The location of the hotel is very good, and the room you booked has a sea view as soon as you open the door, and the beach is just a few steps away

The advantage of the hotel is that the accommodation is not in one central building but in many small houses located in a garden full of trees. Everyone has privacy and a pleasant environment on their terraces

The pool was also very nice with a lifeguard accompanying it. One of the best things about the hotel is the location, there is a big supermarket in front of it and a lidl 2 minutes walk

The best part is when we saw the pool for the first time it was so massive! And there was toys you can play with when you go in the pool like floats and balls, the lifeguard kept watching over us just in case something wrong happened and I am very thankful for this, there is also a bar with some nice drinks and snacks

As soon as we had a first look of the hotel and came inside I was greeted with some amazing staff and made us feel very comfortable for our first time, then as we made it to our room we felt so heartwarming with how clean they tidied the room for us! Then as we woke up in the morning we went and had a absolute delicious breakfast with a variety of choices

And can I explain how amazing the location is located! It has a supermarket and mini market next to it with a nice restaurant which have some nice gyros, All I can say is i totally recommend this place, Thank you for this lovely experience for our first time in Greece!

There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel which made transportation to and from Heraklion simple and fast. Hotel is 10 minutes drive to the airport. Had a wonderful first time experience here

just had 2 weeks at the hotel Castro-we arrived around midnight but was still offered a meal- with me being in a wheelchair I requested a ground floor pool view and that's what we got- the air con didn't work but he sorted it out there and then-clean towels and sheets daily- food was lovely- cant understand anyone complaining-if I didn't feel like a hot meal they would do me something else all we had...

The beach is closeby (walking distance), there's a bus stop for the local bus service right in front of the hotel (with the name of the hotel) and there's plenty of small shops nearby to get those last items you need

Staff at the reception can help you with your questions and if you still want to go on any excursions, they will be glad to help you out via their connection with Tourline. Overall, just a great experience

My room was clean and had everything I needed including a fridge (room 116 ground floor which meant leaving patio doors open was not an option as access could be gained externally by anyone passing by, and of course privacy was thus heavily compromised) Breakfast which was included was quite comprehensive and consisted of cooked breakfast, cold meats/cheeses, fruits, cereals and hot and cold drinks

Excellent hotel, felt more expensive than it actually was. Pool and à la carte breakfast in sister hotel Theatro and those were absolutly luxurious. Rooms were modern and clean and the staff in Nuovo always so friendly

Not as friendly in Theatro but good enough. Hotel was quite small and not too crowded on September. We enjoyed our stay so much and if I ever come to Crete again I want to stay in this same hotel again

This is nice mini hotel located on the beach just a bit outside of city centre. Rooms 401 and 402 specious and well set up. Good to stay for weekend or a week. Recommend to try.

As world travelers for many years, we believe that Nuevo Crete by the sea is truly a hidden gem in Heraklion that made our stay one of the best vacations we ever experienced

The staff at both properties were warm and helpful. My travel friend is Celiac and the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate her needs. The only downside was the neighbourhood was limited other restaurants

The hotel has good rooms with a fantastic breakfast and decent location. We did have one major issue with a school group that ran up and down the halls all night, banging on the doors, screaming and slamming doors

Great little boutique hotel just a 5min walk away from Heraklion centre. Rooms are spacious, parking spots are available, the service is great. Staff really makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need.

New hotel nestled in a fascinating area of the center just walking distance from busier shopping area. The room is well designed and has it all. Parking is very precious in this area

Visited in March 2024 New, modern and absolutely gorgeous! Close to a fantastic restaurant! Staff was quick and very helpful and friendly. Room was sparkly clean with everything you could want at a great price

One thing to note though, Google maps will try to take you through impassible streets, so make sure you keep an eye out for the signs they have posted in the area!

