Where to stay in Kalyves

Before anything else: this place IS NOT a five stars hotel! I’m on my last full day - 7 nights stay - and want to leave a fresh and mindful comment about this place, so that people know this place is terrible in terms of quality per price. - cleanliness is terrible. When we entered the room the floor was wet. When it dried it was full of dust. Asked to sweep it and the maids showed up with a broom...

Beautiful Hotel Clean - amazing pools with freshwater. The all inclusive food was delicious and the service impeccable. The views were fantastic. The drinks were tasty. The staff were very friendly and professional at all times. The spa was amazing with fantastic massage. I will be back for sure it was an amazing 5 days !

We loved our room and the whole hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful!Great options for kid activities and the food was pretty good for an all inclusive hotel. Our only slightly negative remark is that there was no pool bar for water and snacks near our room

We had an incredible stay at this family-friendly, all-inclusive resort in Chania, Crete! The kids enjoyed endless activities, from the kids’ club to exciting water slides. Room was quite large with a separate bedroom for 2 kids. Reasonable size of balcony with a seaview. Everyday cleaning was working well. Very good cleanliness level. Good and active service. Hotel situates on the beach, peaceful area.

Lovely beachfront hotel, clean nice sized rooms, friendly helpful staff many amenities- 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, spa and gym. Evening entertainment Greek night, live music poolside bar. Good food and plenty of choice.

Nice hotel. Outstanding animation by Emiliano, he also gave us some tips and helped us planning a day trip to explore the island. Private beach with included sunbeds. Large variety of food at the buffet and you can also find a Greece corner with domestic food. The rooms are okay. Altogether we had a very nice stay at Kalyves Beach.

We stayed here for a week for our wedding which was in Kalyves - we were treated like royalty! Our room was upgraded and we were brought gift after gift - the staff were truly amazing, so friendly and caring. We had a wonderful time at Kalyves beach hotel. The service and food were excellent. The all inclusive services was really handy. The beach is right in front of the hotel. Beautiful! There are shops for food and restaurants. Recommend it for families, and couples.

Fantastic owner, simple and clean with all what you need, original decorations, great location 50m from beach, restaurants, large public parking around 60m away. On Friday and Saturday night loud music from the city center.

Great family owned hotel. We had nice large apartment with sea view. Our apartment and all hotel facilities were very clean. Hotel is just few meters from the nice sandy beach. Owner is very nice person and very helpful :) we had a great stay!

A simple, cozy place, but in a great location and very quiet. Very close to the beach; it is ideal as a base for visiting the western part of Crete and returning to a quiet place every evening. Recommended.

A very nice, well-kept house. Tastefully furnished, high quality kitchen equipment, very comfortable beds. There are several balconies so that you can either have sun or shade at any time. Extremely friendly and very caring landlord. There are two identical houses next to each other, each with a completely separate garden area and pool.

The very friendly owners, Nikos and Maria, and their son George met us at our agreed arrival time at the property and showed us all the features of this lovely 2 bedroom maisonette. The owner Maria met us at the property and she had even prepared us some food on a late arrival which was most welcome! Also her husband Georgos helped us with the luggage which was very helpful.

Top notch, modern, spacious villa with a great outdoor space and scenic views from the balconies. Just a 10 minute walk to Kalyves beech. Minor point, it's located on a main road so the traffic can be a little noisy. Thoroughly recommend.

Really nice place, enough space for 4 people and the house ist really good equipped! Only a short 10 minutes walk to the beach and some good restaurants. Nice view and very clean. I would book it again!

An excellent place! Lovely garden around the pool, smartly furnished and very well-equipped interior. The landlords are really helpful. The villa’s position is very good for visiting any place on western Crete, but also make sure you do not miss the beach just 700 meters down a dirt-road from Villa Yianna!
