Maria Beach Hotel

Wonderful location by the sea, with excellent, large, comfortable rooms and amazing views; very clean and great friendly staff. The family is extremely kind, excellent hosts and always ready to help! It’s a great place to calm down and relax listening to the waves!

Big rooms with simple equipment, nice sunbeds at a wonderfull sandy beach. definitely worth the money.

Right on the water in Kissimo this place is great. The concierge was very Knowledgeable and accommodating. Our room was clean and stocked with Toiletries. Great service at the bar and restaraunt. Parking isn't the best but that seems to be the case for the whole town.
Very grateful for the air conditioning!

Very nice hotel, which is made up of small houses. The room we had was large enough, had air conditioning, a balcony and a nice bathroom with a rain shower.
Breakfast buffet was not our cup of tea, which is why we ordered ala carte.
Maid service was very nice, as was the reception.
Service from the hotel restaurant not good. Very slow and sometimes we were not served.

Probably one of the best places in Crete. The hotel is right at the beach (10 meters), the beach is very quiet, not many tourists, although there are lots of activities on the water like standing up paddling and jetski.
The hotel is run by a family who are super friendly, relaxed and sincere. Very good food at the hotel. Sunset and sunrise in the bay are magical. The place feels like paradise! Ideal for a romantic holiday but also for families.

Great beachfront hotel with a familiar touch, the staff is super kind. The restaurant has a lovely setting right at the beach below the trees, nice vibes and great food! The breakfast was fresh and extensive. We’d come back for sure.

Wonderful place for relaxing holidays 🏝️. If we could only get there before this windy week starts and spend more time at the beach... As for the rest, our room offered a beautiful sea view, the food at the restaurant was delicious, very friendly and helpfull staff. Special thanks to Marina 🌷!
It's a quite advantageous location for those who don't drive: you may easily get to the most famous beaches by bus and/or by ferry and also visit historical sites of Chania, Rethimnon, etc.

I cannot say enough about how hard the Maria Beach staff works. I'm pretty sure it's run by a family. Everyone was always smiling and happy. Always asking how we were enjoying our holiday thus far... the drinks are fresh and yummy. The food was always delicious and well put together. I wanted to move in, grab an apron, and help serve with the staff. Very accommodating. The location was great. We had about a 35 minute drive from our 2nd location in Old Town Chaina. We spent most of our time on the beach with a one day excursion with SeaZe The Day. Room's are cleaned every other day, with bed sheets changed every 4th day. The rooms have a balcony and a kitchenette. Beds were comfy, water pressure in the showers were great, and again, the STAFF! A thousand thanks yous. You guys really run a well-oiled hotel/restaurant. I would happily come back. Also, I loved that they were friendly to the stray street kitties (that was my favorite part of my Greece trip, the cats)! Thank you guys again, I hope.to be able.to come.back one day!!!

This is a nice hotel - right at the beach, plenty of parking space nearby. My favourite was the breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view of the beach. Good choice at breakfast - costs 10 eur per person and it’s worth it. Rooms are well designed. 2 minor inconveniences - mattresses are quite soft and pillows not particularly comfortable. We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms - the second one had a weird position of the A/c blowing directly over the bed where the heads are and hence not very practical. Staff are friendly though at times seemed overwhelmed.

We are very satisfied from the food and the hotel super friendly and helpful staff I don’t have any issues with the place. I would highly recommend it to everyone who like romantic places. My personal opinion is that this hotel deserves more then 2 stars.
