Hotel Contessina in Tsilivi-Planos

From the moment we arrived at Contessina, we knew something extraordinary was waiting for us. As soon as we stepped out of the car, someone gently took care of our luggage, welcomed us with a glass of wine, and handed us a plate of fresh fruit and dessert to celebrate our honeymoon. Then we found a handwritten letter in our room, congratulating us on our wedding and wishing us a beautiful life together. I almost cried.

Our room overlooked the pool, a peaceful, elegant scene that looked like something out of a dream. We thought it might be noisy being so close to the water, but it was the opposite: pure silence. We slept like never before. The mattress was divine, the pillows soft and perfect, the scent of the sheets warm and clean. And the design… exquisite. Modern, yet full of soul.

What truly sets Contessina apart is the care. Every second, every detail, every smile felt genuine. Before we could even think of needing something, it was already there. It wasn’t just a stay, it was a feeling, a celebration, a memory that wrapped us in peace. If you want a place where love and beauty are in every corner, Contessina is it.

This hotel definitely deserves 5 stars! The entire hotel staff is incredible! the service is excellent. I'd like to thank Joe and Federica because they were so helpful and kind.

A perfect one week stay at Hotel Contessina! Spacious rooms with direct pool access, a calm and stylish atmosphere, and outstanding service that made us feel truly cared for. Breakfast and dinner were generous, delicious, and served in an elegant setting. Excellent location — ideal for exploring the entire island. Highly recommended!

I like this hotel very much. I live in a room with its own swimming pool. Walking out of the backyard is a large balcony and swimming pool. I can lie down all day. My children love it very much. There are also many delicious local specialties for breakfast. Although there are fewer styles, you can book a nanny to help take care of the baby.

Our stay at Hotel Contessina was absolutely excellent! We were kindly upgraded to a room with a private pool at no extra charge, which was a fantastic surprise! The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and quality. To make it even more special, we were treated to a complimentary dinner on our last night. Truly five-star service and beyond – highly recommended!

We have just returned from a week stay at the Contessina Hotel and would like to thank all the hotel staff for a wonderful time! Everything about this place was top notch. Both the rooms and the common areas were very clean and tidy. As an interior designer I really appreciate the decor and design of the whole place. The rooms were very comfortable. The food was delicious and always fresh, a large selection of both savory and sweet dishes, fruits, yogurts, nuts, drinks. There are several types of sun loungers by the pool and all were very comfortable and stylish. The pool was clean and swimming in it was very relaxing. Every staff member was very nice and helpful to us, special greetings to Mrs. Luca! It was the best hotel I have ever been to and I hope that I will be able to visit it again someday. We came back full of energy and inspiration.

Where to start?
Check-in, seamless, quick and because our flight was early they allowed us to check in a little earlier. The best part was the sparkling wine on arrival, that was a nice touch after a long morning of travelling.
The room, absolutely blown away! They really take care of all of the little extras which go a long way with me!
Super comfy bed, extremely cleaned and the aesthetic is just next level.
We had a private pool room which overlooks a pool which was perfect, I'm one who likes to be with all of the action so it worked amazingly for me.
Breakfast, I could not stop eating! There was so much choice and cooked to perfection! The coffee was amazing and the service for this was 10/10.
The hotel itself is extremely clean, aesthetically beautiful I've never stayed in such a stunning place before, they really look after the grounds.
All staff members were friendly and helpful.
I really hope to return again as I loved my stay! Thanks again to all of the team.
