We stayed here when we visited Rhodes. It was a beautiful and amazing hotel, very close to Rhode's old town. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, from the team at the reception to the staff at the different bars and restaurants.
We stayed here in May 2024. Should have written a review then, but only thinking to now as I am trying to rebook to stay again this year. We had the most amazing time at this hotel. The value we got for money was unbelievable. The buffet was fair and always found something to eat. The restaurants by the pool that you would sit and order to your table were absolutely fabulous. The a la carte restaurants...
I booked a room for me and my family on July in 2024. The hotel's front office service met us so cheerful. They offered us, could upgrade our room for free. Thanks for that. We admired to our new room's landscape. Foods had good quality. Waiters in main restaurant were interested in the tables. They had good communication to our kids despite of didn't know each other's languages. We liked also alacarte...
First time to rhodes and i was very impressed. The hotel is beautiful, clean and modern, tradional style bedroom (i think) but very spacious, very comfortable bed. Every single staff member was happy, always smiling and very helpful. All the food was amazing, great decent drinks and a huge choice of cocktails. I absolutely could not fault one thing. Great sea view room. Walking distance to new...
Our stay was amazing! First the food selections is unbelievable, 2 bars, 3 restaurants, buffet and an additional special resturants and branch you can choose from. The most important is the stuff, super smiling always helping and welcoming even in the odd hours of the night (some restaurant open until 2 or 4 at night). The only downside if i nitpick is that the hotel is not new and it is shown a...
My 1st time in this hotel. The location and the service are perfect . very very nice team. The variety of restaurants and food is excellent, and the quality is very, very good. Their rooms do need some shape up upgrade, but they’re still good. there is a show every night with a different band and kind of music. They have an excellent option of shower room if you already made your check out but leave...

Couldn’t call this a 5 star hotel at all. Be wary of room descriptions… my “sea view” room look at three buildings and faced neither Aegean or Mediterranean Sea. Instead of you stand on the balcony and lean over and look directly left you get a small glimpse of see its misleading. Breakfast buffet is a joke. You can’t get fresh juice, you can’t get a barista made coffee, you can’t even get a seat...
Amazing service at the reception ,Mrs Maria very dedicate and professional to her job!we loved also the dishes at the restaurant !We had a lovely room ,cleaned everyday .All beyond our expectations!Thank you ❤️
The staff is very attentive, the cleanliness is exemplary, the food is diverse and very good. the restaurant and everything related to the restaurant is impeccable. the pool is a little small for what I expected. the receptionists, waiters, waitresses, all very attentive to details and to the needs of the customers. This hotel deserves 6 stars instead of 5. I am pleasantly surprised. Congratulations
Our first time in Rhodes and we loved our hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms were excellent definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view room. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Location is OK it’s about a 20 min walk into the old town which wasn’t a problem for us but if you struggle with walking especially in hot weather you might want to stay some where closer to the old...
A review from an Irish Couple. The Hotel Mediterranean is absolutely fantastic and in a great location. Elle Beach is about 30 feet from the front door and it's only a 10 min stroll into Rhodes Old Town. The Staff are friendly and helpful. It's a large super modern hotel so the Breakfast Buffet is every man for himself!! The food was really nice and the rooms are kept super clean.
Last summer, in July , after seeing AC/DC in Bratislava , we drove home and the next day we were on the plane to Rhodes ... the hotel of choice that we've booked was the Mediterranean hotel in the Rhodes Town - and yes is was not the first time we stayed here , a bit more than 10 years ago during my first trip to Rhodes we've stayed at the same hotel. So this are my thoughts after revisiting this...

Hotel is ideally situated for the beach and backs onto new town and is a short walking distance to old town. Food/restaurant did not cater well for gluten free with limited hot food options available and ‘dish’ labels/signs did not include info to let guests know what the GF options were; which meant the Chef had to come out of the kitchen and go through what the options were which seemed very inefficient...
My first impression was a comfortable hotel with friendly and professional staff and I want disappointed. The hotel and facilities were clean and comfortable and I was able to fully relax during my stay. The food was prepared to a high standard and the restaurant staff first rate I am already looking forward to returning next year
Plus side: good breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, decent swimming pool. Minus side: massive building site opposite, operating every day from 8-4, and noisy; no ventilation in bathroom, so very smelly.
The hotel is in a great location, staff are friendly and helpful. I traveled alone due to my friend becoming ill, it was a little intimating eating alone however it was ok as there were tables on the side and bottom of the restaurant that suited me. Food was good, the beach is literally a minute away, lovely long stretch of beach and plenty of sun beds. You can walk all the way around to the port in...
That was one of the best stays in a hotel in my life. Staff of this hotel are so nice and friendly, always will help you with anything you need. Beds in a room are really comfortable. Housekeeping is very nice and helpful. Really good cosmetics products in a room. Rooms were really clean and tidy. Food was out of this world, everyday was different cuisine which was ideal. After check out you can still...
I have to give a warm recommendation for this hotel. The staff is among the best I've ever encountered, from the receptionist who goes above and beyond to assist with everything and provides personal attention to each guest, to the dining room staff, who were exceptionally attentive and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed, especially with our small children (and a special...

