Nice spacious rooms, good food. Not enough waiting Staff, Kids playground indoor and outdoor old/broken. Not enough sunbeds on the beach. A la carte restaurant serves food from the Buffet.

Excellent facilities , nice room, nice location, nice food! The only problem was that some people that work there were very unhelpful! I should ask for something 10 times before I could see results! The only people that knew their job was Eirini at the reception, Kwstas at the restaurant and the boys at the pool bar. The other employers didn’t know their job.

With its lovely views of the ocean and sun umbrellas up, we pulled in for a coffee and a break - alas, there is no provision for a coffee and or a drink outside of meal times. The lady in the dinning room was apologetic but couldn't help. Place appeared clean and tidy - albeit that this was early in the season.

We were there in 2016, before renovation. Hotel is very clean and regularly cleaned up. Private suites with pool are awesome!!! When Main pool is closed you can calm swim in yours pool, even on midnight (it's worth try :) ) During the eight days of the stay, themed evenings with the cuisine of various regions were organizerd. The hotel has a well-stocked shop with a wide range of assortment.

Lovely room .Big comfy beds .Food tasty and lots of it .Buses outside run regularly to Platanias .Great play area for children .Sadly no entertainment at night .

Fabulous hotel with first class accommodation and facilities. Perfect place to come to if you are looking for total relaxation. Staff are warm and friendly a true example of Cretan hospitality. Would happily return

Great hotel. The food could be a bit better but it's buffet so understandable. Great staff, super helpful, especially the lady running the pool bar. Room was modern and clean. The beach is a mix of stones and sand. People giving the hotel a bad review because of the beach are a bit ridiculous.

I spent 10 wonderful days in June 2021. Among the beautiful pools, clean rooms, heavenly food. All people are very polite and nice. Eleni and Stelios, you are the best! You made my vacation! I ❤ you!🤗

Great Hotel! The food is very good. Two nice pools, rooms are spacious and clean and just 1min walk from the beach and 20min car ride to Chania. You will get a great value for the price.

Thank you Thea for making us very welcome. Loved our stay at Caretta, we had room serviced every day, the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent, loved katerina’s delicious cakes and jams!!!! The orange jam was to die for!!! and the grape one and the strawberry jam! Katerina you are an excellent cook 🙂 Would recommend

Stayed here for a few nights and had a really good experience. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast had a good variety and all good quality including daily fresh cake and delicious homemade marmalade from Katerina. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to relax and enjoy the beach, next to turtle nests. Forget about the crazy and speedy world and get lazy at the pool bar with good Greek beer or cocktails while looking at the wide sea in front of you. Don't worry for snacks, meals or drinks, the seaview restaurant has a comprehensive menu, with daily specialties, cooked so well and so tastefully. Breakfast with plenty of choices but also...

Hotel is very good. Personal is very friendly and helpful, they tried to help us with any question we had. Thanks a lot to Thea. Rooms are very clean, we had daily cleaning. We had very late check-in, and personal waited till midnight only for us. They also allowed us to stay later in check-out day. Breakfasts are very good, portions are big. Very nice apartments right on the beach, excellent price/quality, super friendly staff, clean pool, super market and restaurants a couple of minutes walk.

When you want to escape, find yourself, lose your gaze on the natural beauties, enjoy wonderful hospitality, you have no choice but to visit this wonderful place that preserves its past with all the modern comforts. Simply wonderful!!!

We've just came back from vacation at this hotel and I couldn't rate it less than 5 stars. Rooms in the hotel and the area around are renovated and really clean. New beds and sofas that are really comfortable and we had better sleep than at home. All the people working there are extremely helpful and kind. Very peaceful place, just by the beach, which is private, only the guests of the hotel use it...

Lovely small hotel with incredibly nice and fun staff. The restaurant is classic Greek and quite good. They also make great coffee variations. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious but they could use some refurbishment here and there. Everything else you could need is within walking distance.

Nice staff, good food and right on the beach. Bus stop about 1 kilometer away and the supermarket is close by. The rooms are ok but very warn down. The bar close fairly early. The beach is nice but bring bathing shoes, there's a lot of stones entering the water. Snorkeling not good.

Very nice staff, great food and clean rooms. Room service made cleanings every day. Room had all of equipment you need - oven, coffee-maker, etc. Nice and wide beach, quiet and clean territory. A bit bad Wi-Fi, you have to search a place with good speed. There is a supermarket nearby when you can buy everything you need. Great hotel for family rest, highly recommend.

We didn't stay here but we used their beach sunbeds and ate there in the afternoon every day, the meals were excellent and staff very helpful, the owner told us we were free to use the pool which was nice, the place looks very clean and well looked after.

IT WAS AMAZING I LOVED IT WE HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME I even saw a kareta kareta(wow) It's very peaceful, with a nice atmosphere. It is owned by a very friendly family, that instantly made us feel comfortable.I surely recommend this place if you want to be calm on vacation and have a delicious meal or a cocktail at the beach. I really don't see why some people say that they didn't liked it here. I hope...

Was here for 10 days july 2023, Kostas Lisa and their kids were fab, anything we wanted was sorted, food on site was tops. Kostas sourced my favourite meats while in Greece...(goat and rabbit) and prepared delicious meals...situated on the beach and a bus ride from Platanias and Chania...cannot praise the family enough...We will be back.. Adrian and Carmel.

We stayed in a hotel nearby but we often ate at Hippokratis Beach Bar. It’s a very pleasant place with great and affordable food and with GREAT staff. The sign on the beach says “Everybody is welcome” and it really is like that. It felt like home!

We had room in the nearby appartments went to Hippokratis daily for drinks food and swimming in their pool. It's family run place with great customer service. We felt welcome every time we went there. The food was great everytime. Owners are very heartwarming and nice people and place and pool is clean and cozy. From bar you can literally throw a rock to beach. Very nice place when traveling with children

Beautiful space spread over several floors. Very uniquely built! 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. And of course the swimming pool with outdoor shower!
