Lito Hotel

Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Food is repetitive but delicious. Don’t let the 3 start put you off, before I arrived I read the reviews and was so worried. Here now and it’s such a lovely hotel. The owner/management seem to be really pleasant. The owner cannot speak as he has a condition so we have been told, there for this may be why other reviewers say he looks grumpy, he’s not I’m sure he’s a lovely man. We haven’t had a single issue during our stay. Pure respect to the cleaning ladies as there are 2 and one cleans one side of the hotel rooms and the other on the other side, they could easily be cleaning up to 30/50 rooms a day as there are 102 rooms in this hotel, so if there is a cleaning issue I’m sure it’s not on purpose, they have a busy day on their hands especially in the heat. Bartenders are lovely and so are the waitresses in the diner. Our room got cleaned daily & towel change daily, our bed even got stripped and re made with fresh bedding each day. There is no fighting for sun loungers as there are plenty of them, there are lounges on the beach just over the road that belong to the hotel (free of charge). Supermarket just next door and plenty bars/restaurants if you turn left or right from the hotel, also a bus stop just outside the Sheraton hotel, on the left of this hotel. Tickets are €1.80 single fare, that can be purchased in the supermarket next door, it takes you straight into the old town.

Just come back from a lovely stay! Was surprised as didn’t expect much from a 3 star, but located in a great area you have the option to get the bus into Rhodes or walk into ixia which we found a great sports bar with amazing food called dimitrios! Staff cleaned room every day and new fresh towels everyday with complementary robe and slippers, bed is soooo comfy didn’t want to leave! And great aircon in room with a mini fridge for drinks, nice quiet pool side with free rubber rings you can use, beach right opposite with free sun beds, we didn’t go all inclusive just self catering but ordered food from bar and got burger and chips for just €3 and it was lovely! Cocktails from bar only €4 and beer is €3 the staff work very hard! Overall had a great stay and think it’s located in a great area! Will definitely be coming back :)

Hotel nice and clean, private beach with free sun beds ( plenty of them) is just over very busy road, pool side is kept clean, but boring as no entertaiment during the day, decent food, drinks on all inclusive okay, after 11pm you have to pay 4€ for it (bar open until 1am), rooms bit outdated, but clean and beds comfortable, nice views from balcony if you in sea side room. In general nice and quiet hotel. Close to Rhodes old town (taxi 10€, 15 mins drive). Plenty of shops and restaurants around.

Don’t let the 3 star of this hotel fool you! Just been for a week and can’t wait to return, paid for an inland view without realising and on arrival we were given a sea view room with the best ever views! Basic room but it does what you need it to. Gorgeous pool and pool area very well maintained by the lifeguard and bar staff, the night time bar man(didn’t get his name) was outstanding and friendly. Make sure to try the meals from the pool bar.. the gyros and burgers and soo good and amazing value for money as is the buffet food at breakfast and dinner. Great location for all the bars and restaurants and the beach is literally over the road(which unfortunately is a nightmare to get over).

I was staying first time at Lito hotel and it was great. Olena housekeeper she was absolutely lovely and I was grateful for her as the other housekeepers were not up to scratch. Xenofon works in reception is such a credit to hotel he goes extra mile to accommodate guests , polite , friendly, communicating and helpful. Also Jota was lovely receptionist. Astrid at bar so lovely great attentive friendly helpful. Kitchen Yannis is such a great chef. There was nothing I didn't like. Food was beautiful tasty and I liked the variety . Also Giorgos was lovely chef. Jana who works in restaurant and the bar such a lovely person. Helpful communicative goes extra mile for guests. Speaks Slovak Czech English so she can help people who doesn't really speak the language which not every hotel have this perks of multilingual staff. She is also credit to the hotel. Owners are lovely people it was really nice to know them. My stay was amazing I would return anytime.

Stayed there at the start of September. Went all inclusive. Overall I found the hotel to be very good.

All the staff were freindly and helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything you need in them, including decent air con. I had a balcony with a sea view, which was nice especially at sunset.

The pool is quite small. However modern and clean. Also a lifeguard on duty. Plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, seating and tables. Again all in good working order.

There was a good variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was happy with the food and drinks offered. Between the main meals, you can get soft drinks and beers from the pool bar. There are also snacks and ice creams, which you can help yourself to.

The hotel is directly opposite the beach. There's a section of sun beds and umbrellas directly opposite. I used them everyday and nobody approached me for money, so assume that they were the hotels.

Loads of supermarkets etc nearby if you need anything.

There's bus stops directly outside the hotel which will take you to the airport or Rhodes Old Town. The buses are very cheap. Just inconsistent. Don't think there's an actual timetable and sometimes they turn up full. The drivers seem to like starting arguments at any given opportunity, so that was a good bit of free entertainment.

In summary I think the hotel offers good value for money. I would definitely stay there again. If you've got deeper pockets, there's a 5 star and 4 start hotel either side, which again looked nice, but I imagine more pricey.

Hotel Lito offers a great, cheaper alternative to those.
