Very kind personnel, clean rooms (daily room service). Pools and animation team were perfect. Big waves most of the time. Really good food.

The advantage of the hotel is that the accommodation is not in one central building but in many small houses located in a garden full of trees. Everyone has privacy and a pleasant environment on their terraces

Its an all inclusive hotel the breakfast buffet was especially good with crepes and pancakes, cooked breakfasts etc, we did eat out a couple of evenings to mix it up, there are some really nice restaurants within walking distance

You have to bring your own tooth brush and paste and a shower sponge. No iron is available but they have a laundry service. Disappointing to say the least. On another note, the food was excellent

While I understand that, it is NOT what I paid for. My definition and passed experiences of all inclusives mean you put your wallet away unless you want to book excursions, extra restaurants or purchase premium alcohols

Very nice location close to Heraklion. There is hop on, hop off bus for sight seeing just in front of hotel. Hotel has pool, small pool with slides, it is close to beach

Food was very good through the day, there were also snacks on top of 3 main dishes. There was great animation program even for adults including stretching, aquafitness, sports such as volleyball, water polo

Food was good - we had excellent meals, also some average meals that did not match our tastebuds, but that happens everywhere. Coconut cake is to die for, on the other hand breakfasts were a bit boring

Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, beds are not very comfy, but hey, you won't be inside for most of the time. The beach is clean and equiped with free beach chairs for guests, beach bar is just a few steps away

The animation programme is amazing - cool and friendly people with suitable activities for all ages. Our child enjoyed miniclub and minidisco, I dare to say, that I did also. The staff everywhere is AMAZING

This is nice mini hotel located on the beach just a bit outside of city centre. Rooms 401 and 402 specious and well set up. Good to stay for weekend or a week. Recommend to try.

As world travelers for many years, we believe that Nuevo Crete by the sea is truly a hidden gem in Heraklion that made our stay one of the best vacations we ever experienced

The apartment was spacious, with two bedrooms, a kitchen area, bathroom with good hot water, two balconies and was excellent value for money

Shops, rentals, bus stops, pharmacy, tavernas and even cinema are around the place together with a magnificent mountain view. Some staff speaks German, and owner is a friendly woman

With minimum requirements and an eye for beautiful Cretan interior you will love this place. We had two rooms, both with balconies and kitchen equipment

Prices much better than the supermarket in the hotel. The lady there was happy to split certain packs of things that we didn't need 5 of. Would be 5* if we didn't need to carry a buggy up a flight of stairs to get in.

Food Varies From Day to Day and everything is fresh. Hotel has private beach Just straight behind the hotel. If you are not looking for complex hotel with many attractions for Kids etc - this one is a perfect choice :)

Fairly new and modern looking rooms. Rain shower is lovely! We went for a regular room, which is quite big already, plenty of space, TV, mini fridge, 2 person bed (2 single beds), desk, balcony

We stayed at the Petousis Hotel & Suites for a week, we took the swim up Suite with the private pool. The room is spacious and clean, the bed so comfortable and the pool was clear and clean

Had this place recommended to us for food, on arrival we were seated overlooking the sea (perfect setting) the waiter dimitri was very very attentive and friendly, we looked at the menu and he explained all the different dishes and what was in them, we had smoked pancetta, pasta with a creamy sauce and fish, everything was cooked to perfection , followed by the most amazing cocktails made by the lovely...

The room was great and the restaurant was amazing! We had a junior suite room facing the sea with a jacuzzi tub on the terrace. The restaurant served delicious breakfast and the dinners were the best we had in Crete!

Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel. Absolutely amazing stay! My room was big, clean and extremely comfortable, including the bed. I had a large, lovely tub that I enjoyed at the end of the day…heaven

We went at the end of May/early June and it felt like off-season still, so no problem getting a spot on the beach, though I saw reviews that mentioned trouble with that later in the season
