Tsampika Hotel Faliraki

This is a very honest review.

If you have high expectations, pay more and don’t go here. If you’re a couple or someone who wants to travel all day and only come here to sleep, this is the perfect option. Or if you’re looking for a hotel with clean rooms in a good location for a budget holiday. I don’t recommend this hotel for families with young children who want entertainment. I think it’s different during July/august where there are lots of guests but when we went in October, there was barely anyone.

Unfortunately, although this is a three star, we were slightly disappointed and underwhelmed with our experience here.

The rooms were clean and were cleaned everyday. This is a family-run business. Unfortunately, the staff aren’t very professional. I felt like I was more in an Airbnb than a hotel. The staff vape in the pool area and they look like they are forced to be there. The receptionist is an old lady who is nice but she and her husband lack professionalism especially when we checked in and they were a little rude. It seems like nothing but it doesn’t give you a good first impression. The man sleeps on the sofa!! It was so funny seeing the faces of new guests checking in!

All inclusive is NOT all inclusive!! There were no snacks during the day (except for a few dry biscuits at 5pm) and the cups and buffet/restaurant area were dirty. It put me off. The food was nice sometimes but some days we just had chips and salad because unfortunately there was nothing for vegetarians.

The location is great. Near a highway but it’s quiet in the hotel in a road full of budget hotels. 10 minute walk to the beach. Next to a shop with good prices and it has everything you need.

please think twice before booking, it will be okay for short term stay but not long term.
Came on a girls trip as reviews when we booked and rooms looked good, once checked in our room was nothing like portrayed and rather small!
The shower in the bathroom had no door/shower curtain leading to the whole bathroom floor being soaked continuously.
The food selection is very small, and was cold most nights leading to us having to eat out of the hotel majority of the holiday.
The drinks were ok the coke syrup had something wrong with it tho, dirty cups even tho they’d just been washed. not expected of an all inclusive.
The location is a 10 min walk from the strip so very convenient for that, despite all the owner was very friendly.
