Spent a week at Pelagos. Modern clean hotel with lovely Mediterranean planting. Good food, large pool and waterslides. The dining room staff were excellent. It was a shame the wine wasn’t better quality, staff were squeezing it out of foil bags into jugs. The property is a 30-45 minute walk to town (We were advised there were problems with taxis on the island so avoided them.) The beach is across a road from the hotel. It has nice loungers etc and a small bar but you have to walk back up to the hotel for the toilet. Disappointing how much rubbish was left lying around the beach. We had a delux suite and the bed was so comfy but the huge terrace had no loungers, just a big empty space. Old town is nice but the area leading up to that from the hotel is a bit run down with rubbish and old broken furniture just left around. Sadly Kos wasn’t for me, I preferred Rhodes. This place didn’t have the sparkle of other resorts.

Stayed for 6 nights.

Overall reasonably good, with a wide range of decent food & drink available for an all in.

The room itself was a good size, and comfortable, but was starting to look tired. The biggest drawback was the absolute & total lack of soundproofing between the room and the corridor. The first few nights we thought it was that the room was quiet - it was simply that there was no-one else in the surrounding rooms. The final night really showed how wrong I was. The noise from other guests was LOUD, and constant, and I could hear every word of their conversation through the hotel door as well as every footstep outside. I think I ended up getting less than five hours sleep as a result.

Amazing hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself is very well kept and modern. The rooms are lovely and the balcony with chairs, tables and sunbed were perfect, just what we needed to enjoy the last few hours of the sunshine before evening.
The food has been lovely, plenty of choice and attentive staff in the restaurant, nothing is too much trouble.
The pools are great, plenty of choice and the water slides have been an added bonus for our daughters who have loved playing on them.
The pool bar is great, the staff again are very helpful and attentive, always asking if you needed another drink, kept us well hydrated.
The Italian restaurant was really nice especially with the added bonus of watching the sunset from the terrace whilst eating our meal. The Mediterranean restaurant was also lovely.
The animation staff work very hard and produce great entertainment.
I would also recommend the spa, the massages are amazing and my daughter also had one with me which was a lovely experience for us both. The staff in the spa are lovely and great at their job.
All in all we would highly recommend the hotel to friends and family and would like to visit again. Thankyou for making our stay perfect, we have had a wonderful holiday at your beautiful hotel.

Lovely clean hotel, very family friendly! Food, pools and bars were all great. Kids had a fabulous time on the slides and playing in the pool!
We were concerned having seen reviews about the food but we ate really well, loved the fresh fish and salads. I imagine the people who didn't enjoy it are used to huge global buffets in massive hotels, which really isn't our thing so we were happy!
Peaceful at nighttime and we slept really well, very comfortable.
A couple of areas for improvement would be to have a few more bar staff attending tables at the pool bar in the evening as it was busy and a wait to get served, some more lit areas or small table lamps in an evening would be nice for the pool bar too. Drinks are not topped up in the main restaurant area at meal times which I would expect, either need staff to do this or maybe introduce some self serve areas for soft drinks, wine, beer, coffee.
Overall we had a brilliant holiday and definitely would return.

Third consecutive year here... For anyone worrying about their upcoming holiday because of the odd negative review and change in owners, we arrived last week it's still.oir favorite destination for both us and the children. If I hadn't read the reviews I wouldn't have even know of the change in owners. The restaurant was the same high quality as always, if anything it seemed better and had more salad options. The same mix of greek and western food and still has the themed nights like in the past e.g. Mexican, Greek, American, mixed grill. Definitely something for everyone to eat and of high quality also. It's an all inclusive so of course they're going to use the same ingredients to ensure less waste, but the variety and quality is as good as it's always been, if not better. The sports facilities seem to have been upgraded with new pitches and improved outdoor facilities. The staff are extremely friendly... Especially the lady in the shop who is SO kind to our boys even though they accidentally broke something 😵 If you have any requests or problems with anything the staff are very quick to respond and resolve. The hotel is relatively small compared to some of the bigger hotels mentioned in other reviews, so you can't expect a huge variety of food and entertainment. But if you are looking for a calm, family friendly hotel which feels safe, with enough to entertain the kids that isn't too loud and rowdy and in your face, then this is your place 🙏🏻 This year we visited the on site restaurants which we haven't done before, we had our best meal on the island yet (we have eaten out many times as Kos town, Tigaki and Zia). You get a token for both the Greek and Mediterranean one. The Mediterranean one has the most wonderful views. It is close to Kos town which we venture out to a few times a week for a change of scenery, although this isn't necessary as the kids (and us) love the onsite entertainment. We also wonder down to the beach as there is always a fantastic breeze. Although this means the sea is quite choppy the kids still love to look for shells and sea glass and play in the waves (with sea shoes on as it is pebbly where the sea meets the sand) As previously mentioned, this is our third consecutive year and every year we look at other options but always come back. We are a week in to our 2 week holiday and are already thinking of booking for next year. Thanks Pelagos, We'll probably see you next year 💖

