Kresten Palace Hotel

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The food was delicious, the surroundings were beautiful and relaxing. A big thank you to Antonis, Fedra, Dabu, and Eleni – the best staff ever! Very friendly and professional. We felt truly welcome. Thank you so much – see you again!

We arrived at the hotel for a two-day vacation, the vendor we booked the hotel through did not make sure that our reservation was confirmed, as a result we experienced two stressful and humiliating days with the hotel staff. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience during my stay at the Kersten Palace Hotel Rhodos with the receptionist named Mrs. Nena. When I asked for her last name, she refused to give it, saying that hotel staff are not allowed to share their family names. Her behavior was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I often felt that she was deliberately trying to confuse or unsettle me. Instead of assisting me in a helpful and respectful manner, she repeatedly responded in a dismissive and disrespectful way. This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable, especially for someone working at the front desk – the first impression of the hotel. It was truly disappointing, especially since the rest of the stay could have been enjoyable. I sincerely hope that the management takes this kind of feedback seriously and works on improving the reception service. Courtesy, respect, and helpfulness should be standard – unfortunately, that was not the case here. A heartfelt thank you also to Mrs. Elena, the manager at the reception. She was very professional and truly tried to solve all the issues. I understand that her job is not easy – especially when she has to work alongside people like Mrs. Nena. The whole team was incredibly friendly, helpful, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Every meal at the restaurant was a wonderful experience – not only in terms of the food but also because of the wonderful people. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Eleni , the restaurant captain– she is the heart and soul of the place! Her presence, care, and leadership make a noticeable difference. Sincere thanks as well to Mrs. Margarita and Mrs. Niki, whose dedication and warmth helped make our stay truly unforgettable they’re both amazing!!!! This restaurant team is absolutely fantastic – a true example of hospitality and service excellence. They were the complete opposite of our experience at the reception. Their kindness and professionalism made us feel truly welcomed and cared for, despite any other challenges during our stay. Thank you all – you made our time here truly special!

Kresten Palace is what is says on the tin. The images online of the hotel are accurate , there is plenty to do in the hotel. We have just done a 7 days family trip in the deluxe family swim up room and if you can afford it we would recommend. There is a kids club with mini disco everyday at 8:30pm a small park and small kids pool / water park and does the job. The food is ok we wouldn’t choose half board again as not much variety and is very much the same daily. There is a on site mini market which is prefect for families and stocked with everything needed. 85% or staff can not do enough for you and really make the effort to make it the holiday we all wish for , however just like in any job and country you do come across the odd 15% who need re training in people skills and are clearly there for the money. Wanted to say a massive thank you to Sam on the front desk who went above and Beyond and Antonis and fedra from the outside Dinning area of the Olympus hotel restaurant ! On a separate note you need a taxi or bus to get anywhere from this hotel and can be quite challenging in high season. You are 20minutes either way to Rhodes or Falaraki.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The staff was incredible and always went above and beyond. Especially the staff in the Bar and the animation entertainment team. We went to mini disco daily and my little boy still wants me to play all the songs and dance! The rooms were basic but clean. The only big issue was the air conditioning which basically didn’t work. The floor around it was freezing but it didn’t do anything to the room. We asked the staff to have a look and was told to keep all doors and blinds shut, which we did and it didn’t nothing. It was so hot in the room that we struggled to sleep which left us tired for the rest of the holiday. The pool was amazing, nice and cool and plenty of room. Abundance of sun loungers so no need to reserve unless you want the shadier spot. The kids pool was amazing and and great for younger kids as it was near a tree that offered some shade. The pool area and pool bar were clean and the service was amazing, we got served quickly and drinks were incredible. The food by the pool was okay, it was extremely quick and fresh but some items on the menu where not as good as others. Would recommend the chips and pizza. The portions were really big as well. The Olympia restaurant was quite disappointing. You had to pay for drinks which was fine but would of been better if soft drinks were included. The food was not great. It was often bland and over cooked or too salty. There was a great selection but all food tasted similar and dishes that weren’t ate were sometimes served the next day but a lil bit different. The breakfast was standard and the same everyday. No variety of fruit just watermelon and oranges. I would not choose to go half board again. The highlight of the holiday was the bar. The building is new and the staff is incredible. The head waitress which we didn’t catch the name of was absolutely amazing. My son absolutely loved her. The cocktails were amazing and during happy hour quite cheap. Overall we had a lovely holiday and this hotel has so many amazing qualities but the we would not return here again.

We had a truly lovely experience staying at Kresten Palace and would gladly return! The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. A special thanks goes to the Mini Disco team, who brought so much joy and energy to the evenings – our children absolutely loved it! You made the nights unforgettable for them. We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Rofail and Erofili, two of the kindest and most service-minded waiters we have ever met. They were always friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome every single day. Their warm smiles and thoughtful service truly made a difference in our stay. I’m not going to lie here but the hotel is absolutely mint. The service and the entertainment is impeccable, special shout out to Raquel, Lucas, Seba and Erla, 10/10. Speaking to them felt like speaking to long lost friends, also full of suggestions of things to see and stuff to do. Would highly recommend to anyone :)

Me and my partner visited recently for the first time. Straight away we both said this is a resort we would definitely return to. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The food was delicious and plenty of options to choose from. We was upgraded on our room due to the room we booked not being available on the first night. The room was always clean and tidied and Raquel always did a fantastic job at making sure we returned to a clean room and was friendly and polite when talking to us. The animation team were super friendly and always tried to include everyone in their activities. Kiko was amazing in particular, funny and took the time to get to know both of us.

I stayed here for a week with my friend. Absolute no fault to anything. The hotel is gorgeous and in an amazing area. The entertainment staff / staff in general could not be more kind and welcoming. The entertainment itself was incredible - we looked forward to every day and evening , full of fun and laughter. Such a lovely team of people who made our stay completely rememberable. (spice girls :)