Perfectly fine hotel in the city center, with a good breakfast service. I did find some mold in the shower. For those with a vehicle, the roads near hotel are very tight with very limited parking available

There was a small malfunction with the balcony door,not that great soundproofing,no privacy-soundproofing between room and bathroom and no sitting in the balcony but no big deal, totally value for money, i would definitely book again

As our 1st stop on our Crete honeymoon, Ibis Styles was the the perfect spot! Super convenient to the city center, parking, museum, shops, restaurants, and the gorgeous Heraklion port

We got upgraded to an Executive Room and all, from reception welcoming to check-out was absolutely perfect, the room was big and clean with all comforts and a quiet balcony

Breakfast is generous and includes local sweets, and there is also a supermarket on the lower floor to buy food for the day or snacks before your travel

What really made our stay special was the birthday package I booked through their website. Everything was perfectly arranged — we received a lovely cake, fresh flowers, wine, and festive balloons in the room

The lady in the kitchen needs training on food safety and sanitation. I observed her sneezing in the palms of her hands and then going back to slicing tomatoes without changing her gloves

The room is relatively simple but clean, including disposable slippers. The breakfast on the 6th floor is also relatively simple, but the view is excellent. You can see the Venetian Castle on the seaside of Heraklion

The Marin Hotel is located near the ruins of the ancient city, close to the city center, and has excellent accommodation. It is very convenient to eat and shop nearby

But above all, the staff has been excellent. Extremely supportive and always treating us with a smile

Only two servings of coffee capsules the first day (really now…), no facilities to dry bathing suites. The good side, they serve one of the best breakfasts around Greece and the waiters are extremely polite

My wife and I traveled around Crete for two weeks and this was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. It’s cozy, historic and luxurious. Their breakfast was also possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had anywhere.

The Megaron was absolutely wonderful. From the spaces where you can sit and relax (the "living room" or the sundeck) to our room, everything was clean and beautiful. The staff was always welcoming and helpful

Stayed an extra day in Heraklion after Knossos palace so moved hotel, glad we did! Definately one of my better stays, breakfast was full service & endless, staff was brilliant- all of them! Room was excellent, plenty of room to swing a cat, king bed with a selection of 5 PILLOW TYPES!! Mini bar was stocked & also meals/ drinks to room & pool areas

The food is excellent with a huge choice and enough changes from day to day. This is not a place to go B&B as you’d need a hire car or taxi to escape, although a regular bus goes directly from the hotel to Heraklion

Stayed at Panorama Village Hotel for a week in July - and wow it was great! We originally booked a garden view room - which wasn’t to our standards - completely our fault so no judgement held against the hotel

Well worth the extra cost as we absolutely loved the room and in fact it made the holiday as we were on the top floor with a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and nearby towns

After 1 night in the garden view room we asked if we could move to a Sea View room, which the kind staff and manager managed to sort out for us at a very reasonable cost

Location - given the amazing sea views comes with a downside. It’s around a 10 minute walk to the beach downhill and 20 back up- however this isn’t a huge deal as the hotel offers a shuttle throughout the day

So helpful and attentive and happy for a chat! Breakfast was lovely, everything you need and healthy with the most cheerful of staff of a morning to greet you. And a few cats that are really happy chilling there too

Just had an aromatherapy massage with Eleni. It was genuinely the most relaxing experience. Eleni was firm but gentle so much so that I nearly fell asleep. I could do it all over again

Diana Apartments offer clean and comfortable apartments for families and couples. Ideally with a car you can visit other beaches and parts of Creta, but also on foot you can enjoy the nearby Agia Pelagia in a 5 mins walk

We arrived at diana appt in agia pelagia, and then Heleni received us as if we were old friends. The studios give an incredible view at 30m from the sea with a feeling of being alone in the world

Then the studios, functional but with all the necessary and very clean. But the cherry on top of the cake is that Heleni and her son Georgios and his partner, invite you for a BBQ unexpectedly

There are many books/novels around the entrance (English and Greek) and the loungers outside the apartments are ideal to relax late afternoons with a book
