Venetian manor of the XV century situated in the old town of Rethymno, a short walk from museums, the beach, numerous cafes, restaurants, shops and Nightclubs. Recommend for romantic couples.
Location: 80 km from Heraklion airport, 65 km from the city of Chania. In the centre of the Old town of Rethymno. A bus stop 250 metres from the hotel.
Evening entertainment - Rethymno (300 m).
The structure belongs to the Venetian era of the mid-fifteenth century.
Only 23 rooms (there are rooms without a balcony).
Beach: public, sandy (800 m away), rocky (100 m away), 2 line. On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. Beach towels: no.

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel. Service was immaculate, staff so friendly and helpful. The best place to visit Rethymno. On the edge of the old town, everything within walking distance. Voula is a very nice host and makes you feel at home.
The rooms are very complete and have comfortabel beds.

+ The hotel has a lot of charm, its location is ideal, in the old town, close to tourist activities, restaurants and shops. + The suites and rooms (in reduced numbers) have everything you need for a pleasant stay. + Breakfast quality, hearty and varied. ~ The staff is friendly. -We were outside, the tranquility in the room was sometimes disturbed by a vehicle noisier than others passing in front of the hotel. Like most hotels in Crete, double glazing on the windows would be a plus to reduce noise and save some money on air conditioning.

I had a wonderful stay at the Palazzo Vecchio for ten nights and would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, small, ideally located hotel to explore the beautiful city of Rethymnon and the rest of Crete. It was clean, comfortable (huge bed!), and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Five minutes walk from any number of bars and restaurants, and 50 meters from a rocky beach where you can swim and snorkel. We liked it x

What a wonderful small hotel. Hospitality fantastic. Service fantastic. Staff fantastic. Situated just at the edge of the old town this beautiful Venetian residence is perfectly located. The staff are excellent and always available and very helpful. We will return. This hotel is a credit to the owners 10/10 👍

This is a very good choice for adults🥰 The rooms are big and bright, the breakfast is super fresh and truly amazing, with good variety of warm food, fruits from the owners own garden, and homemade cakes and jams every day! You eat breakfast outside in the common area next to the pool.
The owners and staff is simply adorable and so helpful! The rooms come with a safe and a mini kitchen with a fridge and AC, overall very happy and would recommend it for anyone who wants to live in the old town.
The cleaners are thorough and very kind
- it take around 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach, but you can go in the shadows trough the old town and do some windowshopping on hour morning walk

Had a lovely ten night stay at Palazzo Vecchio and would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, small, perfectly located hotel for exploring the beautiful town of Rethymno and the rest of Crete. It was clean, comfortable (huge bed!) and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Five minutes walk from any number of bars and restaurants and a rocky stretch of beach within 50 metres for swimming and snorkelling. We loved it x
