We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel right on the hillside with a view of the caldera. Our junior suite was very nice and spacious. We were able to enjoy the unique sunsets of Santorini from our balcony. We also had a wonderful view of the sea from the bed and were able to watch the sunrise and sunset from there. The breakfast was delicious and varied. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location of the pool with the super comfortable loungers was fantastic. On the day of departure we were able to use our room until 4 p.m., which was very pleasant and relaxing for us. Thank you again. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Amazing view. Big pool with wide area to sit around it. Walking distance to the heart of the city. Be careful, there are a lot of stairs to go up and down
The breakfast could be better for the rate we paid per night.

The Agali house is a beautiful stone hotel carved in the side of the mountain. The scenic views are unlike anything we’ve ever experienced in the states however be prepared to die when you walk 188 steps from the bottom room to the top. You will sweat

Excellent hotel, very nice location, very here helpful staff. Eleftheria and Miltos were very supportive of our needs. Even after check out, we were allowed to keep luggage there, go for our excursions and when we came back, were allowed to take shower before we left.
Rooms were very nice, excellent view and very clean.

Location location location - fantastic views of the water, caldera & sunset. I would definitely highly recommend staying here.

The entire resort was well thought of - rooms have ample space and almost all have fantastic views, bathrooms are well appointed, pool area is just lovely, breakfast is decent and food and drink menu by the bar is limited but reasonable and good. Service is good overall.

Rooms - I wouldn’t recommend the suites because there is only one AC unit serving the living area and bedroom - not ideal. But other room configurations are fine. Bathrooms are good - for some reason, Greece hotel rooms don’t have a shower curtain or a door, so be prepared to have a slightly wet floor but it’s cleaned daily.

Pool is large enough for the size of the resort. Water was not heated in July so relative to the outside hot air temps, it felt colder (strangely). There’s just one guy behind the bar serving drinks and taking food orders, but it was fine. Pool only opens at 11AM and closes by sunset - strangely.

Be prepared for a descent and therefore an ascent of 100 steps just to get to the entrance of the resort. Then it’s a few steps down for the reception & breakfast terrace and area, few more for the pool and some rooms and even more steps if your room is further down. I calculated 153 steps for my room! If you’re not in good cardio health, please consider another property - not just this hotel but others are the same too - do your research.

Overall - loved the property and would definitely return. ❤️👍🏼

Location : View/scenery was perfect and worth every cent i paid! Although the stairs were torturing but it was a good work out! It was about 10-15 mins walk to Fira/shops & restaurants.
Service : Staff were super friendly and answered all our questions/worries. Assisted to arrange for airport transfers and car rental, super quick to act. 1 of the guy carried 2 of our luggages down the stairs to the hotel, we were so grateful for that!
Room : Room was smaller than I expected but still love it! Toilet lights were a bit dim but all’s fine, airconditioning and water heater works perfect. Wish they had more channels for tourists on the TV, or netflix to chill. Yes to sunset but no sunrise view.

Overall: Super happy with my stay! Very romantic for couples!

Very nice small hotel with just 30+ rooms. Friendly staff and great location on a hill overlooking the calderas. Perfect for a few days of relaxing.
