In my opinion the best hotel in the world for a couple's trip. The service and food were simply as good as could be. I have a gluten intolerance and the efforts that they went to to make fresh pasta/bread and others were unbelievable - however my wife has no such intolerance and also believed the food was incredible

The Porto Zante Villas and Spa is an absolutely incredible hotel. My husband and I just spent 4 nights there and were floored by its privacy, its beauty and most importantly the incredible people that work there, who make you feel as if you are their only guests, smiling and tending to any and all needs you may have. Neda and Christina at the Front desk were incredible and Tamara and Dora at the beach were also phenomenal. From the moment you enter the double security gate, you are transported into another world with a totally laid-back vibe, magnificent views, delicious restaurants, a spa perched over the turquoise water, and the kindest most amazing staff. The hotel only has 9 villas, so the privacy and intimacy it affords is beyond imaginable. My husband and I cancelled our reservation at the Amanzoe to stay at Porto Zante, and I am absolutely thrilled we did so. While our kids are grown and didn’t come with us, most of the other villas had families with young children, and we were amazed how incredible the staff was with all the kids. Each day we ate our delicious breakfast at our villa and spent the mornings floating in our full-sized beautiful pool, and the afternoons on the beach at our reserved chaises and umbrella. The only time we ever left the hotel grounds was when my husband needed to go to a bank to get cash and the hotel sent a driver and Mercedes to take him there and back. A week after we left and got home to California, we realized my husband had left his AirPods ant the hotel outside of the case (shown on “Find my iPhone”). I sent an email and received a quick response that they searched everywhere and found the AirPods in the garden of our villa between the grass and the flowers and are sending them back to us by DHL courier! Such amazing service! My husband and I have stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world, but this may have been the best hotel experience we’ve ever had, because of the amazing privacy and service. We absolutely cannot wait to return to Porto Zante, hopefully for a full week next time! Efcharisto (thank you) to all the staff at Porto Zante!

Our stay here was absolutely sublime. From start to finish the service was exceptional. Before you even had time to think about what you wanted, it was provided to you. The level of anticipation from the staff was second to none. We were recommended to have breakfast at our pool terrace for the first morning but it was so good and relaxing that we had breakfast/lunch out there every day. The villa is absolutely stunning and so relaxing. The private swimming pool was amazing and everything just felt so peaceful. We loved the private beach and the two ladies who were there on shift every day couldn't have been more helpful as tried our hand at paddle boarding, canoeing and every other available water sports options. We were given a complimentary spa treatment for each of us which was fantastic and we all raved about how great it was. We had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager on our first night as he went out of his way to greet us after we had a sumptuous dinner in the Clubhouse restaurant. The true service came from the reception/concierge. There were three amazing ladies that we dealt with pretty much every day and there was amazing. Always checking in on us and making sure that we had everything that we needed.

I took my partner here on 05/06/24 to propose to her, after seeing the club restaurant online I looked through so many restaurants to find the best one on the island, one that would give her the best balance between scenery, food, privacy, and ambience. All boxes were well and truly ticked! When we arrived we were greeted at the main gates, as you walk in the this place looks amazing! We were shown the restaurant when you can see right out to sea with an amazing view, after taking our seats in the club house restaurant I was so pleased this place was perfection! There was a live pianist playing which my fiancé loved! We had appetisers which were unbelievable! Starters we had grilled octopus & calamari both again unreal! Our mains were lamb chops and the sea bass, again AMAZING! desert we had crème brûlée and crepes made at the table which was a really nice touch! After the dessert is when I popped the question, the restaurant came out after she said yes and they had gone out of their way to congratulate us with 2 glass of champagne and they made us a cake! Which I could not be more thankful for as this really topped off my fiancés night! If you’re one for fine dining, food and service excellence, then this is the place for you! I would highly recommend if you’re visiting Zakynthos then this place is a must!

