Almost a week in paradise! We stayed at North Coast Seaside Luxury Suites in June 2024, and it became our HQ and recharging station for trips around the island.

We fell in love with the apartment from the online photos (especially the kitchen – crucial for us!), and the balcony with a sea view was everything we dreamed of.

Every morning, we lived the ‘breakfast with orange juice on the balcony’ cliché, and we loved it!

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the place well-kept, and since it’s a smaller building, it felt cozy and never crowded. The beach access was perfect, with our own sunbeds that were always well-maintained. A real hidden gem!

Great location with easy access to beautiful Rethymno, plus parking by the lifeguard tower made everything easy.

We've never gone back to the same vacation spot twice, but North Coast might just change that! 🌅🍊

A beautiful location by the sea, 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Rethymno. We booked 2 rooms for 4 people, but their system showed only 2 people. It was a Booking error, and they weren't very cooperative, charging us for breakfast for the 'extra' guests. We had to resolve it with Booking. Our room near the street was noisy. The Cretan breakfast omelette was watery, and the bread soaked it up. Breakfast was served in a container, nothing like the pictures. The classic menu was better but not worth 15 euros. Clean room, small but well-equipped bathroom.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Rethymnon town. It's located right in front of Koumbes Beach, alongside other holiday homes.

The suite was very new and well-maintained. We had a room on a higher floor facing the main road, which could be a bit noisy with the balcony door open.

The property has a lift, making it easy to move our luggage. There's an open carpark with a small entrance leading to the beach, which you have to drive slowly to notice.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was pleasant. The rooms were clean with modern design and located close to several restaurants and cafes. The rooftop area was a favorite of mine for enjoying a quiet sunset, as there were no crowds when we were there. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the room included a washer and breakfast.

The only drawback is that you'll definitely need to drive if you want to explore Rethymnon town, as it's quite a distance to walk from the accommodation to the town center. Considering the price we paid, I think this hotel offers good value.

Great location on the beach, room's are brand new with smart TV Netflix ect. Hosts friendly, plenty of shop's nearby, short walk to Rethymno old town for the evening lots of bar's and restaurants. Would recommend 👍🏻

My stay at North Coast was supposed to be my 3rd visit to Crete just this summer. To give you some context - previously I stayed at Ikones and then Anemos. I got fed up with the rat race at big resorts and wanted to try something different. Once, while driving towards Galera (my favorite restaurant in town), we passed by the beautiful sparkling new building of North Coast Seaside Suites so I earmarked it for the future. It has a great location, right next to the cluster with the best restaurants (Galera, Prima Plora and 7 Thalasses).
There was a problem with my payment details and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure my reservation is honored.
Unfortunately, we couldn't make it to Crete due to a family emergency at the last second. The team at North Coast was extremely understanding, kind and flexible - they offered us to use the reservation in the future. They didn't have to do that, it was past the point of fee cancellation. I'm amazed by this level of genuine friendliness and hospitality.
In years of travelling I've come to the conclusion that service is the most important part of a hotel. Service here is on point. I didn't get to see the rooms in person but I'm sure they'll live up to the beautiful exterior of the building .
Skip the crowds at the big hotels nearby and support these fantastic people.

Nice place to stay; seaview is breathtaking, appartment looks nice(a coffee machine would really make it top)

Very good hotel. Nice and very modern premises. Wonderful view next to Rethymno. Has verycgood Restaurants nearby.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