Hotel rooms are of a good size, beds very comfy. Clean towels every day, kitchen facility in apartment room very modern. Showers - lots of hot water available. Ask for a room to the right when get to the top of the stairs - then away from the building work across the road. The building work across the road is the reason for 2 stars. Hotel is close to beach and bars.
The Esperia City Hotel boasts a perfect location, just a short walk from both the beach and Rhodes Old Town. Our room was kept very clean with daily service, the staff was consistently friendly, and the breakfasts were good. The only real issue was the thin walls. We could easily hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms, so the sound insulation is poor. Despite the noise, I would recommend...
Like anything it has it's good and bad sides so let's go over them. The sunny side. I like to start with the positives so here they are: The staff are all very friendly and helpful from the receptionists, kitchen and room staff. Breakfast is great with lots of options to choose from (salty, sweet, sour, healthy and fast food stuff, take your pick) and they change thing daily as well. Booking was of...
A lovely stay. Quiet and immaculately clean with courteous staff. We had a room for 4 double and 2 singles with a dividing door (couple and 2 adult children)and found there was enough space, beds were comfortable and 2 balconies, 2 showers and 2 sinks and kitchen with kettle, oven/microwave. Daily cleaning and fresh towels. Excellent aircon controlled separately in bedroom/lounge. Handy to shops, restaurants...
Nice quiet hotel with smooth closing hoteldoors en friendly personell. Also the rooms are very quiet We had only breakfast but is was delicious. The hotel is clean, nice en excellent for short and long stay . People are very friendly and close to beach, shops and old rhodos. Beds are nice to sleep. The hotel is a 3 star hotel but for us is 5 star
This has been a great holiday from start to finish. The rooms are cleaned daily and staff can’t be any more helpful. Breakfast was great lots of selection. The pool is small but we never used it as we went to the pebble beach which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff are friendly and very pleasant would highly recommended

Ilias was perfect. He helped us feel at home and served us the best way possible. Also his brother Rafael is super nice and also served us well. Absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed in the annex so can’t comment on the hotel rooms. The hotel was clean and stylish. Our room was cleaned daily with great care. The hotel is well-suited for adult travelers. We found the breakfast to be good and varied. From the hotel, it was convenient to reach both the city center and the beach. We did not use the hotel’s swimming pool. All in all, a good hotel that we can warmly recommend. Tip for other travelers: Right next door there’s an excellent...
Great stay at Acandia Annex! We had a really lovely time at Acandia Annex in Rhodes. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, the Old Town, and lots of restaurants and shops. We stayed at Acandia Hotel for 5 days after getting stuck in Rhodes due to the closure of our country’s airspace. Overall allright hotel. Location is convinenet, not too long way to go anywhere. For longer stay, you would like to have some kind of couch in a room. Pool area is compact but big enough still to take the sun in. Hours when building next to it does not cast a shadow is limited.
close to harbour, local tavernas. Short walk to old town. Taxi back from old town if needed 7 euros. Can't fault this hotel! Breakfast caters for all dietary needs - continental, cooked, etc. Rooms immaculate and cleaned daily if required. Pool area bar very good with adequate menu. So good we booked again as soon as we returned home!
What a great hotel. I have only ever used it when making the trip from the UK to the distant Dodecanese, when it's wise to get to Rhodes then break your long day's travel with a recuperative night here before you get the ferry onwards, and the same on the return. The staff could not be more helpful and understanding. The rooms vary, of course, according to what you pay but are all scrupulously clean...

We arrived early hours due to fight delays, We were greeted by a glass of sparkling wine as we went to check in. Nice touch Very quick and efficient check in by friendly staff. The hotel is modern, with a great location and a good breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, a 140 cm wide bed for two people is, in my opinion, too small. We asked for a larger bed but unfortunately didn’t receive any positive response. We also noticed some ants in the room, though this might be because we brought them in from the pool area.