If you haven*t stayed at Porto Zante until now, then you should definitely add it to your list. It is surely one of the best small hotels in europe, Fantastic location directly at a quiet beach with crystal clear water, top service and outstanding villas which offer a lot of space and privacy. Staff is friendly throughout and they always deliverd the best service. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return.

A Property beyond all others! I have stayed at many wonderful hotels, resorts and villas in many destinations and I must say Porto Zante is more than exceptional. From the moment we arrived to a warm welcome from staff and an introduction to the resort to our final departure with hugs from the team I could not have hoped for a more relaxing and beautiful vacation. We stayed for only 3 nights which surely not long enough but enjoy our villa with beautiful outdoor space and pool. The pool was perfect! On our arrival I was asked if the pool temperature was OK and upon checking it was a bit too cool for my comfort and by the next morning the pool was my prefered temperature. The breakfast served in our private villa garden was exceptional with the best eggs benedict I have eaten! The ladies who were so attentive which at the beach provide all we needed to enjoy the ocean and the water toys like paddle boards. We enjoy fantastic spa treatments in the oceanside spa as well. Dinner service in both the restaurants was amazing and complemented the delicious food served. The property is so beautiful like the island itself. For those who want to experience Greek islands I personally think Zakynthos should not be missed. As part of the Ionian islands it is more lush and green than Aegean and therefore more appealing to me. I would say that the privacy and service stand out the most. The rooms are absolutey great but I found that to be the case other places. What is most unique is truly the service delivered by everyone we came in contact with. They accommodated every request and more with a gracious attitude. It was such a refreshing pleasure when outstanding service is rate these days. Porto Zante is a place I highly recommend and it is truly a great value.

Porto Zante Villas & Spa is one of the most exclusive and private resorts I've visited. Noting its many deserved accolades, it is a hidden paradise of uninterrupted beauty, surrounded by stunning views and abundant luxuriant foliage. An air of opulence fills this remarkable safe haven. The residences are comprised of various extravagant villas each with privacy in mind and are all of palatial standards. On this occasion we stayed in the exquisite Royal Infinity Villa which was abundant of grand features and amenities. Graced with lavish furnishings, sumptuous products, high-end tech, and the stunning infinity pool with those views... The impressive open face spa overlooks the Ionian Sea and adorns the rock face, a must to indulge in a few treatments. Between the rock face and the sea is a secluded beach front with decking areas and activities. The world-class gastronomy on hand provided many diverse options, from in-villa fine dining to the club house restaurant, and the glorious open-air Maya restaurant (of which was my personal preference). The hospitality is seamless, staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Porto Zante goes above and beyond to ensure exceptional service is provided. Reception greeted us with warm smiles and engagement every day making us feel very welcomed. Housekeeping was undisturbed and ran a remarkably meticulous discreet operation. We spent 10 days at the illustrious Porto Zante Villas and Spa, my 3rd visit to this outstanding private sanctuary which makes it feel like a resplendent home from home. The villas, grounds, service, staff, and location exceed all expectations. Truly world-class and unquestionably highly recommended. How was our stay? In a nutshell, perfect. Perfect in all respects, from the sweetest of warm welcomes to the fondest of farewells. I can't conceive of a resort to equal (let alone surpass) Porto Zante for its superlative staff service. Discreet, would be one adjective. But that doesn't anywhere near cover it. Without beckoning, they sort of appeared at the villa when you just needed them most, and then shimmered out again, gracefully. You then came to realise that they had provided you with something wanting before you were even aware of the need. Jeeves, the fictional gentleman's attendant, was described in similar terms. He was a marvel, and so are the whole team at Porto Zante. And on top of this impeccability, this bar-raising, expectation-defying hospitality, the villa, the pool and the pretty garden were five-star, and beyond. And so back to the nutshell. 'Perfect' is an absolute, so you can't really say 'more perfect'. But, to tell the truth, a 'more perfect' holiday I never expect to find, in this life or the next.
