I called on the phone and sent a follow-up email in order to reserve a room with a balcony.

I was promised that a room is reserved for me, but later on they claimed that the room does not have a balcony, and implicitly it means that my reservation is canceled.

While I don't have an opinion on the hotel itself, I find the reservation process and the service I got below average, hence the review.

While the hotel was pleasant, the nearest subway station can be tricky — I suggest getting off one stop earlier for a smoother walk

The money I paid for this room in this hotel so far from the center and far from public transportation was too much. There was not even a kettle to make a drink that should have been there and a basic breakfast and not to be charged an additional 6€. The price of this room was excessive. The only thing that was worth it in the room was the bathroom.

I was able to use the luggage storage service, which allowed me to sightsee without having to carry a lot of luggage.
The staff were all kind and friendly.
The room was very clean, and the towels and other items seemed to be clean.
There was also a balcony.
It was also easily accessible, so I recommend it.

The ladies in the lobby were extremely helpful and nice to us. Unfortunately, that doesn’t save the experience. We got in quite late and the area was not the most friendly. The hotel room was small and felt old. The walls were very thin and it was (too) easy to hear what the neighbors were up to. I’m going to spare you the details and allow your Imagination to do the rest of the work. I’ll just say that it isn’t a family hotel.

Great hotel, next to a lovely park. It is easy to get to downtown Athens by bus right next to the hotel, and/or Metro from the Metro line two bus stops away. Lovely room, and great staff!
