Cathrin Hotel

After reading the reviews we were worried but we really didn't have to be. We had a great stay here, the staff were lovely, the grounds and pool great and the location was perfect for us. The food was varied and for the money it's hard to complain. It would be good to have tea or coffee facilities in the room and rather than 2 vehicle rental desks maybe one and a tour booking desk would have been better.
If you want a party holiday then this is probably not the hotel for you but it's peaceful, relaxing with access to the beach and a bus service to Falaraky and Rhodes town if needed
Overall a great stay and we are even thinking about coming back next year.and bringing our family with us

I stayed in Cathrin hotel on vacation and it was wonderful! The whole experience was perfect. A big thank you to all the staff, receptionists, bartenders, managers and entertainment team! I will definitely come back :)

Stayed 6 nights, the food in the restaurant was really good and some dishes were just great, plenty of choice of meat, fish, sea food (great octopus and mussles), fresh and cooked vegetables, condiments and spices, Greek corner with the freshest feta cheese and delightful onions olives and capers, don't eat bread but there were at least 5 different types of bread and rolls, lamb and pork stews were lovely spiced, breakfast bar offering 4 typed of eggs, beans bacon and sausages, and of course the continental style with plenty of delicious fruit and yoghurts meats and cheeses and a devine halva. Desserts were absolutely delicious too. Ice-cream basic but 5 different flavours. Plenty of juice and self-pour lager too. Snack bar twice a day. Drinks bar great offering different cocktails each night. Above all hats off to the staff working relentlessly in this heat cleaning up constantly during and between the meals. On arrival we received a bottle of sparkling wine and a selection of fruit to out room at no extra cost. Appetisers and a glass of fizz were available on arrival to the restaurant in the evening, again nice touch. Our bedroom was spacious and air-conditioned at no extra cost, nice and cool and working all night and day with no problems, beds were great (I prefer harder beds, not the ones you sink into and wake up with bad back). Room service maybe could be a bit better but every day we saw the same (only) couple of people providing room service again working in such conditions nobody would want to be working in, I simply felt sorry for them. It's possible too that you will simply miss the slot to have your room cleaned coz you're inside your room with the do not disturb sign on so it shouldn't be a big deal and next morning leave the room empty for the staff to do their job. Good entertainment every night. Staff very friendly on each front. Small Ladiko bay just 10 min walk with a small mini market by and a bus and taxi services available.

We originally booked a different hotel but when they had to close, we were reassigned to Cathrin. I read the reviews and did worry about some of them. However, from the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel welcomed and valued. All the staff were happy and always gave fantastic service with a smile. We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week here with the staff going out of their way to make it a brilliant holiday.
