Belvedere

This hotel is amazing!
The views are stunning, the room was clean and the pool is great too. It's in an ideal location. You're a 15min costal walk from Fira and a 25min walk from the best sunset spot on the Island (Not Oia). There are a few restaurants near the hotel too if you wanted to stay local.

The reception staff were great. They helped us decide where to go and they arranged a car rental for us to explore the island too.

There are only two tiny things that I wasn't a fan of. The breakfast was average and the staff in the pool area didn't seem to work to the same high standard as the reception staff.

The biggest tip I'd give to anyone thinking of booking this hotel is to check what room you're being assigned to before arriving. We were first placed in a room next to the hotel reception and the balcony wasn't private. After one disturbed nights sleep, we asked to move. Our second room (same price) was 10x better with a garden terrace. It was by far the best hotel room I've stayed in. If I was guaranteed that room every time, I'd always stay at this hotel when visiting Santorini.

The staff at Belvedere couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Chris on reception was very helpful when we arrived giving recommendations. The hotel is in Firostefani, which is a quieter area than the bustle of Fira, it felt a more relaxing and laid back atmosphere. However Fira is only a 10-15 walk away.
The hotel was beautiful, rooms nice and very clean, the views were absolutely incredible. A caldera view is 100% worth it to watch the sunset from your balcony.

Our only very small issues were that the pool was cold, but likely due to the time of year (Oct) and also at breakfast there's limited seating inside and most seating is outside, so at this time of year it's hit or miss whether you'll be eating against the wind! I also found the pillows uncomfortable, but I usually have orthopedic at home.

Apart from these very minor things, overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

We stayed for 5 nights here and loved every minute of it. Location was perfect and the staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We stay in room 108 and had the most amazing views. Management were amazing, but the staff from housekeeping, pool and bar staff were so accommodating and nothing was too hard for them. 10 stars out of 5!!! So great!

We stayed 5 nights at Belvedere Suites and I was super impressed from the moment I checked in. Our room had a superb view and the hotel is very well located. Marina, Chris and Chris helped us with everything from restaurant recommendations, to activities, to finding our way around the island, They were there to answer every question and to attend to our every need (including calling a monastery I wanted to visit because we don't speak Greek). Moral of the story, Marina, Chris and Chris were switched on, super attentive, and helped us from a genuine place and with a big smile. Thank you for making our stay so memorable :)

We enjoyed everything here, however, for a 5 star hotel and the price we paid, we expected a much better breakfast. The spread was way too small, not that fresh, and not enough of it. The only coffee offered was from an instant machine, no Greek coffee or Frappe. I've had much better breakfast at cheaper places around the world, so please improve!

We came here for our Wedding and stayed for a week either side of the Ceremony. The views from the pool/breakfast area are the best in Firostefani. The staff have been so attentive and friendly when called apon. Breakfast has been good, not much variation but the Greek yoghurt and honey has been a delight. Pool is very refreshing and clean with a spectacular backdrop of the Caldera. My only criticism would be the lack of eating space when the hotel is fully booked as this was an issue on a few occasions during breakfast. We loved our stay!

Came to Belvedere with my boyfriend for 11 nights, it was an absolutely wonderful hotel in the most amazing location! Easy walking distance to Fira and from the bus station. I have to dedicate this review to Vanessa though and please do give her the amazing praise and love she deserves! I must have hounded her so many times as I left my £360 Chloe sunglasses in one of the local taxis and she absolutely went above and beyond to get them. Plus she is the most amazing, happiest human being ever and just made our stay even more wonderful! Such an amazing stay! Cali xx
