The view of the hotel is breathtaking and the history of the rooms are also amazing.
BUT, for being a “5 stars hotel” it lacks of many things.
First, we received our suite which had a terrible noise all night, luckily they were able to change our rooms to another location (they managed to solve it).
The “upgraded” room had no warm water and we mentioned it and they were no able to fix it.
Second, the service was okay; nevertheless, upon our arrival the waiter said to my boyfriend as a joke if he also find out the waitress good looking ?? (Are you kidding me? …So disrespectful). Overall the service was very basic, receiving food we didn’t order, very chaotic.
And third but not least, on our last day I was packing my last things only to realized my new bathing suit was missing! I managed to take everything out from my luggage before giving a complaint. Since I didn’t find it, made the report. They decided to go and help with the search, they didn’t find and suggested to call laundry (perhaps the cleaning took it by mistake with the sheets and towels). They also searched inside my luggage, until they called laundry.
Unfortunately they were not able to find it before me leaving, but they did later that day.
Sadly, it was me who had to do a follow up every week to know the status of my package, but it should have been them reaching out to me since it was their fault.
As I said in the beginning, breathtaking view, but there are many other good hotels around which can give oh a better service.