Pros: - Great location. Right by the beach and a 15 minute walk into the Old Town. - Kind and friendly staff. - Rooms were cleaned everyday. - Very modern lobby and bar/restaurant area. Cons: - Lack of storage space. No bedside tables with drawers, no wardrobe. It was a decent sized room and they could have utilised the space better. Hotel Lydia is in a good location and has a great breakfast. However, I wish I had known that the lobby and breakfast room are basically without air-conditioning. A good hotel with a great location, but a few things disappointed me. Firstly, the shower was really crappy because the curtain didn't reach the ground and water would spill everywhere no matter how careful I was. And there wasn't anything to clean up the water with. Excellent location, excellent and very comfortable room and super nice owners that treat you amazingly!!!
Everything is perfect here! Good rooms, correct room-service, very nice hosts, great Holiday.
Very nice hotel. Small and friendly. Lovely breakfast. Yiannis very helpful in every way. Rooms are lovely. Highly recommended.
The place is romantic and has a good and silent location. John picked us up in the middle of the night in his small electric car when we arrived.

Close to the beach, the port and the Medieval old city. Good value for money. The room had a kitchenette which was pretty convenient. The stuff was friendly and helpful. However the inernet was slow and the wifi disconnected constantly.
Perfect base for exploring Rhodes clean basic rooms breakfast was very good fantastic staff excellent location 10 minute walk to the old town and harbour and less than a minute to the beach had a fab 10 day break
Great staff and lovely view from the extremely windy balcony. Good location. Shirt walk into town. Only downside was pool didn't open till 10. Room a bit dated but bathroom was modern and room very clean
I was scared by the reviews but I found a situation better than what I’ve read! We stayed there with a baby of 4 and during the night I never heard a voice and we had a room on the sixth floor side sea view. The cleaning service was good compared to other 3 stars hotel in the city and in the receptionist and maids were all kind and friendly. Maybe we were lucky with the room but our 10 days vacation...
The hotel was decent and had all the essentials in the rooms. We had a partial view of the beach, and the rooms were clean and tidy. However, we were not very happy with the bathroom. The design was odd — the shower only had a curtain, which caused the entire bathroom to flood when someone showered. This was quite inconvenient. On the positive side, the cleaning staff did a good job and cleaned the...

The hotel has a perfect location — the sea is just a two-minute walk away, with beautiful beaches that were never too crowded. The old town is within walking distance, and there are plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed everything. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was always clean and well-kept. Highly recommended!
Fourth trip back to this hotel and, despite all other visits being great, they have certainly upped their game. Staff are amazingly friendly, rooms and all public areas are impeccably clean and the whole atmosphere is superb despite building work taking place nearby which is, understandably, out of their control. Located one street back from the beach (30-50m away) with a plethora of things to do...
We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, which immediately set a positive tone for our stay. The hotel has a modern look and feel, with stylish interiors that make it pleasant to spend time in. The swimming pool was also a highlight—clean, refreshing, and a great place to relax. Our room was beautiful, with a stunning view over the sea. On clear days, we could even see Turkey across the water...
We had a really good stay at the Mercure Hotel in Rhodes. The hotel is quite modern and the facilities such as the pool and the bar are a real plus that make the experience even more enjoyable. We stayed in a Privilege room with a balcony, which offers a stunning sea view. It was truly a pleasure to enjoy this setting. One downside is the street of bars located right next to the hotel. A few nights...
Good, clean hotel. Polite and helpful staff. Beds a little hard, but air conditioner and fridge worked great. Breakfast pretty good, but could use more meat selection. Pool small but functional- would be nice if they shut off street access- many guests come and take a shortcut through the pool area to the lobby, making for unnecessary traffic for pool users

Great location, central to anything you need. Staff were fantastic from start to finish of the booking. Helping to arrange flowers for the room and even upgrading to a large room with a sea view. Breakfast was a typical spread but had a menu for cooked options. Both were well prepared. The pool and pool bar were a great addition and stones throw from the beach. Overall it was a faultless stay. Would...
A delightful hotel, full of atmosphere and old-world elegance, fully Greek whilst bearing traces of its Italian origins. Wonderful food and great staff.
Nice hotel, great location close to beach and old town. Only thing was missing in a room was a espresso machine and stand shower. Showers are in old style.
I had a lot of fun especially in pool bar Aqua the guys there was so professional and polite and I suggest to all of you to go there thank you for everything
My parents stayed this week and had an amazing time! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, great location (didn’t need to use the rented car), the breakfast is very impressive and the staff is super friendly! They are planning to come back next year! Thank you for your amazing hospitality!
the location is perfect 10 mins walk to the old town and in the beach too .. everywhere is very clean … rooms had everything you need .. staff are so helpful .. the shower over the spa bath is a little tricky getting in via a stool .. and breakfast was a served on an afternoon tea tray with a section for food with just one of each item to share and a small cooked menu .. the casino seems to be the...
