Divine Cave Experience

Service was amazing. They were very attentive to our needs and fixed any issue immediately.
Breakfast was so good and gave varieties for everyone's taste.
The hot tub was so relaxing however, it was not as private as I thought cause the hiking path from Fira to Oia is just in front of it so everyone pasding by can see you very clearly unless you close the curtains but then you miss on the view.
Sunset is more to the left of the hotel, so it's hard to see full sunset from your view, but you see most of it.
The view from their restaurant is amazing and gives full view for both sunrise and sunset.

This hotel is beautiful and unique. I love this hotel . The service here is great. Two beautiful receptions is nice and friendly. Breakfast is the only thing they should improve. Because it is not delicious . I was impressed of two waiter they are so active , kind and helpful . His name are Petros and Aris .

It was a fun, unique experience and it felt like living in a cave. The private pool was amazing but it didn't overlook the sea as the path was blocking the way. The washroom was not great, the door knobs are so clumsy and doors are too heavy and don't open properly. The sink was not efficient. Water leaks from the shower doors. Breakfast room was good and food not bad. Cobblestone path unpaved at the back was very dangerous! Especially in the dark without lights for seniors.

Devine Cave Experience
We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and left very happy. The service all around was five stars, starting from the time we checked in. The staff allowed us in our room before “check in time.” The restaurant, bar and house keeping staff always gave us big natural smiles. I only encountered one issue, our waitress was also our bartender who had very minimum cocktail mixing experience. DCE, please don’t take offense, just my honest opinion. The following is just constructive criticism, I’m giving the sunset view from the room a 4 star because lack of privacy from the jacuzzi, the walking trail can get a full view of the room and jacuzzi since the the trail sits higher than the hotel setting. The hotel offers a 100% private cabana (not accesible to the walking trail) however, I feel that for the hotel concept they could had built an infinite pool there and not where is placed.

We travel a lot seriously it is a Great hotel very different from anything we ever experienced.
When you go for breakfast ask for Petros he is amazing great help told us where to go and what to do on the island

You need to know what you're getting here. You can look at the photos on the website and by the fellow travellers, but know that the Fira to Oia walk goes right outside your rooms. However...this isn't going to be any different at pretty much any other cliffside hotel in santorini. I walked a good bit of the way from the hotel to Fira (about 1 hr if you are walking slow); EVERY hotel is not going to be private. And honestly this one is more private than most. Nobody can see through the curtains into your room during the day, and at night you can close the curtains on the hot tub and it's still completely private. Aside from sound, I guess.

Keep in mind that the food & drink prices are also absurd. $22 for a burger, $20 pizza, $10-$20 cocktails -- walk to Imorvigli for 10 minutes for some good restaurants, but anywhere else you'll need a car / hire a taxi. Breakfast is free and very delicious.

The hotel serves only 10 rooms at a time, so staff on-site is limited. We attended in April at the very beginning of tourist season, so things weren't very busy, and the staff did a great job of taking care of us. However I could see how others would have problems with how slow it can be sometimes. I came for the views, the room design, the attached hot tub, and I had an excellent experience. I would recommend the spa as well, even though it's expensive it's well worth it; you do massage & have time to soak in the sauna & shower as well.

We just had a wonderful stay at Divine Cave Experience.

Andrew and Giannis were wonderful and had great suggestions for the whole island, very friendly and welcoming with a smile and had great knowledge.

Rooms were nicely laid out, and hot tub overlooking caldera was a huge bonus. There is the famous walking trail from fira to oia directly outside of all rooms, so expect people to walk by and look into your room.

Breakfasts were very tasty and filling. We did have dinner here once, but thought the food was only ok for dinner, wheras the breakfasts were superb.

There was a hair straightener inside of the room which my wife was very happy about.

Our only quarrel was the location, it was very difficult to walk anywhere at night during shoulder season as the walkways are not lit up, and restaurants in the vicinity are closed.

Overall, our experience at divine cave.... was simply divine.
