Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort

We check-in at the end of May. Not a very busy period, never had been here before, and eventually we got the last room on the floor; very close to the delivery and garbage area (I could hear every morning at 6 the trucks and their disturbing sound). Disaponting,… nr.1.
Balcony was full of ants and all the premisas full of flyes; when we adressed the issue to one of the restaurant managers at the pool, he said: “this is nature”. Innaceptable!! Flyes all ofer the food and our bodies. Disapointment,.. nr.2.
One morning, wife goes to the breakfast restaurant and tries to get a plate with cakes in order to enjoy in the room with the coffee (nespresso machine - but some mikey mouse coffee because they do not serve nespresso coffee in the room). Surprise: she gets stopped by the resturant door and told: it is not allowed to take food out of the resturant. Disappintemnt,.. nr. 3.
Food quality and variety at the breakfast restaurant is maximum acceptable, not to say poor,…
The only area where the hotel comes close to its five stars rating is the Front Desk; there is the only one department wich seems trained and ready to live up to the expectations.
BTW, bathrooms are lacking the shelves, towels are too few,.. the balcony was never sweped, ….
The general impresion is that the property is lacking management,…sime of the people are doing their jobs, sime simoly do nit care; and this is because the managemt is absent or they do not care,…
Aa,.. not to mention the garage,… complete disaster; dirt, dirt and dirt, all over the place,…
Looks like no standards and no procedures in place; Huge disapointment for a five stars hotel,…
(Decent food, however, good service in some areas).
Also, one day at breakfast, 10:40, the restaurant manager comes by and let us know that they close at 10:30 and we have to finish our breakfast; I mean,… in what kind of world we live in!? Was I supossed to stand up and disapear,…!?

Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a lovely birthday vacation turned into a nightmare and a complete disappointment due to our stay at this hotel! We will never return here, and I would not recommend it to anyone! I made a reservation through Booking.com.
We booked 4 rooms – 1 Club Room and 3 Deluxe Rooms. I received a message from the staff stating that the following were included:

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort and exceeding your expectations.
However, nowhere was it stated that these benefits applied only to one room. Once we were already checked in the unpleasant surprises began.
It turned out that in order to access the SPA, 3 rooms – where our children were staying – have to pay extra for each day of the stay, and they were also not allowed to have breakfast in the same restaurant.
For 3 of the rooms, the following were not included:
* Luxury Miraggio gifts (beach tote, cap)
And when we asked to purchase these extras, were told it wasn’t possible.
Even worse, there were no toothbrushes or vanity kits in the bathrooms of the three rooms, which is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel – something we've never encountered elsewhere.
The next day brought yet another surprise – the beach was divided into two zones, and we faced yet another form of extortion that was never mentioned anywhere:
In the regular beach zone, there were not enough sunbeds and umbrellas for all people staying at the hotel, and all spots were taken.
We are a family, and it’s completely normal for us to want to be together, but the other zone (included only for the one room) had plenty of available sunbeds, yet they refused to allow our children to join us there unless we paid an extra €240 per day. Our stay continues and I hope there are no other unpleasant surprises, but I will also be able to describe it in Booking.com.

I have been guest from 2016 after the opening.
The hotel service now is very bad. They scratched my car. They don’t clean room very good.
Air conditioning is very pure. My room was going maximum to 24 C and when I asked if it is possible to fix it they told me that it can only goes to 23.5 C because of the warm weather.
Then the room service after cleaning leaves the door of the terrace open and when we come back with the kids on the afternoon the room is 28C - they did that at least 5 times of our 10 night stay.

When they scratched my car - they told me that eventually they will look at the cameras - they don’t care at all.

Very bad experience. Will be my last stay.
By the way prices are increased and no wonder the hotel is almost empty.
Totally don’t recommend.
