Golden Sun Hotel

Just spent 10 wonderful days at this four star hotel... staff are excellent, all friendly and working hard to ensure we had a great experience. Rooms were cleaned every day and our cases were taken to our room and collected on departure day. Pool is kept spotless as was the restaurant with lots of choice every day. Only one observation was that the evening entertainment could have been better.

First time to Zante...although my partner has been to the Golden Sun before. And I can see why. Just a short break (5 nights) but lovely hotel, in a gorgeous location. Standard all inclusive fare, but really enjoyed it and will be back...really fallen for the area really.

**Review of Golden Sun Hotel, Kalamaki**

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Sun Hotel in Kalamaki, and it was a fabulous experience from start to finish. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and well cared for.

The food was another highlight of our stay. There was a lovely variety of dishes available, catering to all tastes. As a non-drinker, I was particularly impressed with the selection of non-alcoholic beverages on offer, which were both diverse and delicious.

Overall, we had a fantastic time at the Golden Sun Hotel. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and great drink options made our stay truly memorable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay but a few things I think the hotel should look into is the amount of outdoor seating well lack of ....there just wasn't enough seats inside or out in the evening....and the toilets I never know a hotel to have one male and one female toilet in the main area just not enough. The food was lovely and they were great with my gluten intolerance, most of the food I could eat but I could ask for pasta and bread when I wanted it. Location to the beach is like a 3 minute walk, on site shop has everything you would need but the main strip is only a 10 minute walk. The staff were nice but I do feel they could maybe tell you a few rules they have I got told off a few times for silly little things e.g going to take my cup from breakfast outside, moving the sofa cushions to the hard uncomfortable inside bar chairs. Also the hotel is on the flight path to to be honest is was more interesting than an annoyance.

One year ago, we had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Sun hotel for our honeymoon, and I can confidently say that it was an absolutely perfect experience. From the moment we arrived to the day we checked out, the Golden Sun exceeded all of our expectations, leaving us with cherished memories of our special trip.

Just returned from a 2 week stay. Can't find fault with this hotel. All staff were excellent the rooms were clean and modern. The food had an excellent choice for all meals. The head of the kitchen found time to get to know all the holiday makers and comes to say goodbye when they leave. Bar staff were pleasant at all times. People have mentioned aircraft noise..this wasn't a problem at all. Self service for wines , beer and soft drinks which meant no queuing at all. We will be returning next year..

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, fantastic friendly staff. The food was amazing with lots of authentic Greek dishes. The only downside was that we picked the wrong week, and most of Zante had already closed for the end of the season. Our fault, not the hotels, and I would definitely go there again.
