The hotel has an excellent location, close to the sea. Nice, stylish and clean room. Charming and serviceminded staff. The outdoor area was in good condition and so was the pool area. Possible to have all the meals at the hotel, but we only had breakfast. Highly recommended!

Nice pools, great and helpful staff, minuts from the beaches, daily fresh towels and bed sheets. Easy to get taxis and algo buses at the corner. Big Supermarket at the corner with everything you need and also you can cook in the hotel room. I had a blast on the island .

It’s what you’d expect from a 3 star I guess. Hard, uncomfortable beds, everything just barely works (fridge on full and barely chilling the contents) and ants all over (in the kitchen). Nice and clean and private. Location is near to everything. Surroundings are not so nice but that does not bother on the pool. Food and drinks are good. Overall service is good. Ikaros was what quality / price I have never found in Greece. The new rooms, the 50 "smart TV, the induction cooker are things that are rarely seen. Demanding apartment! There is WiFi, pool, air-conditioned rooms, they were nice to take out the trash every day and the sheets are changed after 3 days! Absolutely lovely. Stayed at this traditional Greek lodging house lots of times with Frank and family. Super friendly, spotlessly clean and, if you have the breakfast, it's one of the best views on the Island and the food is first class. Although I love the location do be aware that it is on a hill, and that going anywhere from Taxiarchis involves both steep up and down.

Rooms are nicer than many basic Greek apartments, and included a double bed, which is unusual. Plenty of towels available although the kitchen utensils were sparse, only two mugs for three of us, for example. We had an amazing stay with our 5 children. Our youngest daughter birthday was very well celebrated they made a cake with candles and sing Creek birthday song all together The areas island how you imagine Greece it would be for 1000f years ago. Freshly renovated rooms and bathrooms. The view over Pedi Bay - not the island main harbour - is lovely and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful (except for the occasional goat or poultry). The family that runs it goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. A relaxing place of quiet beauty.

Stayed for 6 nights and we loved our stay. The hotel is in a perfect location 2 minutes from the harbour, restaurants and taxi boats. Carlo and Daniel go above and beyond with your stay and recommend all the great things to do on the island. Breakfast is delicious. Rooms are made every day. Definitely stay here.

This hotel has a European aesthetic while blending in perfectly with the character of the island. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it for anyone visiting Symi. It is also in close proximity to the port. Great experience!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, with tastefully and meticulously decorated suites overlooking breath-taking views. Fabulous team led by the lovely Frances and Andrew, who made us feel so welcome and provided everything we could want, including mouth-watering dishes, beautifully presented. Cannot recommend the Old Markets enough.
