridge and it is posible to have hot water to make a tea or coffee

I really liked the people in the hotel, they are authentic and smiling with you every second while speaking, I felt at home, the pool is small but clean, my only concern is the location but you have public transportation and you can order freenow(app) as well, I really enjoyed the trip here in Crete

Very nice place with friendly and kind staff. Location a bit far from the center but close to Ammoudara beach and the highway. Parking right next to the hotel

Value for money, the room was clean and spacious enough. Very basic amenities, small balcony, no elevator, has an outdoor pool, has a parking. Short driving distance from the city center.

Rooms in very good condition, I would have preferred more furniture in the room and the shower was also not working the best

You get correct value for the amount you pay, and they are not treating you less politely just because it is a 2 star place

But over the street is a nice restaurant so I recommend eating there. There is a nice pool with quite deep and clean water. I just expected it to be allowed to swimm there later in the evening than 18

Too compressed and the planning was not good at all. The bed is normal size but it squeaks all the night with every movement you or you partner makes. The same problems where in 4 people room that my family was staying

Very friendly staff but there are plenty of improvements to do. First of all the rooms are planned impractically. We stayed in 2 people room with my partner and the bathroom/toilet was almost impossible to use

And unfortunately I had a feeling that they didn’t fill the containers after they got empty, or it took so much time that I have already finished eating

Overall the hotel is clean and nice. Breakfast is the same EVERY morning. No hot food and only thing fresh IF you’re lucky are tomatoes

At its beautiful beach we fried until Golden brown, as the sea was calm and we swam with masks, forgetting precautions)))) But back to the hotel and the nearby beach. The beach is sandy, sunbeds pay 7 euros

the hotel is decent rested in July 2017 the staff is very nice and friendly the rooms are not dirty there is only wifi at the pool and in the main lobby of the hotel,but if you lived somewhere on the lower floors,there is a chance to catch him

minus of the hotel-the food:the food is monotonous;once even poisoned corn at dinner,places posameznih a little,and if there is,at the Inferno(the place of a meal-the veranda) The pool is nice,there is mistechok where not deep so children can swim spokoino Bar all day free (a big plus) to 21:00(even at 16:00 ice cream sandwiches) overall the hotel is good and definitely deserves its 3 stars

Politely asked not first floor and this courtesy was awarded the third floor overlooking the pool and sea. The rooms are certainly Spartan, but bright

There is a 25 meters pool on the territory and a pool bar where you could get all kinds of drinks and even an ice cream between 4 and 5 p. The staff was polite and helpful, all spoke a good English

A perfect location with a sandy beach right out the back door. There is a nice sized pool out back. The rooms are clean and the staff are more than happy to look after your every need

We had a day room before our late flight departure. The hotel definitely needs reservations. The rooms are basic, but clean and spacious. We really liked the pool, probably the best pool for doing laps in the area

The lady at the front desk, I think she is the owner, was really nice and we quickly got our room. It is pretty close to Heraklion center and harbor area by car. Disliked · For us the photos looked better than reality

The next house was pretty close and high so the room was pretty dark. That house looked old and had a lot of doves sitting there and making dirt. That dirt was on the little balcony of us too

Great, cozy place directly on the beach. Here for two nights with my family. Friendly, casual, welcoming. Very clean, not fancy. Lovely balcony with sea view.

Great location right by the sea with free umbrellas and beach chairs. Great place for kids, the playground is right next to the apartments, the swimming pool was in the neighbouring hotel for free just couple meters away

Great value family run hotel with great views (we got a free upgrade to the best sea view room). Generally great value for money and easy to get to Heraklion (bus stop next to the hotel)

The beach is nice with the sun lounge service, but too many kids for my liking. Breakfast was good and was only €5 so good value

Perfect choice for amazing holidays! Stayed at the hotel for 11 nights with my wife and we had a great experience! Nice, big and clean rooms, friendly owner, right next to the beach, with its restaurant at the entrance and only 12 minutes from the airport

The restaurant- by the way- is the best in the whole area! Delicious food, large portions, low prices, fantastic cocktails and very friendly staff! Our holidays couldn’t be better! We definitely recommend it and will visit it again!

Today we were in this restaurant on our last day in Crete and I really regret that we didn't discover this place before. We ordered the pizza and it was very good. But even better was the service
