Where to stay in Leonidion

The owner was inimaginabbly friendly. The balcony was oriented directly to the sea and we had breakfast there every morning. The village is super nice and quiet. You can take a walk to Saint George ( I think it's some small church) on a wild path along the seaside trough an olive orchard.

The apartment we stayed in during 8 nights located 10 meters from the sea and has a big balcony with beautiful sea views and suitable for having a meal outside. There is only one room but it's spacy - lots of place for climbing gear/luggage/bags/etc.. ,with high ceilings, big wardrobe and lots of drawers. It has large bed with really huge blankets. We prolonged our stay twice. Big, clean and quiet apartment close to the beach with a great terrace and seaview. The owners provided us with food, fruit, loukoumades and other gifts. Really pleasant stay!

We stayed here for a good week during our latest climbing trip. The studio we had was really big, had a very good wide bed, great view from the balcony. Only the stove in the kitchen was a bit weak, but else a really good place to stay. Also the hosts are very friendly! They even brought us some home-made snacks and sweets every other day, and generally were very helpful with all questions and requests...

5-star treatment from a 3-star hotel! A wonderful hotel, picturesque and very clean, ideal for a quiet vacation and only a stone's throw from the beach. But where this beautifully built hotel really shines is the politeness and hospitality of the family that runs it. Great service, the owner was extremely nice and gave great recommendations. Breakfast is very nice. Hotel is 5min walk from very nice restaurant and coffee place, both located on the beach. 10 min drive from Leonidio town.

We stayed at this lovely, old feeling hotel at a last minute notice. Luckily, there was one room available. It was in the sub-street level and was great apart from a funky smell in the bathroom, which is typical of such older establishments. Absolutely incredible experience staying at Hotel Byzantinion. Christos and his family went above and beyond to take personal care of us and the other guests to make sure we had the best stay possible not just in the hotel but in the region. Christos pointed us to the top spots for the best local meat, seafood, and sightseeing. Poulithra is also the perfect area to stay in, it is a beautiful beach...

The Byzantinon is a hidden gem on the Peleponese. Christos and the staff made use feel very welcome and their hospitality was fantastic. Location was excellent 10 min to Leonidio. Local restaurant is excellent selling local food. A short walk to the beach. We highly recommend staying at the Byzantinon.

Lovely old mansion hotel. Well maintained with nice touches to it. We had the suite which was OK though it could be bigger (especially the bathroom) . Breakfast was adequate. All in all a very good choice for Leonidio

We are there in mid-July 2021. The place is amazing, the hosts very welcoming and kind. The accommodation is very clean, well equipped and overlooking a breathtaking landscape! The owners even had everything planned for our first breakfast! What delicacy. Thank you so much. We dream of going back.

The view is nothing less than incredible. It is a quiet hotel with impressive villas and nice staff. The swimming pool is clean and cozy. Only minus for the hotel is the accessibility: a lot of stairs, difficult to go up and down and you have to use the car for every movement. All in All, a nice choice if you like quiet and isolated places to relax

We would happily stay here again! In fact we liked it so much that we booked another night here. This hotel is run by a friendly Greek family that speak excellent English. There was a safe place inside for our two bicycles (always important when cycle touring). Rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious. Conveniently located near a supermarket and just a short stroll to the restaurants.

Nice hotel, tidy, near the centre of Leonidio, no problem with parking - the hotel has it's own parking places on the street. Situated next to the bakery on one side and next to the market on the other side, so one can buy everything just before breakfast. Close to some climbing sectors. Rooms might be renovated, but the owners really take care of the place. Good place to stay in Leonidio.

My 17-year-old son stayed at the old hotel for three weeks. Quite perfect. Amazing views, comfortable bed, hot shower, relaxing pool side with various sun decks, lemon trees, tranquility. The owner even sent us a message before check out to let us know we could do a late check out. Superb and respectful. Covid safe.

Great location, really pleasant and clean... with a beautiful view, large rooms, well-equipped and clean bathrooms...a full kitchen with all appliances that work in perfect condition, a large garden with colorful and gorgeous flowers where children can play... The location has many positive points: - the view is exceptional - the houses are very beautiful and spacious -the host is welcoming - the pool is large and private - in the evening you can admire the starry sky and count the falling stars -it is a quiet location. you can always find a place for yourself on the terrace or in the garden so you can meditate or read a book The only minus of the location...

This is my most favourite place to go during the Easter holidays!! I went with my best friend, and she loved it too! This swimming pool over there is just amazing looking out over the sea and landscape. I recommend this beautiful place, please go!!

We stayed at the place for 4 days, and it was a great experience. Amazing view, very comfortable apartment. Beach is very close, but you can also swim in the pool and enjoy the view. It is quite remote, but if you need some action, Tyros is just 5-7 min away
