Some things were ageing or not working in the (amazing) cave apartment itself - but nothing major, and to be fair we were staying there late in the year / out of season (after a hugely busy peak summer period) but for us, the minimal crowds made the whole Santorini experience all the better :) more importantly, the Villa staff and overall service - plus the amazing location/ views?!.... - more than made up for it.
Would definitely recommend and would love to return, if not for another early / late season visit then when we've saved up enough!

First ever experience to Santorini, searched over a lot of travel guide websites to book this one at Dana Villas suites, yes the place is exotic but not as depicted over images on the websites.
Stayed here for 2 days, but it was worth it.

The room is far from what you can expect from the pictures on the website (we had a junior suite, nothing like on the website picture). The bathroom is very small and looks like nothing you could expect in a 4 stars hotel.
On the plus side: the view is great, the staff is friendly, the bed is comfortable and the wifi works well.

Stayed here in 2015 for a friends wedding amazing apartment and suits! Staff so helpful and friendly and the swimming pool jacuzzi has amazing views! Best place for relaxation or just nice romantic escape!

The staff was amazing from the time we arrived and carried our luggage over their backs down several flights of stairs to changing our excursions due to weather changes. The staff is the BEST and the rooms and view is amazing! The walk to downtown Thera along the Caldera is beautiful and makes you feel like you can eat extra since you are getting a workout at the same time. The food here and everywhere we went in Thera was amazing!! I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

The Service was Exceptional!! The staff does EVERYTHING to make you feel like royalty. I had so much fun interacting with them. The room was BEAUTIFUL the view was EPIC! We WILL BE BACK

I booked my whole trip around this room! Hotel was beautiful, albeit many steps to get down to. The staff was very friendly and brought us wine on our first night along with deserts on both nights! Got at a massage at the Soma Spa on site and the staff was great! Also get my hair done for the photo shoot and they did a wonderful job! Amazing rooms, views, and service! Would love to stay here again in the future!

+ Excellent alacart menu with many choises. Amazing Design rooms that reflect Santorinian culture. Helpfull and smiling staff will always assure you are happy.- Many stairs but this is Santorini!!

I went to Dana Villas for my brother's wedding. It was an amazing location. The staff was so accommodating. The wind conditions in April is bad though, but the view is amazing and that definitely makes up for it. One of the best places to watch the sunset in Santorini in my opinion.