Amazing hotel, 5 star service all staff are so friendly. Beds are so comfortable. Bus stop right outside hotel is very handy and beach is beautiful. Breakfast was yummy and lots of option only let down was the lunch so we did not dine in all inclusive restaurant very much. Lots of drink options. Italian restaurant is beautiful so definitely book this when you go. Had the best stay, thank you!

This resort is not 5 stars. In particular, we were shocked at the poor quality of food and beverage.
The room itself was great, the housekeeping and cleanliness was great, but for the price charged and what was delivered is just not good enough.
Serving chopped frozen vegetables and frozen chicken schnitzels/party food at a 5 star resort is simply unacceptable. If this food was served in Australia at even a 2 star resort, there would be a riot - it boggles the mind that the Pelagos team think this is acceptable. Saying "individual tastes" is a joke, that is preferring tomato sauce to mayonnaise, not frozen vegetables to fresh vegetables.
If you told us this resort was 3 stars and charged a 3 star price, my review would change. I wouldn't be expecting 5 star quality. But this resort is expensive and my expectations were high.
On a positive note, the Guest Services team were receptive to our feedback and we appreciated their professional response.
Animation team were also fantastic - shout out to Dominika and her team, they are a delight and so talented.
I'd encourage anyone considering this resort to consider what's important to you - if eating and drinking well is part of your holiday, don't come here.

The animation was great. The Girls are very friendly and maken you feel welcome. The resort is really nice looking and all the rest of the staff is also really friendly and ready too help you with everything. The food is very variated, so everyone can eat what he likes.

You research a holiday resort and it's not very often your more impressed once you've been there, the photos don't do the place justice. Arrived check in was quick then we were driven to our room via a buggy (511). The room was large clean and central to everything. Reports of the buffet restaurant were more or less spot on, yes the food was like warm not hot ( didn't bother me as that's how I prefer it, but could see how others would find it unsatisfactory) generally there was always something for everyone's taste in our group, the cakes were incredible never ate so many. Visited both Al a carte restaurant's, the Italian was far superior to the Greek surprisingly but think this was more down to the staff in each. Daytime we spent in the Adult pool which was very relaxing which suited our needs, the Animation team were always chatty and gave a 100% in everything they did whether it was around the pool or on an evening. For me what made our holiday special was the staff, the attention they gave was above and beyond. George from the buffet and Italian restaurant Mike from the pool bar were brilliant, apologies I can't remember the young lady's name in the adult pool bar the all work with a massive smile on their faces. Will I be back... definitely.

My wife and I stayed at Pelagos Suites Hotel & Spa in a junior suite with a shared pool between 11–21 June 2025. This was a special trip to celebrate my 40th birthday, and overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, and our suite offered a superb sea view which really added to the holiday atmosphere. The staff were genuinely lovely and very helpful throughout our stay – a real highlight of the experience. The selection of food included in the all-inclusive package was good, varied, and well-prepared. Drinks were decent as well, and service in the bars and restaurants was always friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, a couple of issues did detract from the overall experience. One disappointment was when we borrowed an iron and ironing board. The iron provided was old and dirty, and as a result, it caused damage to several of my clothes, including shirts and shorts. Although the guest relations team offered laundry service as a form of support, the materials had already been damaged beyond repair, and no cleaning could fix that. Another significant letdown happened on our final day. We had arranged and paid €220 to extend our check-out to 9pm due to a late flight, hoping to relax and enjoy our final hours in peace. Sadly, this was disrupted by guests from room 107 who invited another couple from a different room to the shared pool area. The noise and lack of privacy made it impossible to enjoy the space we had specifically paid extra for. While we did report this issue to reception and mentioned it again during check-out, it was disappointing that no compensation or follow-up was offered. We’ve stayed in many 4- and 5-star hotels before, and this type of situation – especially when paying a premium – is something we’ve never encountered. In the end, we left feeling a bit exhausted and let down, especially as this was meant to be a memorable birthday celebration. It’s unfortunate that the holiday ended on this note, as the rest of the experience had been very positive. We would still recommend Pelagos Suites Hotel & Spa for its overall quality, kind staff, and good facilities. However, we do hope the hotel reviews its policies around shared amenities and handling of guest feedback, particularly in cases where guests pay extra for enhanced services or time.
