Vathi Cove Luxury Resort & Spa

Me and my husband spend part of our honeymoon in this resort. We had a wonderful time there. The service is very good. The people who work there are true professionals. The hotel is not very big with privet beach which made our vacation very peaceful and pleasant. The rooms are good size and very clean. We picked a room with hot tub on the terrace. This was a very good decision because the first day the weather was not very good and it was a little bit cold outside but the hot tub was the perfect temperature 😉. We had compliments from the hotel for our wedding which was very sweet of them to do. The beach was perfect with very comfortable sun beds and golden sand. The pool was great as well. At the beach you can choose to do different activities like paddle boarding, canoeing and others which was very fun to do.
The restaurant in the hotel has great variety of interesting dishes with great view of the Aegean Sea. The portions are good. For breakfast there is open table with different sweet and salty foods.
We had great experience in this resort and we hope we will visit it again.
The only downside was the road from the ferry to the hotel. It was really rocky and dusty. When you get closer to the resort the road is perfect but before that there is a lot of marble transportation to the ferry with big vehicles and may be that is the reason for the road’s condition.

Exceptional hotel. Nice, contemporary, cozy rooms with amazing sea view. Beautifully furnished and with a super comfortable bed. Beautiful, modern hotel with sea view from every corner. The beach is extremely beautiful with waters on all shades of turquoise and green. The staff was very polite and always helpful. The only cons there the bad road leading to the hotel (about 6km) and the overpriced food and cocktails. The restaurant had a fantastic view over the cove but the food was overrated. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't fine dinning level, although the prices were high. Breakfast was sufficient. I would like a little more variety on the fruit section (they only had melon and watermelon).
Idyllic place, ideal for unwinding and recharging. Cave: it's not an adult only hotel, so it can get a bit loud if many families with little children have booked on the same dates.

Very nice place to stay, the beach is very calm and the sea is crystal clear. Variety of choises for breakfast (I am surprised to see some comments about breakfast that complains about limited options, for me the options were more than enough) We had dinner in terrace, great landscape, the food is nice. All the hotel staff were very kind. The hotel is designed simply and elegantly, there were no tiring details.
We booked two rooms sea view and jacuzzi. My only point about jacuzzi room is jacuzzi is not silent even when it does not work, therefore we had to keep the window closed when sleeping.
About the way to the hotel, for me it is not a big deal as we wanted to rest and we stayed in the hotel mostly, but for people who wants to go out everyday and who stays more than 3 days it might be difficult, there is also a boat transfer that they can organize, we did not prefer because it was costly compared to the benefit for us.

I recently stayed with my family at Vathi Cove hotel on Thasos, and it felt like paradise. The serene, peaceful atmosphere was perfect for relaxation. The interior is top-notch with a modern design. The food was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. This hotel is a true gem, offering an idyllic escape with amazing amenities and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for a hedonistic vacation! :)

A lot of frustrated people who let false reviews just because of the laws of Greece bla bla... I've been there (2022 and 2023) and I can swear that is the most beautiful place in Thasos. All the people who wants to visit the beach, they are accepted on the corner of it and they can enjoy it. Nobody will block you for a visit. I've seen a lot of frustrated people who came just to bother another people. That's why you don't deserve this beach. This beach is without any annoying music. You can enjoy the silence of nature, of the sea...please go away if you don't know how to respect another people. This place is unbelievable and I rightly recommend to read the reviews only about location and services not about laws of Greece....The food is amazing, perfect Staff. You can change your batterys 100%. 10 10 10 for this location.

The absolute, undisputed hotel champion of Thasos island. And perhaps the Aegean Sea.
It was our first visit to the property, and we were amazed that the resort was more beautiful than in the pictures, the attention to detail was even more impressive, and the service (and the general will of the staff) was above and beyond any experience we have ever had in Greece.
If you want a perfect vacation, look no further.

What a great resort! Stayed 9days and what a relaxing 9 days that was! The staff is absolutely awesome!! Attentive to all our needs and made our stay a memorable family vacation! Lefteri greeted us upon arrival and was there throughout our stay with any request we had. Niko had a smile each during his shift and made sure everything was in order. They coordinated our water taxi driven by Captain Triantafelo. Super guy and kids absolutely adored him! Stelio was our daily vehicle driver which took us into town by land. Great person and learned so much about the island from him. Breakfast/lunch/dinner were great! Restaurant manager Odysseus is a wonderful human being who accommodated us with any request we needed. He leads a wonderful team who are on top of everything to make your stay a memorable one. Marina was our gal during the day on the beach. What a sweet girl and very attentive to all our needs to keep us refreshed and nourished on the beach. We met the owner while there who was very hospitable along with his wife while there. Super people and a well run resort. As for the rooms, impeccable! Clean and well kept by housekeeping daily. The beach, well all i can say is WOW! What a beautiful private beach. Plenty of sun beds for its guests and those waters are to die for. I cant wait to see you guys next year! I sure hope the full teams remains in tact and thank you for a wonderful summer vacation!
